on Illuminati Hip Hop Banger by DeLaBeatz
Well done DelaBeatz.
A very inspiring track. I recognize that speech straight away as I have used it myself. I am enjoying the bass very much.

So keep writing tracks like this man. We have to raise up a standard against the Military industry complex. May God give you more skills and wisdom. Peace. - Billy

on fight the fear by DanGoldstein
I am enjoying the sense of urgency that this track creates especially from 0.45

Just a thought, maybe add in thunderous orchestral drums from 1.30 to create a sense of war/battlefield environment, should go well with the distorted guitars.

Keep up the good work brother Midi. - Billy

on Im Born again by Coopy
Very well crafted song and lyrics.
Are you singing here?
I would just bring the vocals levels a little down and maybe give those beats a bit more of a punch. Take care man. - B

on Undone track feat Shai Dawn by ElenaSatine
I would probably keep the vocal and beat.
And drop the whole synths, and change them.
They don't seem to work in harmony with each other.
Lots of dubstep loops here at Looperman.
Trial and error them and soon you will have somethings working sweet!

Keep going forward. Blessings! - B

sorry I don't understand you !
I'm sure everything is in harmony with the other things!
I'm not sure if you're right or not !
but I respect your idea too .

on asian dubstep by pishgam
Salam there Iranian brother. This was a high intensity track.

I find the track very busy. I feel that you need to drop back some instruments every now and then and allow other instruments to move then bring them together again. Just by looking at the waveform of your track, I can deduce that. Maybe a break at 2.07 and do like you did at 3.14 for a few bars before you get busy again.

Anyways good work, hope you get a singer that will put a positive message to your work. Take care man. - B

on Peace by DinaPourpre
Great work here Dina. Did you play the piano yourself or are these loops/presets. I found your composition very calming and allows one to think as well.

That was a good addition of the strings at 1.13. Strings are like pads, they can feel up the background while the piano speaks to us. And the 'jungle animals' fx at the end was a nice touch. Reminds us humans that we are the ones fighting our own, whereas animals do not.

I would only add that the intro silence would probably be better if it was used to fade in the piano. :)

Take care my friend. - Billy.

on Dawn Of War - The Peace Message by brillbilly
Inspirational, powerful and well composed. This is a top work from you brother.

Those 'War' drums are majestic and the synths are sublime. The guitar works well too expressing the message of the track in place of vocals.

Faved man. Keep creating! - B

on Free Your Mind by undergounddude
Hey there.
This must be a work in progress as it sounds good already.

I like that effect in the beginning before the fading in. Very old school sounding to me and great sampling work here, or was it a sample loop from somewhere else.

Great title too. We should all free our minds, from a lifetime of conditioning, then we can truly express ourselves!

Oh you may have spelt your name wrong "UndergRounddude". Take care brother. - Billy.

i dont really like that vocal that much how it fits now, maybe i will change that soon

i did all samples by myself dont like to use stuff which is already somewhere in use.

free minds are value on this world and specially today.
keep your mind clear and think for urself never take the opinion of others(media) and question everything!

on The Unknown Samurai by Cobend
Another great work here Cobend!

Tracks like this reminds me of the Arcade Game days inserting endless coins into the machines, trying to clock those martial arts classics like Double Dragon, Shinobi etc

And in saying that, this track would be perfect for a Computer Game 'fighting' game. Great work again brother.

Did you you use Edirol Orchestra in this?? - Billy.

Hey Yojb. Definitely can feel the bass and reverbs on this.
Just to let you know, you need to post this in the loops/samples page as this page is for tracks and work in progress tracks only. Respect. - B

on Dancing in the Night by Aleksandros
Wow! Amazing track here Alek.
I like the intro.

Good drum roll buildup to the explosion at 0.45 bringing everything together.

A good idea at 1.24 to vary the track a bit before that drum roll buildup again. Love the synths section here, buildup the expectation and anticipation of the drums which you slowly brought up again.

The only thing that let the track down was the ending, which ended abruptly.

Otherwise, this is just perfecto! Faved.

Take care Looperfam. - Billy.

on Samurai Kintunoso Son Of Koto by Cobend
Excellent composition Cobend. I saw Bruce Lee in the description and stopped to have a listen. Yeah Samurai Jack is cool too.

Good change at 4.02 to vary things a bit before you brought the orchestral back in. Are these Looperman loops, presets or did you compose them because they are sounding mighty! Yes the drum rolls or Asian drums are quite majestic, nice reverbs on them too.

A good way to go out at 5.54, with a bang. Yep Bruce defeats Chuck Norris! For more inspirations and ideas, checkout my soundcloud martial arts page. Well done again. - B.

Cobend replied 12th Aug 2014 - 11 years ago
Hey Billydragon1! Thanks for the reply!
Yes, i composed the orchestral part myself using a plugin called Orchestral. I plan on getting a better plugin called Hollywood Strings/ Brass. Reason being is because the plugin Hollywood Strings sounds a lot more realistic and i also plan on starting to make movie soundtracks as well.
Again, thanks for the comment and i will checkout you soundcloud page!. -Cobend

on In the rain by MORxposure
This is different, slowed down dub-step, almost hip-step. :)
Hey I like that sampled chipmunk vocals, it brightens the mood of the track everytime it kicks in.

I think that you should bring the main vocal rap level just a little bit down too. Keep going forward! - B

on Mihai Dragoi feat Writenow Beast mode vers 2 by DRAGOIMIHAI
Hi Mihai. I was interested to see how you would chop and time the vocals. I thought you did really well.

The track is itself pumping and uplifting. I was hoping that you would introduce something heavy at 1.19 to hammer the point away of the words ' BeastMode', like an electric guitar or variation of drums. But hey maybe a dubstep version next for your project.

Good work again Mihai. Take care. - B

on Highlight of the Day - Instrumental by MightyMemphis
Beautiful, warm and relaxing. Takes me back to the carefree days when you did not have to pay any bills.
Loved it when the 'ahhs' kick in at 0.43. You've given room for both horns and flutes to breath on their own. Anything with flutes and I'm in. :)
Well done MM. Faved! - B

on Endless by CELL24
Good work here CELL24. It is definitely a banging track. But I am not doing it justice with my little computer speakers. I like the guitar sample that goes right through.

But to be honest, I felt the track got a little lost for me at 2.22, but this may be for the reason to allow the vocalist to do her thing here. But keep going forward brother! Thanks for sharing. - B

on Dream World by EXXER
This is good work Epidiam.
I am loving the pads that fills the background creating the dreamy environment.

Good introduction of the piano/keyboard around 1.00, it offers variation and builds up the track to where it needs to go.

I can almost here the call of the dolphins or whales in the background as opposed to a human voice. This could give your track a kind of 'soul' element.

Really enjoyed listening to your world my brother. Take care and God bless. - B

on The Battle of Olympus by Anubis
Amazing composition here Anubis. Very impressive and as you have said - EPIC!

Yes the Gods in this context are the fallen angels.
The Titans are the nephilims - half angel half human.
The Angels that had sex with human women are chained forever into the darkness.
The nephilims in the end fought and destroyed each other (Clash of the titans). When they died, their spirits had nowhere to go. These are what we call as Demons.

The demons in their human form before they died were the Heroes of old. They were worshipped by people because they were giants. Well these demons crave and still seek for worship and they do it through the possession of humans. This is rife in todays music industry when a person sells his soul and the entity/alter ego takes over a person and performs to seek worship again like in the days of old.

Thanks again for sharing your work. Take care.

Hey girl!
Great to see sisters here at Looperman doing their thing or as u Americans say 'Thang'! :)
Your track took me by surprise. I know it's a work in progress and I can only give a honest review if I listened to the whole track, that I hope u can share with us all later.

Other than that it sounds great! My speakers are not complaining(distortion) and that's a good start. Your chopping/sampling work is great too. I'm loving that 'ratchet' type of fx on every second beat. I hope u finish this track.

Stay encouraged! - Mr.B

on Who Cares by terrancet
The instrumental beat is good.
Your challenge is to do a clean version!

And your message will still come across, and maybe redo the lyrics and offer some solutions to the problems - that will indeed be your challenge. Than we can all turn a negative into a positive.

Take care man. - B
terrancet
terrancet replied 18th Jul 2014 - 11 years ago
haha clean version? that would be daunting. But yeah this track would never be on one of my projects because i feel like i am complaining more than rapping. But yeah i would definitely use that outlook when writing. it would add a different aspect to my writing than i would never have thought of without your comment. Thanks.

sidenote: I believe Hip Hop is a medium to tell a story. I think once I add my preferences it takes away from the story but there are ways to add in my thought with out taking away from storytelling. Again your feedback will help me thanks.

on Artificial Phobias -Original Mix- by TydalWaveOfficial
Hi Tydal. I don't listen to much Glitch but I found your track worthwhile and interesting.

I enjoyed that switch at 1.04. But I noticed my speakers are not feeling good around 2.17, 2.38. How are your volume levels - if they are hitting the red, bring them down a little on that main synth track. Anyway, a good effort, glitch with elements of dubstep! Take care brother. - B

on Thirsty by RiceChrisB
This is a banging track here bro/sis!
Great work from your Garageband daw.
Your levels are good as I noticed the bass are not muddy or drowning out the other instruments.

Good sampling and vocal adlibs as well. I picked up the James Brown sample too! Trap is a great genre in it's simplicity but I don't get why it's call trap - is it because it ensnares the listener?

Anyhow it was the 'chicken' in the description that brought me here as I am craving for some KFC! :)

Good work and keep them coming! God bless bro/sis! - B
