Description : The music for this song was created by Scottmusic, titled INFUSION. Scott was kind enough to let me put words to it. It is a story about a band of warrior that travel through the forest and come upon the epic Crystal City that is under attack. I doubled the tracks to make it longer in order to tell the story, and added just a hint of piano in the verses. This track first started on my keyboard at the end of March 2014. Around the same time, I had some hard time with my personal life (see My dad is stronger than Chuck Norris). As it wasnt enough to have my dad at hospital, another sad personal event occurred in the same week. At that point, I had the choice between crying OR take that Keep calm & Play piano attitude. Choice was easy, I played piano for hours wait, for weeks and finally ended up with a WIP.
From that moment until few days ago, I worked on one of my favorite epic experimental / hybrid cinematic track so far.
Warning: There is panorama in the track and some sounds could have less impact using a cellphone. Sounds great with laptop but you might have to turn up completely the volume. For a better experience, please listen with desktop or headphone.
Description : It's the end of the War Against Humans, and the robots have won. As the robots became more and more emotionally intelligent, they experienced grief, and many of them became addicted to machine liquor. As they walk together in the rain, amid the rubble of civilization, a drunken robot sings along to the victory music with his straight-laced friend and the girlbot who hangs out with them.

I created every melody and chord pad in this using a synth, starting from a sine wave and moving from there. Some of the percussion started that way too. Once I laid down the percussion, I played in the rest of the chords and notes by hand on my keyboard.

I also read a chapter about mixing, and then used that new knowledge to place the instruments up, down, back, front, left, and right using a spectrum analyzer and filters. That was a new and really exciting experience for me.

I'm categorizing this as cinematic, because the music represents a story.
Description : Now I don't usually put a track I have that's still under construction but this one is an exception since its for a contest by Dan (Midisparks). It was mainly inspired by this picture: http://audiosparksforart.com/project/awakening-your-senses/ The competition is to compose a track for one of the pictures provided by the website during November and seeing that we're reaching the end of November I decided to put this "in progress" piece up. Now the picture was taken by a previous musician so I don't think I qualify for the contest but it was fun to do something like this so I'm sticking with the deadline to give it some listening time.... It is a cinematic soundtrack style track mainly designed using a combo of long sustaining strings with rapid melodic piano and spiccatos, or plucked strings. Trombone at the end. Instruments fading in and out is also a theme of this track. Transitions and other support instruments that I would like to have are still missing. Done in the key of D#. And thanks to Dan for this cool idea.
