Hiya Mark,
Thank you! Your drums were just perfect for my wee song!
Not so sure about the voice lol, but it's the only one I have, so need to just run with it :p
Bears bass & Allen's guitars were a gift too!

MarieDailly replied 29th Sep 2012 - 14 years ago

Thanks Ed, & apologies, I thought I'd replied to this already! Going senile I think, lol!
Yup, helluva band, huh? & the only one who knew anything about it was AllenV, lol!
Thank you so much, this is one of the first songs I wrote, so I was pleased to get it out of my head, lol!

well, whatever you did the sound is crystal - cascading and coruscating - i wouldn't care if this was played over a phone - it's a really moving song with wonderful perfs all around - utmost respect, Marie

Thank you very much, that really makes me feel good, and gives me confidence to keep writing

Bonjour Marie ....

Always impressed by your ease of adapting your voice (at least that's what how I feel) ....
Again, I can only congratulate you on the choice of "artists" who worked, virtually here ....
It's excellent ....

Just the mastering is a bit different!

Fantastic Marie! I hear the improvements I see where you struggled through this from the last I hear how you reworked this... Good Work!

Brian

MarieDailly replied 23rd Jun 2012 - 14 years ago

Thanks Brian,
Its exactly the same mix, just mastered a bit differently.
My first mix had way too much bass & was buzzy, but I broke my headphones & was using cheapies, & couldnt hear the bass .
JoyfulWAVE helped me fix the mix, so its more his work, lol!
I'm learning bit by bit!
