Vraiment bon .... oups sorry .... really good. The tempo, to balance very well but a bit repetitive. You should find a nice soulful voice, to wrap all this, and perhaps follow the advice of Ed below.
This does not detract from the quality of the track of course ....
Hope all is well with you...Thank you for coming by and listening...this is and old idea from a few years ago...I have a very bad habit of starting projects and shelving them when i think too much about them.. i have several concepts in mind and i certainly agree with both Ed and yourself about the repetitive nature of the track...but i appreciate that the general consensus is that the track has potential.. Again thanks Dan for stopping by..your comment is very helpful
MStokes...thanks man for coming by and checking this idea out...and while it has a lot of elements left to put in i really appreciate your comment...as for the guitar...i pulled it up out my sound bank and played it on my midi controller...had a hell of a time getting it to sound somewhat like a guitar....talk to you soon
Now this is absolutely...why do I wanna say gorgeous WTHeck LOL.
The drive, the vibe, the energy...I can hear this on a Jazz CD!
I think the only thing that seemed to take away a bit was that hi hat hit throughout (not the closed one)? It happens too much for me. But that's just me! And the solo, right on!
Thanks for coming by and commenting on the track...this track has been on the shelf for a couple of years now and i was going through my files and ran across this..yeah i meant to go through drum track and level some parts but got distracted (my daughter hounding me for cash)!!lol so i forgot to fix it before i uploaded it...anyway i'm glad you liked the idea and you are certainly welcome for the download...by the way i have that last track finished and will upload with the DL...i also have an idea for one of your pellas that will be a suprise as i will not microwave this one.as your vocals for this particular track moved and inspired me to put some real work into this!! anyway...stayed tuned!!
I love where you are going with this one carlosnble...smooooth and catchy...and just invites some soulful vocal or some kind of little solo line that doesn`t overpower waht you already have...only thing I might suggest:..In spite of how much I like the 2 chord prog here...you really need to vary the prog or key somewhere along the line to kick this one up to its potential...sounds like Bm - Em all then way..maybe a move to Am-Dm for a little bridge section would do the trick....anyway...its dm good listening anyway and gotta say I enjoyed this big time....keep it going....Ed
Hey Ed...thanks for coming by and listening...i appreciate your comments and i've been thinking of several variations some complicated and some some subtle..i was also thinking about transposing this piece and add another dynamic all together with a sax solo then bringing it back around...trouble is i think too much istead of letting the song come to me...what ends up happening is, i shelve it...but i sure appreciate the suggestion...i guess i will bring it back up for more consideration then...i'm glad you liked the basic idea

Description : Every instrument is performed and recorder live. Piano, double bass, drums.

-"WELTMEISTER" upright piano (MADE IN GERMANY in 1938)
-"KAY" upright bass (MADE IN GERMANY somwhere in 1950th)

I just put together some old ideas to see if it will work. Some vocals and brass, or guitars is clearly needed. Let me know what you think about it. Tnx
Description : Do not freak out just because this is jazz! There's also blues, rock, funk and a little hip hop in it to break up the deep, chillout jazz sections - gets particularly rocking then funky at the end. Main bassline (the track's foundation) is recycled leftover slide resonator guitar parts detuned one octave to make a slide bass sound. Also features: piano, violin, hammered dulcimer, organ, ethereal pad guitar, bass guitar, jazz/blues/rock electric guitar and multiple programmed acoustic drumkits. This was difficult to make at times as I thought I needed more leads parts eg from sax or trumpet. But I'm happyish with the end result. I expect very little interest in this as it's both jazz and long jazz. But it's also an unusual type of genre-mixing jazz. So, leave your thoughts, good or bad, if you like...
Description : I think it's a late evening song to accompany you for a single drink.
Jazzy in most of the aspects. It is made single handedly so please consider it an experimentation for the thrill of making music.
Hope you will like it.
Description : This track made me just stop working on it and listen to it for enjoyment.
Smooth Mellow funky Jazz. Uses: 0111003-djrumplestiltskin-swung-funk-drum-beat, 0087009-mrroads442-guitar-line, 0072485-michiel555-mellow-funk, 0058934-ferryterry-90-bpm-soprano-sax. Is this Funk or Jazz?
Description : This track contains only free loops from Stayonbeat.com and several loops from Looperman artists (listed below). I "made a promise" that my next track will be use a lot of jazzy loops - well, i done with this track, for the great sadness of jazz lovers or experts i think - i fear they will never forgive me. :) While my ISP launches my internet out of the Earth system for a long time, i had to face the fact that i dont have too much downloaded jazz loops on my computer, so i think no wonder that this one is sounds like if i smoke some marihuana while making it. But hey, who cares, i like the result - it reminds me the (maybe only) really funny episode of "Breaking Bad", where Pinkman uses some heroin and flyes up with an idiotic smile on his face - that chapter is priceless. :D
I dont think this one needs a vocal, but ofcourse you can use it if you want, and as always, just write and i will give any support as i can. Any feedback welcomed too as always. Enjoy! UPDATE 2015.10.24.: improved audio quality - lower lows, higher highs. Now in 256kbps!

Description : Something a bit different from us. I (Bobo) played guitar, synth, midi bass and percs to this piano loop by LM's most excellent Rasputin. Wataya, stoned as usual, thought he heard Barbara Streisand singing. This is the result.
Description : I created a hip hop groove in Logic and decided to duel some Saxophones. I am playing the Baritone sax on the left pan and the Tenor Sax on the right pan.
I added some bells like a boxing match bell to give it a fight drama feel. The hip hop track itself is dope to me. The duel is cool too. Who won?
