Hello Paulo!
hardcore meets apple core - swinging gnarly branches you are playing from here, brother!

Pretty sweet track. The classical influence makes me think of a sort of metal Yes.

melodic metal...great combo of sounds here XmafaX....I`m a fan of Nightwish for the same reasons I like this one...the combination of the lighter sounds and orchestral/synth elements just kicks it up into a musical journey for the ears & mind......really well done..enjoyed the listen.....Ed

The guitar and cello compliment eachother very well! A very creative track! Not what I expected to hear! Good work!

mrwolf14 24th May 2013 12:03 - 13 years ago

Good track XmafaX.
I like the way you mixed classical elements and metal ones.
As Danke mentioned, probably you could "merge" better the cello (work on the levels? add some reverb? you know for sure better than me how to achieve this).
Good Work! Are you sure it is no available on 180g vinyl?
Too bad! ;-)
Domenico

PS: if you should ever need some bass notes, just drop me a line

XmafaX replied 25th May 2013 - 13 years ago

Many thanks for your comment.
Maybe vinyl available in future :)
If you like to add some bass notes It would be great!
Thanks
Paulo

Very Nice... I can get into this...
There is so much music and styles on this site but I have to admit that I can only hear about 5 seconds worth of about 98 % of what I click on.
You are definitely in that 2 % that I will listen all the way trough and also download to hear over later . Thanks for the tune !

Paulo

we quietly can say, there is "XmafaX" style :-)

hope, there will be more mixing works (personally, cello is too much... and the bass's absence is "heavy")

anyway, I would buy your album but only on vintage LP :-)

best wishes, Danke

XmafaX replied 13th May 2013 - 13 years ago

Thanks for your construtive comment.
About vintage LP it isnt available :)

deciBel 13th May 2013 11:25 - 13 years ago

Well, just as I think you can't get any better you go and do just that. This track is just amazing. Beautiful mix of ambient piano, mellow pads, rock and metal guitar riffs. I love the way they just work together. Well done.

Drum And Bass

Description : I'm gonna file this under Drum and Bass due to the beats I used. Though it's probably not DnB in the strictest sense of the word, as it starts off with a Cinematic vibe till the beats kick in (apologies for that, as I don't have a vast knowledge of DnB!). Apart from the beats and a couple of other loops, all synth/bass parts are played by me using ThornCM, Poly Max and Z3ta+ vst's. Let me know what you think? All feedback is always appreciated. Thanks.
