Description : I posted this song some time back, but removed it after I entered a consultant agreement on the video with machinma.com. I decided to alter it so I could retain the rights to my music and give it away free. It is a song I made for a portal machinima video. Description : Here is a song I made last year for one of my machinima videos. It is probably my favorite song I have done so far, but the least popular of my videos. I kind of over did it with the filters on my vocals, but I wasn't comfortable singing at the time. I hope you will enjoy it.
Description : I am pleased with my current momentum for making music. I made this one in only 2 days. I probably could have used a few more takes on the vocals and some more mastering of instrument levels, but I am trying to break the habit of obsessing over the details, so I just called it done.

Description : Here is my 2nd finished song. After you guys gave me such nice comments on my first I was anxious to get another one done. This is a fairly short song. It has kind of a modern horror movie soundtrack sound to it I think. I wasn't sure what genre to label it, so I will just call it weird, because you probably will too, haha. I composed the whole thing, all the instruments. A couple of the instruments are made from sounds I recorded myself. For instance the long spooky sounding high pitched whine was originally me running my finger around a wine glass. I used Digital Orchestrator Pro, Cool Edit Pro, and FL Studio 8 (demo version). Description : Here is the latest song I have been working on. It is missing vocals for the chorus. I didn't quite get them the way I wanted them on the first couple recording sessions, and I just got burned out on working on the song. Description : After spending all of my 2 days off of work recording vocals for this track I have finally given up and decided just to post it without them. I just can't seem to sing the pitches I want to consistently, and I am very obsessive about quality in art works that I take seriously. It was meant to be a song about addiction and the chorus was going to start with "This is our last date my poisonous friend". I decided just to use the idea for the title, even though it doesn't have the vocals. If anyone is interested in trying to sing it, I would be happy to give the lyrics to you to give it a shot. Just ask in a review and I will put them as a reply. I chopped up and edited a drum loop off of an old Data Becker sample CD I bought from Comp USA, 8 years ago, when I first thought about trying to make music but just didn't take the time to learn to do it. It has the record player static in the loop, it is meant to be there, I liked how it sounded for this song. Other then that I did everything else in FL Studio 8. I hope you enjoy it, and sorry for failing at vocals for this one, it would have been spectacular with them.
Description : I think you will like this one! I have decided to stop concerning myself so much about vocals and just enjoy making the music. This is the first track that I have made that was intended as an instrumental and wasn't built around potential lyrics that I had in mind. Instead, on this track I decided I wanted to try creating a decent old fashion sounding steel guitar riff with my midi keyboard and some old soundfonts I have collected. I worked in some Sytrus action (like I love doing) and some cinematic sounding cello and choir. I really started liking how the digital instruments were sounding along with the traditional ones so I thought I would just go with it. Hence the name of the track. I hope it sounds as good to you as it did to me while I was making it. Please let me know what you think.
Description : I spent several hours on this one and I am pretty proud of it. I orchestrated the whole thing using FL Studio 8. I meant to make a song using some loops from the site, but I just got caught up in messing with my midi keyboard that I just went with it.
I feel it does a pretty good job at expressing the emotion that many of us experience when life seems to get mundane and frustrating. I am considering putting together a video to go with it using a bunch of various time lapse footage of things like traffic, offices and such. I hope you enjoy it. Please let me know what you think.

Description : This is another song I did for a machinima video. I was hesitant to put it on Looperman, simply because the lyrics probably won't make much sense to anyone who isn't familiar with the characters from Half-Life 2. Hopefully you will like it regardless.
Description : This was a collaboration project with Chimpyguy878. He made some terrific instrument tracks that I feel I kind of ruined with distortion and effects. I had a whole song of lyrics written, but after over a week of working on the song, the vocal work still felt terrible. I spent to much time on this song. My ears ache and it ended up just sounding too overworked. I felt I should post it, none the less, because I spent so much time on it.
Thank you very much Chimpyguy878 for your help and input. I wish I could have made the vocals work with it as I had planned. I hope I didn't tarnish your instruments too bad.
Description : I decided to just goof around and make a song in only 1 day, just to loosen up a little. I just picked a funny, off the wall topic and went with it. It was therapeutic for me, because I usually spend more then a week on each track with vocals. It has taught me that I do not need to waste the time over doing it. Enjoy the Waffles.
Description : This is much more loud and aggressive then what you are used to from me, but I think it is the best way to convey the message. Besides, that is the kind of music I like to listen to, so I had to eventually make something like this.

Description : I haven't created a song in a couple months now. I am a bit rusty (hence the title). I have been messing around trying to get a selection of instruments together so that I may start creating a more consistent style of music (though I have no idea what genre it will end up being related to).
This is something I kind of threw together today to try to get an idea of how some of my instruments will work together so that I may begin tweaking them. I may end up working more on it and adding vocals, but I haven't decided yet.
I would really love to hear some technical feed back. I have the feeling it my either have to much treble or compression. I would love any nit picking advice you are willing to offer on it.

Here is my latest song. It has been a while since I have finished one, so I am out of practice with the whole procedure. The message and vocal style will probably seem a lot harsh to most people, but I am fairly pleased with how it turned out. This is certainly closer to the kind of music that I prefer to listen to then most of my past songs.

Description : I watched a movie trailer today which had music that helped remind me how important the music is for setting the mood in films and such. It inspired me to make a quick track of trailor type music for a dark, strange type movie. Not that I make movies or music for them, but it was a fun idea to play around with. I hope you enjoy it.
