I think the genre of this song is dance music (electronic dance music). There's some flaws in there but overall an interesting tune.

Interesting track. Sounds more jazz than rock, though. Has a bit of a Latin vibe to it...Good job!

    Cheers,

Wow. Quite weird. I liked it a lot. Not rock, but progressive as hell!

Definantly heard 0:40 riff before. Santana's "Smooth". If it's not a total lift, it was close.

"I think you have the riff from "I like it like that" in there." T.V.

Seems a bit shady to have riffs so close or identical to famous tracks. May want to do some altering.

Although not rock, this instrumental is great and mixes a great lot of elements that make it both interesting and hard to define it in a single genre. I never really cared much about these genre definitions, anyway.
It's your first track and it's really great, keep doing this! Also, about the abrupt ending (although not so abrupt), I don't know if you chose to do that on purpose or if you simply forgot to add a fade out to the track. I prefer the conventional fade out manner of ending, but I don't mind abrupt endings that much.

Interesting composition you came up with, suggest you turn down the volume a bit on the last part since it went all distorted but I liked the track in general ;)

Hey, nice song! I see some people are saying this isn't rock, and I guess I know what they mean, but at the same time rock shouldn't have so many rules. It puts me in mind of Jethro Tull, who is definitely rock for the most part. Also gives me some hints of "fusion" which is an available genre here on Looperman. Any way I like it a lot! The only thing I noticed is that you seem to have clipping or distortion throughout most of the track, may want to lower some faders or check that your mastering plugins aren't going past 0 dB. Good work!

yeah! it's jazz-y, making you move around and dance! Not bad at all! But it's not rock, some people are not gonna listen to it just because they're prejudiced about that :)

For the First you did very well. A nice jazz pop show tune. Very easy to listen to and meander along with the music. A pleasure to listen.

one more thing...I'm not good in genres and styles but there are many elements of cha cha cha in this song, which is the best part of this rock song...:-)

! LOL ! sorry is this a new joke that you have called
    it rock !?
aahhh....why Iran is like that ?
there's someone whose works is frightfully good there,
most technical player you've ever known and his skills is transcontinental and not only over Asia that to be fair
    even over europe too !
but then if we say nothing to that the only one ,all the others sound infantile there !
    i actually don't underestand !

Not sure I would call this Rock, but it starts off interestingly. I think you have the riff from "I like it like that" in there.

Description : This is my newest creation, at a stage very near to completion. No third-party mastering or mixing, as with all my tracks. Just have to fix a few tiny things. I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO MIX EVERYTHING IN THE SAME SESSION. This song has all human-played instruments - no quantization or MIDI! My brother does all the vocals except for the interlude part, which I do. My other brother plays the rhythm guitar (a Gibson Les Paul Custom - only one of 12 in the world!!) and I play the accompanying guitar (a Johnny Mar Jag and PRS). He has a lot of guitars :P A good friend of ours, Ronnie, plays the bass and another friend, Freddie, plays the drums. The drum track was done in one take (had to use an electric drum set due to time constraints - but acoustic kits are so much better). Overall, pretty satisfied with the result. Let me know your thoughts.

The idea musically was to take some rock and some bluegrass elements, mash 'em up and see what happened.
