Description : I didn't intend on making another EDM drum loop but I was trying out a new kit I made for Kong and the swing and groove of this just grabbed me. I have used Chili Clip to pump it up a bit , but other than that (and Reason's buss compressor) the loop is just Kong doing its thing.

Description : Using Kong today, mostly to work out how to get the damn pads on my Launchkey to play the pads on the on-screen sampler (which is automatic in Ableton Drum Racks...good one Reason). The secret was custom pad mapping through the Novation Components app. Finally Kong is like my SP-606 to use. I'm rambling ... enjoy the drum loop.

Description : Percussion time. I made some bongo-type kits for Kong and recorded these nice swung patterns. They need the kick drum added before they come to life, but i will leave that to you! Reverb is a room reverb from Exoverb.

Description : Made with good old Kong, using a new kit I made for hiphop and similar styles. I guess this loop is more trip hop the hip hop abut there you go. I used Reason's channel compressor agressively on this loop to make it punch.

Description : Inspired by a trip away to the coast for some R&R (and lots of fishing) I made these couple of trap beats for you. Made with Kong, NN-19 and Air Windows Tape Saturation. I don't usually do anything for the trap genre so I hope I got the feel right!

Description : A nice little FX loop made with Kong in reason. After looping, I used a stepped filter and a trancegate to add extra movement to the loop. Now it can be used as a layer in trance, EDM, techno or psy music. Enjoy.

Description : For these two house beats I sampled a couple of silly little grooves from my Casio and chopped them up in ReCyle, then combined them with punchy house drums from Kong. The lo-fi feel just comes from the Casio because it is a genuine 80s bit of kit.
