Always great to hear chillout tracks whether it's chillstep, chillhop, chilltrance or anything chilled.
Love the guitars in the beginning.
I would introduce the track first just with the Ocean waves and then slowly fade in the guitars/ukulele, then percusiions, and finally the drums.
Then I would start to break them up a bit, as in stop the drums but let the other instruments carry on, maybe a break in the middle then just let the waves and pads carry on then bring the percussions back in etc. Because as it is, it can become repetitious and you can lose the listeners interest.
This of course is just my humble 2 cents opinion.
Keep going brother as you are! A promising creation. Namaste! - B
I was thinking to go forward with the same idea and will go for that. Will introduce some new variations using piano or guitar or some other synth as well.
Actually I was worrying for the same stuff that it may repeat itself. So I just uploaded a shorter part here.
Thanks for listening.
And Namaste! again.
BTW do you know Hindi..??
A good start Peril94.
I would start adding some pads in the background later on to fill the empty spaces a bit.
While sampling the joker, try finding a sample of him laughing, then put it in when there is a drum break, or on a buildup just before you drop the bass/drums again.
I am very impressed with this track of yours.
Your choice of loops blends together effortlessly and they are all in agreement with each other.
Oh and your voice and lyrics are just TOPS! You have just the right reverbs on it.
I notived the drums too especially the claps, the reverbs too was a nice touch on that. Outstanding work here! You just keep getting better! Blessings! - B
Wow! What a professional and incredible track!
Mate you are talented!
The piano's in the intro really reminded me of Linkin Park songs. Then the build up until the drums kick in and you just take the listener away. This track really stirs the soul in a positive way. I can only think of this title as the track built up "On The Verge Of A Miracle". I hope you find success here for vocal/singers collaborations.
God bless u brother. - Billy
It's a good RnB track, kinda groovy and laidback vibe to it.
You could probably repeat the chorus right before the end and maybe somewhere in the middle but you have to work that around the rappers verses.
Welcome to the loop by the way. You can also upload your vocals in the acapella page and get more collaborations that way too! God bless! - B.
This is one smoking hot track brother Smoky!
I downloaded some of your amazing loops and decided to hear your work, I was not disappointed.
Just the first 55 secs alone was awesome. I really liked the drums on this one.
Keep up the great work man. Blessings. - B
That is one funky happy robot dancing his heart out when no one is looking! :)
Man this is good. A lot of ideas rolled into one!
Enjoyed this little tune of yours brother!
Keep creating! - B
This is s very relaxing track Doudei.
Kinda what you would play after many hours of heavy dnb and dubstep to ready your ears again for the outside world.
Keep at it man. - B
Woah! Those bass sounds(reverbs) really move my speakers.
Looks like you've got the main bones of the track, I would probably add pads or strings or both to give it a fuller sound. Keep at it brother! - B
Brother Patrick, this is outstanding work. It is unique. I was thinking of 'what would Basement Jaxx come up with when locked inside a laboratory for a few days?'...and it would be something like this!
Great experimental work on the vocal samples too! Faved and downloaded.
Hello friend, and thank you so much for the great comment and the fave! It was a really good experience making this song, and it had some healing effects on me. Hoping that flows into others who listen to it. Basement Jaxx is something I've only barely listened to, but I take it as a compliment. The word laboratory keeps coming up in my life these last few days, it's kind of strange. Maybe it's from working in a lab for so many years or something. The vocal clips were like found objects for me, and I like that sort of thing. They expressed what I intended pretty well. Thanks much for listening and leaving your words!
What a soothing and gentle track here brother Behnam!
I sense a lot of sentiments with this track. She must have been a very special person! :)
The percussion drums was a good choice as it is not overbearing. The piano itself reflects a special moment in time. The mandolin places you into that moment in time. And the strings in the background holds everything together. And looking back, it is a beautiful memory captured in sound. A soothing track to the soul. Well done. - Billy
Hello Billy , and first appology for my absence & late reply.
many thnx for attention , & time to share your idea as comment with me & us .
the phrase of '' beautifull memory captured in sound '' in your comment is remarkable , memorable & what I'll remember that from U , even beyond looperman . .
a friendly smile & appreciations again.
best wishes.___B
This is different. DNB was one of my early favourite genres - Goldie, Grooverider, etc
I like anything with flutes. Good buildup and introduction before the main drums kick in at 1.40. Then the quiet parts again, I would have carried on with the synths here(or another pad) from the busy section before or have them going at a lower level then fading it up incremently.
But DnB brings back many memories for me and your song definitely did. Thanks for sharing. - B
You have a great ear for 80's music, those retro synth sounds take me back to the early days - no cellphones, no ipads, no computers, no playstations - just the world outside the house to be discovered.... B :)
Thnx for checking it out. I love your comment! Sorta how I tried to capture an 80's vibe through music, you captured it in words :] Thnx again for the listen.
Nothing wrong at all with this piece. My ears are still okay and my speakers are ok. Good touch on the breaks in between allowing for breathing spaces and ear rest. Chilltronic is what it is. Stay blessed! - B
Hi there MightyMemphis. You have outdone yourself.
This is a well crafted track. Loved how you progressively built the song up from the beginning. It has a drive to it and the vocals are well placed throughout.
I especially liked that female backing vocal in the background as opposed to having another pad/synth to fill up the empty spaces.
Overall, this track has a 'good' feeling to it. It reminded me of this old band 'The Walllflowers' for some reason. Thanks for sharing your wonderful work. Stay strong brother! - B
Another great track from the creative mind of El Stevo!
I keep thinking of Johnny Clegg and Savuka when listening to this beautiful tune.
Loving the strings that kick in at 1.47.
Has a sunny and upbeat feel to it. Refreshing like cold coconut water!
Amen. - B
ShortBusMusic has some cool loops and I have been wanting to try something with them for a long time, this was a very hard thing to try and do and I am pretty pleased with the out come, cheers again mate much appreciated :)
Thank you for sharing your talents with us.
This track is amazing!
When I heard the rainforest sounds in the beginning, it reminded me of when I used to do the same thing with some of my early songs.
It builds up and the change at 59secs was just inspiring and hey I love flutes man, that was great. The atmosphere/feeling lost it in the middle there for me, but I knew you were just expressing yourself, but then you brought it back at 2.42, then I was feeling awesome again.
This track would be awesome for a Martial arts movie man - "Crouching tiger, Hidden Dragon 2" , in my humble opinion.
Please forgive me for my rudeness, I cannot believe I am barely replying to this wonderful message . I have no excuse nor I will try to make up one. I accept full responsibility , but if you can find it in your heart to forgive me , I promise it will never happen again. Thank you for being so thoughtful and kind . Please stay in touch! Much love -EazyBeatz :)
Greetings to Germany!
When I saw the title of your track - I think of Bruce Lee, and sure enough you put a sample of him in the intro.
Love Bruce, love the old school vibes!
Good work brother.
Looks like you spent a lot of time on this track.
I hear a lot of samples too throughout.
Well my PC speakers are holding out allright until the really heavy bass kicks in like at 4.20, then my speakers start to get muddy. But I'm sure you have tested this track on various type of speakers too.
You're doing great Sniper especially for your second song. Hope you get a rapper/singer collab.
God bless man. - B
Thanks man for the comment, I did try my hardest on this track but I think I could maybe work for 110%. Hopefully starting on a new track and yes, getting a rapper collab would be great. Do you know anyone on looperman looking for a collab?
The track title caught my attention. Maybe because I have seen the movie 'Limitless'.
Good fade in of everything in the beginning and builds up until the beat kicks in. Love that instrument at 0.35, is that a glockenspiel synth?
Great lyrics and chorus. The piano riff holds the listener interested and makes this track radio friendly.
I personally would have repeated the chorus right at the end to remind the listener what the track is all about.
All in all, well done Courtney and The Riot! Inspiring! - B
Hi Dakota. Your music has a special aura about them.
I still listened to some of your old stuff now and then in my Looperman Compilation albums.
They certainly take the listener on an intergalactic journey, away from the chaos that is planet Earth.
The beat is not overwhelming, giving way to the pads and synths to speak to the individual soul, I love it man!
Faved and downloaded. Thanks for sharing your excellent expressions. God bless u man. - Billy.
This is great work Ben. There is so much talent here on Looperman and I think you're among the top. This is just laidback beautiful.
That's some great work on getting the reverbs right, gives the whole track a special atmosphere. And I picked up on the percussions too, lurking there in the background.
Top work Ben. and greetings to the good people of Zambia. Peace man. - Billy
Dude Bob is a Legend and thank you for keeping his memories alive. You have brought him back into the digital age with respect.
I grew up with his music and he will always lurk within my memories when I lay down poetry on paper. Also Minor2Go has some amazing loops. Props to him as well. Faved!

I am definitely feeling the bass drums.
There is a sense of urgency in this track as is confirmed by the title. Good touch at 1.37 pulling the drums back then bringing them in again at 1.53.
Just need a good message(lyrics) in there to be the cream on this cake. Well done Jay. Blessings. - B

It is not overbearing but supports the poem.
The piano touches that comes in later adds an element of self awakening for the listener in that we are all sacred.
The whole song has been crafted with deep emotions and will stand to linger in the reverbed minds of the listener for many days to come.
