I just realized you actually made the beat, I thought you made the whole song! haha, you mind uploading the instrumental? I honestly just like that more than the rap...

SeriouslyJoking replied 1st Apr 2015 - 11 years ago

Haha! Sure I can try to find it in my old daw and send the instrumental to you via the link from your profile here.
Or maybe even upload it here if I still like it my self...

Getting back to you sooner or later. Thanks for the appreciation!
Cheers/ SJ =)

again I'm back to this song, forgot the name to this site. Took me a while before I realized I could search my username on my gmail. Missed this song so much, haha. Thanks again.

Hi, toady I was searching for songs that have used some of my loops, and I have founded this.

The mixing was awesome and I like a lot how you remade it, also loved the vocals.

thanks for using my loop and keep up the good work! :D

Beautiful beat, good alarm clock beat to wake up to & get moving.

Much much better. I love the drums. Even the piano was made to be softer in the mix, bravo. nice use of phase effects at the end, also much more compressed sound.

SeriouslyJoking replied 21st Sep 2013 - 13 years ago

Good to hear, Steve!! Thanks for listening again. I kind of lost myself there with all the effects but one can always come back later and try again I guess. =D
Take care!

Spivkurl 12th Sep 2013 14:28 - 13 years ago

Hey, this is pretty epic! I like the synth heavy mix! The drums aren't bad, and I can hear that it's not supposed to be the focus of this track. Very cool stuff!

SeriouslyJoking replied 20th Sep 2013 - 13 years ago

Hi Spivkurl and thanks for stopping by - I remade the whole thing and changed the drums so now they are more in focus. Or that's what I hope...
Thanks for listening!!

Haha, I hear you make strange music too! What you got here is not failure, some parts sound interesting. Sometimes the synths get to be a little too much in my own opinion. Thats the only thing I can notice that loses me at parts while listening. Some dance rap fuse. Keep going! Peace.

SeriouslyJoking replied 3rd Sep 2013 - 13 years ago

Yes, I always end up doing really odd songs...this one is not even in a familiar genre so it's probably even worse than a little strange this time. Lol

Thanks for listening and for the review, noted about the synths.

crucethus 3rd Sep 2013 17:22 - 13 years ago

It's interesting, and you are right the vocals do fit, I would like to see a kick-##### beat (maybe syncopated?) over the jangly synths and piano stabs. Keep at it your on to something here.
Steve

SeriouslyJoking replied 3rd Sep 2013 - 13 years ago

Finally a comment!! Thank you Steve! =D
The drums are always really tricky for me, I almost never manage to make my own drums, it just doesn't work. So I'm going to seek some other drumloops to fit in then.

Maybe some changes in the melody also, it gets really boring after a short listen...

(Or then I'll leave this as it is - it's just one of those failures. Nobody is commenting which means it's probably no good. Ha ha ...moving on...)
Thank YOU for listening and commenting!

Electronic gothic track.
When I heard this acapella by ALAA EZZEDDINE I was really impressed. Ok, did lots of tweaking to make it sound properly and fit in the track. Actually his lyrics described what I have had gone through...
Enjoy and take care :) :) :)
