Description : I know that it's early in the game for Christmas music, but this is easily one of my favorite melodies, period. It is a song that I have been meaning to record for years, and finally it's done. I started throwing around the idea of a looperman Christmas album with some of the members here and naturally Slap was the first one that I contacted, as I figured he would add something lovely and distinct to this track. I do believe that the results speak for themselves. Thanks as always for listening and here's hoping that you get some inspiration from it. Peace, Six
This was just what I needed. Something to really cool my nerves and get me down on my feet after listening to so much hip-hop. I can't really believe it though, seeing that christmas is MONTHS away, but this is really great, so why not enjoy it? :)
NIce Six, your plugged in and rippin yet it still feels so smooth and relaxing, you are a true 6 string master, Santa should reward you, like a nice pair of 6 fingered leather gloves in your stocking so you can play in this bizarre LA cold. lol. Nice arrangement on this and a very nice addition to the looper x-mas album. peace.
usually I'm not a great fan of christmas songs, but this special song is the one exception ...
you know, I'm Austrian, and for us this song is part of our national identity, we're simply proud that this melody was born here ...
and I love your interpretation ... a lot of emotion in there!!
wonderful ...
Thank you sir for listening and your kind words. I have loved this song since I was I very young. Not because of the lyrical content, but because the melody is so distinct and moody. I am happy that Slap & I did justice to an Austrian masterpiece! Peace, Six
Wow! Thank you so much for listening and for your kindness. Slap deserves a LOT of credit for playing such a flawless lead. He really gave this song the kind of dynamics that it needed. Good cheer to you my friend. Peace, Six
Thanks Peppermint...mmmm...Hot Cocoa sounds good. Are there people out there who actually have it without the marshmellows? How sad. Thanks for listening. Peace and good cheer, Six
I realize I have reviewed this previously, however when I need to find comfort from the storm, I seek out those things that provide sanctuary. I come back to this song of peace performed with such sensitive emotion to cradle me from the world and remind me that there is indeed hope. I find peace and hope in this sound. I am home.

This is as beautiful as the blessed night itself. A sonic reflection of hope. This is as brilliant as a shinning star guiding us to our dreams of peace on earth. My words can not convey the depth of craftsmanship on display.
Cause for tears of joy.

Thank you so much Sky. I have always been haunted by this particular melody. I mean since I was old enough to remember such things. It was very easy for me to put some passion into it. And Slap of course OOZES passion. What a true joy and honor for me to be able to work with him. And we would not have been able to do it if there was no Looperman.com. What a great thing. Peace and good cheer, Six
P.S. Hope the tour is treating you well.
I haven't even thought of a Halloween costume yet but after listening to this, I say screw Halloween. I'm ready for Christmas now. You two are just amazing. Rambo, Ivan Drago, hell...even President Ahmadenijad would shed a tear hearing this. Virtuoso work by both of you. You rode the balance of sticking to the concept without making it boring and making the song yours without bastardizing it. Amazing. Amazing. Amazing.
This is really cool...makes me feel all warm inside...all the Looperfam curled up around a fireplace having a good time, just enjoying the spirit of Christmas...while you've got Six and Slap performing live for us...This is really nice guys...good work you made a good team on this one...
Wow Six, it's September but that makes me feel the Christmas spirit coming on. Great arrangement and playing from the six finger Santa, I'm glad you managed to fuse my parts in (hope it didn't take too long)! It will be interesting to see what happens from here on now this has thrown the cat among the pigeons.... All the best to you Buddy...
A great step away from traditionally arranged carols by candle light....some superb playing by yourself and the Slapster....get this one out quickly into the stores and you might just do what Christmas has become...make a fortune!..with the emphasis on tune!...cheers and Christmas blessings Planet :)
Thank you sir, your words are always enlightening and entertaining. Too bad about the whole money thing. Right after I posted this song the dow lost something like 4000 points. Ugh. Peace and good tidings my friend, Six

I just put together some old ideas to see if it will work. Some vocals and brass, or guitars is clearly needed. Let me know what you think about it. Tnx
Description : Do not freak out just because this is jazz! There's also blues, rock, funk and a little hip hop in it to break up the deep, chillout jazz sections - gets particularly rocking then funky at the end. Main bassline (the track's foundation) is recycled leftover slide resonator guitar parts detuned one octave to make a slide bass sound. Also features: piano, violin, hammered dulcimer, organ, ethereal pad guitar, bass guitar, jazz/blues/rock electric guitar and multiple programmed acoustic drumkits. This was difficult to make at times as I thought I needed more leads parts eg from sax or trumpet. But I'm happyish with the end result. I expect very little interest in this as it's both jazz and long jazz. But it's also an unusual type of genre-mixing jazz. So, leave your thoughts, good or bad, if you like...
Description : This is track me and my friend (great jazz, blues musician) done
around this great vocal we acquired.
Lot of hours in it.
I had great fun making it!
Hope you people like it.
Love and peace.
Description : I think it's a late evening song to accompany you for a single drink.
Jazzy in most of the aspects. It is made single handedly so please consider it an experimentation for the thrill of making music.
Hope you will like it.
Description : This track made me just stop working on it and listen to it for enjoyment.
Smooth Mellow funky Jazz. Uses: 0111003-djrumplestiltskin-swung-funk-drum-beat, 0087009-mrroads442-guitar-line, 0072485-michiel555-mellow-funk, 0058934-ferryterry-90-bpm-soprano-sax. Is this Funk or Jazz?
Description : This track contains only free loops from Stayonbeat.com and several loops from Looperman artists (listed below). I "made a promise" that my next track will be use a lot of jazzy loops - well, i done with this track, for the great sadness of jazz lovers or experts i think - i fear they will never forgive me. :) While my ISP launches my internet out of the Earth system for a long time, i had to face the fact that i dont have too much downloaded jazz loops on my computer, so i think no wonder that this one is sounds like if i smoke some marihuana while making it. But hey, who cares, i like the result - it reminds me the (maybe only) really funny episode of "Breaking Bad", where Pinkman uses some heroin and flyes up with an idiotic smile on his face - that chapter is priceless. :D
I dont think this one needs a vocal, but ofcourse you can use it if you want, and as always, just write and i will give any support as i can. Any feedback welcomed too as always. Enjoy! UPDATE 2015.10.24.: improved audio quality - lower lows, higher highs. Now in 256kbps!

Description : Something a bit different from us. I (Bobo) played guitar, synth, midi bass and percs to this piano loop by LM's most excellent Rasputin. Wataya, stoned as usual, thought he heard Barbara Streisand singing. This is the result.
Description : I created a hip hop groove in Logic and decided to duel some Saxophones. I am playing the Baritone sax on the left pan and the Tenor Sax on the right pan.
I added some bells like a boxing match bell to give it a fight drama feel. The hip hop track itself is dope to me. The duel is cool too. Who won?
