Description : Funky sort of bassline generated with the Roland JX08 mini synth. Sounds pretty dry at the moment buy just add some FX for a bit more movement. Very weighty sound by the tiny box. Recorded in Audacity tested in Reason.

Description : I’ve been sampling the Yamaha V50 today. This sample comes to life once you put it over a 4 to the floor kick and do some filter sweeps over it. Very atonal so should work with most other psy or tech sounds. Recorded in Audacity and tested in Reason.

Description : This is a combination of Koala Sampler and Ableton's Drum Rack. I've been trying to make loops that are less obvious repetitions by using a trance gate on the output. Some of the results are pretty cool, like this one. Try it over a 909 kick drum!

Description : This is an old one that I have used in quite a few live sets over the years. It's quite haunting but sits nicely over the top of more bouncy basslines, especially psytrance. No extra FX besides the over-the-top reverb built into the V50.
