That was simple and awesome.
The vocal chants in the beginning really set the scene of feudal Japan for me and the tribal tom drums too, very Asiatic. A good beat holds the two sections together, quite evident was that woodblock sound.
Yes you brought back memories of Kurosawa's epic samurai movies for me.
I think we are on the same page with the Cherry Blossoms -
Thank you Billy! Sorry for the late reply. I'm glad you could see exactly what I was trying to set up in this track. I really try to paint a picture with my music and you got it perfectly. Thank you for your kind words.
-Pep
Thanks so much for the kind words. I believe it may need a little tweaking in some parts. If it made you daydream and feel somewhat inspired or moved, then I'm glad. I'm grateful and want to really inspire and move people with music. I want to greatly improve my track making ability. I'm currently working on one that is a combination of about 3 genres. Orchestral /classic, industrial, and dubstep. I think it will seriously get you going when I'm done. Anyway, thanks again. Have a beautiful day!
Thank you man. Your input peaks my interest for sure. I agree the energy is off the charts angry. Better expressed in art than crime. The final edit was completely spread out rather than one tidal wave of f*%# you lol. Magix cut me off at 12:11am central standard time yesterday I almost fell out of my seat with shock lol was so funny.
WOW Jay. This is awesome work!
Man you been a member for 7 months and this is your first upload. I'm sure you have more tracks there in your vault.
Good touch on the synths fading in. Love the guitar stabs that hooks you in. You have chosen a really deep lyrical poem, I am sure that it resonates within your soul. Powerful man!
Good break there around 2 min. Some house music never have breaks in between, all dancers need a little breather. As this is such a great dancefloor tune.
Hey well done Jay and thanks for using the poem.
Give feedbacks on other people's work and they usually will return the favour. God bless u man! - Billy
You're right, this is a deep song.
Well mixed and love the bass,I think you have right balance.
My only thing was it ended too quick - would love to hear the whole thing.
Thanks for sharing, peace brother. - B
Haaa...Billy, what an interesting view and observation on this one and very positive indeed! Colab work with Ed always gives me the oportunity to stretch and boost my imagination.
His work is always an important platform, allowing me to develop my musical abilities to the new heights. I hope we will be making some more in the future.:)
Yeah, "intergalactic jazz piece"...this is really spirited description and thank you so much for taking the time to listen and posting this delightful comment!:)
A great song that reflects the coolness of Autumn that I am starting to feel around this way (chilling out). The lyrics are deep too - "What is real never fades" , could not have said it better.
All the best - Billy
Hey Ray,
Loving the funk guitars and that bassline is a good one too.
I see that you have and used a great collection of vocal samples. Looperman is a good place to be!
Keep it up. - Billy
This is just too beautiful Steve.
Oh that guitar just carries me away to a better life that we dream of.
And that bassline too was just a perfect match to the rhythm of the whole track.
You been working some Magix too I see. Inspiring!
Billy my man thank you for coming in and listening, I have been listening to your new tracks and magix is very addictive but you mate have cracked it because those tracks are awesome.
Wasn't too sure what was happening in the beginning segment. I feel that you could recompose it to flow into the second segment which is awesome, just like the last segment. A track with potential! - B.
Yeah maybe I should, it doesn't really fit in that great ;/ But I am glad you like the drop with wobbles. But this track was to see how you guys would enjoy a song kinda like this and to see if it could offer something good. When I get to working on something like this again I will keep the advice in mind ;)
Thanx for your kind comments. You should defo do some singing, if your voice is as good as your poetry. I'm really loving your new tracks and playing them all the time.
Started off with the basic drum then the synth kicked in at 30secs, and I thought this track is worth listening to.
Yes I thought the vocal could come down just a bit but maybe the vocal effect is doing that. Good break in the middle and that drum is keeping the track constant. Loved the last quarter of the song.
I think it is only strange because I don't understand the French language. But it is good still. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Billy! Thanks for the advice. I wasn't sure about the vocals level when I mixed the track. This is now fixed. And another thanks to like it, even if you don't understand French.
Very deep wise words and lyrics here Dre.
Friends come and go but family stays, truth!
Good track too and love it when the bass kicks in.
Keep it up man! Respect - Billy
Hope you're well and life is treating you kindly.
You will be a mother soon and new inspirations will surely flourish.
I hope you keep up your writing and continue to grace us with snippets of your voice at your convenience.
BTW - This was a good track and in particular the guitar I enjoyed. I am sure there is a full version somewhere among your compositions.
Be kind, stay strong, look to the sun and your shadows shall fall behind. Blessings.
Definitely mellow and gloomy sad. Yeah can't do much when it rains especially if you work outside.
Try to drop in a rain sample probably on the intro or fade it in at 2mins. But good drum compositions you have going on. :)
Amazing track here Mr.Curve.
Good phasing intro, love it when the bass kicks in at 40secs.
Enjoyed your work with Stephanie's vox. I think Kanye West would have produced something like this.
Welcome to the Loop! Thanks for the download.
Amazing tune again! - Mr.Billy.
Billydragon1 - I thought I had replied to your comment already, must've not it the post reply button. Thanks for the welcome, I look forward to working with fellow Loopermans such as yourself and creating many cool songs. I will try to post a new song every week...so far i've posted 3 because I have some i've already created. Hope you enjoy.
Always up to listen to what other Magix users are doing.
There's that gap there after the first segment, I probably would have fade the second part in. Anyway love the second segment there bud, wish it was longer.
I appreciate the input man. The basic idea is life in motion then a dramatic stop or pause representing the attack on it and the moment of choice. It was my way of setting up the listener to respond to the surviving heartbeat at the end of the track. I also really like creating anticipation for the next movement. Longer would have been good I agree, this was more experimental. Thx again for the advice.
Wow, this is what Garageband can do!
This is dynamite brother. I'm impressed. Especially at 1.23mins, the rise then boom in your face.
Awesome work mate. Favourited!
Keep it up man.
Thank you. To be honest, this was more of an experiment, trying to find out how to make the most distorted sound out of the Analog Mono synth, but glad you liked it.
A truly epic track. I love how you keep building the track up, the drums start to pickup at 2.15, and then carrying the listener to the climax at 4.16 and then gently closing it down at the end. This is freedom, we must grab it at all cost.
Meanwhile back at Castle : "Hello, is that you Becket?"
Great work mate. I was curious what DAW did you use for this?
An enjoyable track here Mark, smooth and carries the listener along.
I really enjoyed that drumbeat too that comes in at 0.33.
I see myself cruising along to this in my Lamborgini(in my dreams of course, lol).
Dig those old tracks out! Love to hear them.
nice to hear from you and glad you liked this early track from me. I wasn't 100% certain about the drums at first, but instinct said go with it. I certainly intend to air some of the early stuff (for better or worse)! Hopefully you will listen from your Lamgorgini!!! thanks again for your time and comments Billy.

The beginning actually took me on a journey into outer space.
Loving the ambience and the little nuances dropped in between.
And the piano playing introducing the main instrumental and marrying the two pieces together. And the nice touches with the brass.
And I was thinking, this is like an intergalactic jazz piece. Just wonderful floating into the ethereal of outer dimensions. Beautiful cuz!
Keep it up! - Billy.
