Now, regarding the mix quality, I'd focus on improving the hi ends and low ends, right now the mix is very flat. I would also play with the panning more, maybe the "you can do" panned left and the "you can do it" panned right.
Also, consider working with reverb and delay on parts like: "fight".
If you don't have major budget or software try an inexpensive program. I know it's hard to work a job for cash, take care of family, learn software, write songs, so consider hooking up with someone who is an engineer, and split some of your costs, etc.
But overall, the song has GREAT potential, the idea is very hot, just need to tweak it and keep what works and drop what doesn't.
