Description : OK my friends, for me this my interpretation of some dark Dubstep mixed in with Big Beat and infused with a little bit of love for my Industrial stylings. Porbably not the regular flavour of this genre, but then again, I don't care! lol The track name and inspiration comes from my fascination with Lucid Dreaming. Hope some people find something in it and as always, comments are greatly appreciated. From the album "Without Any Reason At All".

I feel the glitch and industrial on this piece. Man the beat is bad ass brother. There are some real cool elements on here Paul that keeps me interested all the way to the end. Very good production, everything is so crisp and clear. Fantastic work brother, can't wait to hear more.

Reply by CyberSon Hey Pete thanks for taking the time my friend. glad you could get into it. I feel it is more of an industrial / glitch piece, which is kinda where I think dubstep may have spawned from? Anyways, many thanks my friend.

I'm definitely picking up on the industrial and big beat vibes; not so much the dubstep, but I really like the energy that is emitted from this track. Nice work Paul.

    Interesting drum patterns.

Reply by CyberSon Thank you my friend for taking the time. For me, the drums are more break / big beat, but that's in my blood :)

Reply by CyberSon Hey my friend. Thanks for checking this piece out. Yeah, it took a while, but I think I kind off lost the dubstep plotline and went a little bit more break beat / industrial?

Anyways, will defo check out your work. Many thanks.

Hey no problem, the words in the sample are "There is much to be done by this generation and those who will follow".

Aint a massive dubstep fan but knew coming from you it would have its twists...totally dig the glitching and rawness...nicely arranged man, good work!

Reply by CyberSon Wow my friend, I'm totally stoked by this comment. I seriously don't rate my stuff other than the fact that I try to do something a little bit different.

    Many thanks indeed!

LOL at Mstokes comment. I'm a big fan of lucid dreaming. This is an interesting piece...seems to me to be quite chaotic and almost anxiety provoking, while lucid dreaming to me was always a very smooth, deep experience. also wish you had used some more of the lower frequencies.

all in all not what I was expecting to hear..not really my cup of tea, but I have incredible respect for your musicianship. the drums in this are brilliant as well as a lot of the sounds. reminds me a bit of flying lotus without the bass. keep doing what you do, you clearly have something good going for yourself.

Reply by CyberSon Hey my friend, many thanks for stopping by and taking the time. Agreed! I didn't expect it to be everyones flavour of the genre.

Lucid dreaming for me is actually quite erratic and often bizarre (damn my brain) despite my efforts to control the dreams lol

Many thanks for your kind words my friend.

I love how you've incorporated industrial sensibilities into this track, it makes for an awesome fusion! Your morphing basses are too cool! That distorted vocal is weird, what does it say? Wild stuff my friend!
    CyberSon
Reply by CyberSon Thank you Sir for checking this out and recognising the fact that I've tried to encorporate my own style on this piece. OK, so the distorted vocal sample actually says "There is much to be done by this generation and those who will follow". Sounds like some crazy right wing recruitment advert to me!

Description : This is my effort for Static Nomads thread "make a track in the style of another looper" I chose Mr Funktastic because he's got so many cool loops. I just pinched one of his funky basslines and built around it. It's not as good as Joe does it but hey! It was fun to do something a little different from usual.
Description : Intense Breakbeat, could develop into 4 or 5 songs, lotsa guitars and metal and trance and other goodies...well just listen.
Description : Made with ableton live and massive! Cheers for the previous suggestions! https://www.looperman.com/loops/detail/58171
Description : here it is a quickly done mix for this demo//mash up electro clash sort of // with breakbeat // crunchy soundz and FX. Now this track needs collaborationS ! like a punchy vox and some keyboard skills. I may add some funky guitar at the very end ?? If some space still avaible in the mix...
Description : Hi guys! Just wanted to take a look at the wave form here on Looperman too...is it still a brick? This is just the second assignment for the Ableton Live course (you can read about it in the forums). Having issues with the compression, clipping and distortion. Edit2: Made an update and took away some audio effects and reduced others. Maybe it's sounding a little clearer now. Also added some midi tracks and rearranged the mix a bit.

Description : I wasn't going to upload this because it's a headphone mix. I'm moving house so the sound system is packed but i figured what the hell, I'll edit it later if it sounds like crap. Anyway, it's mainly synths with a few loops chucked in for good measure.

Description : BRICS, the new economic powerhouse of emerging nations Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. In the struggle for economic dominance will cooperation prevail regarding climate change and other issues of global importance or will it be business as usual? This track is a heavily sampled break beat melange featuring Russian vocalist Doctyabrev and excerpts of speeches in languages of the other three countries including Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Gandhi, and Marina Silva of Brazil. There's a whiff of Maceo's "Cross the Tracks" in there too. Much thanks to all the Looperman contributors including: Doctyabrev, fanto8bc, djnab, blueskies, buffalonugaluss, megapaul, and 7venth12. 100 bpm, key of E.

Description : This is my remix for Spivkurl's I Fall Down. A progressive breakbeat kinda track, quite short but to the point. Adding my own twist and sounds I feel like I was going back to my roots with this one. I haven't played this on anything but my monitors so hopefully the mix is still ok. Hope you enjoy anyway, thanks! You can find the original here:https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/175263
