Alice In Epicland - Jowe
13th Jun 2012 22:43 - 14 years ago
Description : Alice in Epicland is an old track that I just recently listen and decide to share.
It was done on reason using NNXT Grand Piano and Redrum (sorry guys, can't remember the awesome name of the drum kit).
This is the "accoustic" one because the original has bells instead of piano and sound way more mysterious. BUT I'm working hard to find the perfect bells.
I know that sometimes the grand piano in C2 octave seems to "rush its life", but it,s ok... it's one of my first complete songs, so please be indulgent ok?
Why Alice in Epicland? Because I tought it sounded like Alice in wonderland and that song was pretty epic to do, honestly. It is one of my first long song done on computer and I'm truly proud of it.I can easily build a dream on this song. How to exoplain it? Uhm, just imagine a ghost running toward you sreaming HELP ME and at the end of the song, you see it go disappears behind the walls... :)
PS:
Download now allowed, for personnal use as usual. :)

Description : For some odd reason, the titular acapella I used for this remix had vanished from Looperman. Luckily, I saved it before it disappeared.
Anyway, props to Stephanie Kay for this acapella! I've always wanted to remix Stars Collide, but I never got around to finally making a good instrumental for it. The acapella was akin to that of Genki Rockets' work (ESPECIALLY the lyrics), so I tried to retain the same vibe. Enjoy!

Description : This is a worship song celebrating God's beautiful creation, unfailing grace, and boundless love. It reflects on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the gift of salvation, and the light of God that shines even in the deepest darkness. It is a reminder to rise each day with gratitude and give praise to the One who saves, guides, and sustains us.

I like the way you vary the piano riffs to keep the track interesting and there's a lot of good ideas going on here.
Perhaps some bigger reverbs at some point throughout the tune would help add another level of depth.
All in all i enjoyed this so keep up the good work and thanks for the listen.
