Anyway i thought i'd leave some more comments on this track as i like it and i especially like your French vocals.
Since i already left comments on this i won't bore you with another in depth analysis of what i'm hearing.
I'll just say that i enjoy it every time i hear it.

a) I wish I spoke French. b) You've got a dark edge in some of your pieces - this is the third I've listened to now and the second where that shadow fell early on. Oh man! I'm at the breakdown now, the bridge I guess, where the piano and bass do a little dance - LOVE THAT STUFF! And then your airy arias - beautiful. OK, here's that shadow again - I wish I knew what you were saying! Now I'm at the second break - mixed in with that orchestral chorus - oh, that's the end. c) Fantastic piece - I'd say this is getting right up there with "No Ace". d) I really really wish I could download your songs. I'm flying to Europe in a couple weeks and this is what I'd be listening to if I could. So you should reconsider your policy and let the music-starved hordes have their nourishment. e) You rock. I mean, seriously.

Finally something unique and different done with style. Love your vocals and and the creativity you brought to the track. Also really liked hearing you singing it in your native tongue.

Amazing track strings really lured me in the way it evolves from there is excellent has a nice soulful dark feel to it thats probably why i liked it so much wish i spoke french haha.

Janis: Just discovered your stuff as I was looking for some promising acapellas to work with. Haven't ever posted a comment here before, but I just had to say that I'm totally impressed by the musicality of your voice, the emotion in your performances, and the quality of the songs you have posted here. I LOVE the fact that you have posted songs en francais. French is the most musical language I think. Certainly, the most sensual. Promise me that when you get famous, you won't stop posting acapellas for the rest of us once in a while! :) I will definitely continue to monitor what you post (are you also on soundcloud?) And, if I get inspired and manage to use your acapellas in anything worthwhile, I will definitely post them here and let you know. I'm not very good at this yet, so I make no promises and I would not want to do anything that was not worthy of your talent.

Very, very impressive work. You have really nice control on your vocals, great pitch, and a commercial sound that most record companies would love to have on their roster. Almost an Annie Lennox/Amy Lee quality to your voice.

This is something a little different. it could have worked as a hip hop track but the vocal layering takes it off in a direction of it's own. You've kept it interesting with all the different break downs and drops and it's pretty epic in length as well.
I enjoyed stopping by for this tune.

Hi Janis...fantastic track!..you have a superb voice and I love the fact that you sing in your native tongue!..(there's far too many people(mainly Americans) who think English is'The'language of contemporary music)..you bring a lot of emotive presence to the table and it allows this song to breathe naturally and balances beautifully with the dynamic contours you've crafted..Splendid work!!!
