Description : Hi everybody! Well... I finally made my own song. As I said before: I know nothing about music, so, sorry for mistakes and stuff. I know that this melody is very simple, but it's only the beginning. Maybe I'll be able to make more elaborated songs. Constructive criticisms are always welcome. This melody was made in Magix Music Maker 2013 Premium. I hope you like it! Thanks! SUN & MOON... FIRE & ICE HEART... LIGHT & DARK FUSION...

I think that if you try to make a track to complex it looses the interest of people so in that way simple things can still stand out in the crowd, I must say that your track is great and for a first try on making your own music it's certainly not bad. I think if you want to take it to a next level you should just get a hang of how chord progressions work so you can add more complexity in a track. Good to hear one of your tracks again, was a long time since I heard one of them ;) Have fun experimenting with other tracks ;)

    Greetings johnny

    Hi,

I can definitively appreciate simplicity in music, as they are the melodies that we remember.

First and foremost I believe you have captured a very thoughtful sound, one that is very good. I enjoyed every minute (all three of them) of this song, yes it was simple, but it was also well defined and you kept working around that elegant melody. If this is your first song, I cannot wait to hear what you have in store for us later! Great track thanks for sharing! If I had to make one suggestion, it would be too check out some of the tutorials around the net on tweaking sound, they have helped me to learn to adjust my methods for the better, in particular the strings. as they are difficult for me.

It's about time you explore your own compositions... don't worry about the simplicity in chord structures of this piece, your arrangement is sublime. you have the (natural talent) ear for arranging music. I hope you learn as much as you can. My early compositions were simple chord structures. ( I just put one on looperman) I was fortunate to study in (college) music theory and to be exposed to many forms of music. But I will always remember that obsession I had with making music when I was 16. the same obsession you have, and don't worry about professionals and music theory majors in school, just follow your heart's desire of music when you can and enjoy what you create.

forgive me if persoanly I am a direct person .
who exactly as you have written in your profile ,
has used to be paritcular all the times .
hence ,i don't censor myself to say it's alittle spooney ?
very easy and simple notes of piano are not valuable enough
to can call this cinematic .
those violins are very dry and such vst using uses for
    kindergardens here in spain!!
hope you'll be better about compostion and equalizing soon.
keep working and don't give up .

Bueno, no todos son tan afortunados como t por poder estudiar msica y tener un buen equipo para componer.
Hago lo que puedo con lo poco que tengo. Pero claro, supongo que para una profesional como t, esto es slo una estupidez.

Pues, bueno... avanzo a mi ritmo.

Hi SoleilxLune....you know enough about music to convey some very pleasant Sunday evening listening over my way...it does have a touch of the meloncholy...but the lighter sounds & high strings keep it floating just above becoming sad (if you had added a cello it would have really come across much sadder)...I like it the way it is...not too meloncholy...but certainly thoughtful....You did very well...keep on doing it....Ed

Aww! Thank you very much for your words.
Well, I think that this one is very (extremely simple ._. )
I've not been able to compose these last weeks.
    University takes all my time.
Anyway, maybe I'll upload another song of mine soon.
Thanks for listening and comment :D

Description : Hi, I just had to try and do my own type of music tribute to the sad and unfortunate events in Manchester the other night

I start the song off with a type of music box to represent like a young child and then i go into a violin strings to try and set the sadness and then after a while i used some soft drum and clicks to represent time ticking and then with just the piano and then in the middle of the track it picks up pace a bit and i decided on this because to represent the strength of the people that will stand strong and i once again also put the music box in with this and my reason was to be strong for the rest of the children and then i finsh up with the piano again and the ending on the drum to remember the lives sadly lost and a type of silence if it were

i really feel so sadened by this event and it trully has me in bits

may we all come together and forever be strong and stand up to these horrible people who think they can destroy us and our children and families and loved ones

God Bless you all and stay safe and be strong

Description : Simple piano solo I wrote last weekend at about 3am! It's just using the default Garageband piano instrument with some reverb. Played on my M-Audio Keystation 61es in one take - yes I could have tidied it up bit its more honest leaving it as is.

I plan to create an orchestral version of this soon. Anyone got ideas to collaborate and do something interesting with this then get in touch.

Comments gratefully received and thanks for listening!
