Dave, I think OD hit the nail on the head....a bit like listening to Geddy Lee, and man that is a good thing.

It takes a great deal of courage and talent to sit down and record both vocals and guitar, and not use overdubs on the final product. You pulled it off and did yourself proud.

I can see myself sitting in a large arena, and you up in the spotlight playing your guitar and singing this song......

beautiful work.

Definitely one of the best songs I've heard in a while. I hope all is well.

Damn Bear! I would love to play for this audience for sure brother....You all come over here take your time and listen and I wanna come back for more great comments. The next one just begs to be better man. I really hope I can live up to the billing. I'm going to invest in myself and get professional recording of my best songs here soon. Cool track man!...some nice playing there and I do like the vocal timbre superbly balanced with a single instrument,you've obviously tracked this in one take and it has a very live small studio room tone,far from being a criticism it would be great to hear this developed into a more layered affair with the guitar and vocals done separately,however that isn't a necessity,it's very refreshing to hear some music played from the heart and with some real substance..big thumbs up! cheers Dave

This is just so dm good davepowell1....the lyrics...the vocal delivery...that superbly played guitar...and nice clean production....I don`t care much for comparisons...cause this is absolutely your song...but there were a couple of parts I caught a little Lennon or a touch of Rush....but I`m happy just listening to the way you do this...and gratefuil we still have these little communities where I can find the real music & leave the radio off......well done...Ed

...ok, im not gonna lie...
ill have to listen to this again to liten to the lyrics, because when youre playing that guitar, my mind shuts everything else out. its a true tour de force.
masterful.
this track has such an epic, RUSH-esque vibe to it.
