Description : Just something i've cobbled together over the last few days. There's a few parts that i'm umming and arring about so i just wanted to see if anyone else picks up on the same things really.
It's a funky, electroish, housy, techno kind of thingy that chops about from one thing to another whilst keeping a constant rhythm line throughout. I think it's got kind of a fun vibe to it so i'm definitely going to carry on working with it. In the mean time, here's a first draft. PS sorry about the one random swear word. It was the only vocal sample i had that seemed to fit.

couldnt find a melodic loop to fit the track
figured out the key
the harmony basically matches the melody
probably in some dorian scale or something so
have to learn about that
the drums are my weakest point
good at the start but awful after the beat drop
please comment any songs to listen to to learn drums in this style
any advice please comment

Description : As I was in Berlin recently I was inspired by the Beachhouse Radio from FluxFM . I had a beat lying in a cupboard for years and it was time to do something with it. Together with the great voice of Odarka I did setup a beat that does have a deep feeling to it. I kept it raw and unmastered for now. Let's see where it goes.

Description : This is straight up Witch House. This is a more "sensuously spooky" remake of the older CBC track I did titled, Lost You Baby. I have no idea what language the lyric track is. This track definitely has the atmosphere of the genre it represents. It's a regular witch house poster child. So if you're not familiar with the genre, Here ya go.

As to the track.. ummmm.... arrrr... There's plenty going on that's for sure. I bet this has had a few hours put into it.
I'd say it needs more low end really!
Other than that, I'd say it's all good in the hood :)

It's ridiculous really. It's a bit like climbing everest and then saying "screw this" when your one hundred feet from the summit.
