What a stunning track you have got going on here Dagaz.
Absolutely loved it.
Also liked your vocal processing work.
The track reminded me of the French band Enigma.
Keep up the great work man. God bless. - B
Good mix here brother Jay.
The bass is sounding clean.
It's not often that you hear Grime here at the Loop.
The track has a dark feel to it hence the title fits perfectly.
I would have loved to hear a new pad/synth/seq to kick in at 1.22 to add a new element to the track as it starts to sound the same right through. But since it is a quick composition, there is always room for new ideas later on.
It is not often that you hear a bass driven song here on Looperman.
Great intro, when that bass kicked in, it really woke me up like Whoa!
I like that variation with the keys brought in at 1.00 and so forth, kind of like the chorus parts of the song.
Keep it up my friend. Stay creating! This is just gravy! :)
Thanks Billy.
I had a lot of fun making this. I didn't start out to make this like it is but when I heard the bass loop, that's what got me to thinking about doing something like this because, as you said, haven't heard a bass driven song.
I started whittling away with the loops and this was the bass material used in this song..LOL..
Another beautiful rendition to enjoying life you have here Orlando51.
Really enjoying listening to your compositions. This one brightens and lights up the darkness overshadowing our sombre days. It is delightful and the saxophone just carries the listener away from the stress of life.
Thank you very much Billy for being the first to comment this one off offer...The first positive feedback is always a relief...I'm so glad you accepted this one with open hands...
Enjoyed this musical journey you made here. Very challenging to describe a blackhole in space musically but I think this works well.
Love the reverbs you applied on the instruments. The whole track also has that mysterious quality about it where you're do not know what to expect especially when sucked into a blackhole/wormhole/stargate.
You have a good ear for sounds that go well together.
This sounds great man. It's chill hop for me and takes me on a journey. Yes minor2go is amazing too and has some of the best piano work here at the Loop.
Man you can't see me but there is a big smile on my face right now. All this inspired by a mouse, just brilliant!
Pets are important family members too. And they don't judge either! Nice piano work here and an upbeat track altogether. I hope the little wee mouse loves it too!
Faved! - Billy
Thanks mate! Glad you enjoyed this one! I couldn't agree with you more, pets are definitely important family members! Sometimes they are better listeners too! Thanks for stopping by, take care!
I agree with Alex, it's kinda funky. That bassline holds it together. Love the that old school drumbeats too. Brings back memories of my DNB days. Is the track at 180bpm?
Thanks Billy, I can't remember the BPM exactly and all the originals (masters) got destroyed a while back so I can't go back and check. Thanks for the youtube link. Hilarious. TT
An out of this world track. This is brilliant as it captures the Annunaki spirits very well. I love the energy of this track, it is very edgy or shall I say cutting edge, never a boring moment, just the breaks at 0.59 and 3.31 then back into it. That digereedoo type of effect in the intro too was a surprise.
I can see this in the next X-Files movie soundtrack. Congratulations on a top track brother. Keep going forward with purpose. Blessings. - Billy.
Hey Tim. I was looking out for the thunderstorm. Just curious what did you use to record the thunderstorm with - mobile phone/ Dictaphone? Was it when you were out surveying? I've been thinking of doing the same when I go out on my walks - the sounds of nature. Anyway a great track mate. Tim's sweet serenade for the beloved Deptford.
Thanks Billy, actually it was a headset mike hooked up to a laptop. It was in Deptford Park, sometimes they leave it unlocked on summer nights. Good idea with the walks. Nature has some amazing sounds to capture. Good luck with that. Rock on \m/
This is super brother James.
From the opening warning siren, you know that 31 days was all that you have to survive the Evil and Darkness. Yes the suspense takes you right through the track and the gunshots immediately gains the listeners attention.
My ears were attuned to all the subtle effects and sfx laid throughout. Perhaps a zombie apocalypse or a purge is imminent. We shall see. Awesome JJ. - B
Whats popin BD...this is more of a Purge style track.good movie btw..haven't seen part 2 yet...but yea glad you enjoyed this track....Happy Halloween to ya bro!!
Haha a very original title I say.
And the music itself is perfect to describe a hermit, a self sufficient hobo who lives by himself without a care in the world. That guitar at the end took me by surprise. Keep up the creative expression brother DD. - B
This track is driven with forward momentum and energy.
Love the phasing type of effects at 1.04.
You bring me back to my early days of collecting synthesizer music, on cassettes of course.
I recognize the voice - that's Harrison Ford if I'm correct.
The 'runner' part of your title kinda gives it away too.
Good job brother Renzy.
Be strong! - B
Hey BD, how are things? Good to hear from you. And thx, I appreciate the comments :) I have to admit, MrRobot deserves credit for his awesome loop. I just tried to bring it to life in my own way. Yes, its Harrison Ford from Blade Runner. And yes again, I gave it away in the title :)
Hey MM. As you said, it's definitely bassy.
Something that a nightclub would be playing into the early hours of the morning. Enjoyed the variation of the bass at 2.17. Keep it up man. - B
This is some surperb work you have created.
Even the first section before the drop is itself a track which I enjoyed.
That reggae/dub drums in the beginning reminded me of Bob Marley straight away.
Otherwise, top work brother. Faved! - B
Just bloody marvellous Steve. I guess you have the touch of Magix mastered.
I like how the separate instruments have there own space to speak to the listener. And truly a great bassline to hold everything together and to keep the track in momentum until it fades away.
Where ye shall lay, there ye shall call home!
You lead the way brother. Jah bless. - Billy.
Hey mate. This is actually great.
Everytime I hear Waltzing Matilda, I think of the Australian Rugby Team(which is struggling at the moment).
The Lyrics is deep and makes one think as well.
I like the break halfway with that choir kicking in, that was brilliant and the acapella at the end outro.
Awesome mate. Blessings. - Billy
Hahaha!
I was thinking all day yesterday of getting a kitten and then this song came out.
I thought you may have overlooked the distortion segments of the song then I realised that was the cat purring!
I remember tracks like this when I began arranging songs. Yes I've used cats too. I guess your next challenge is to use dogs!
Keep creating, learning and getting better! - Billy.
This sounds great. I have to admit it was the song title that brought me here, a great title it is.
As the song is repetitive throughout, I would suggest a break halfway, and just drop some of the instruments, maybe the drumbeat, then bring it again later. Other than that, this is refreshing! Blessings. -B
Thanks brother in music. I couldnt agree with you more but that's the thing. I have a hard time with doing that because everything I know about making music i've taught to myself. So I'm not the best at making things progress that well. I just make the melodies and beats and then smash them together. I have a lot to learn about making songs. Thanks for the tip! :)
Very beautiful work Johnny. Loving the slow introduction of other instruments as well to give support to your piano playing. I would say that this was classic cinematics.
I can see Charlie Chaplin doing one of his best works to this enigmatic piece. Awesome mate. God bless. - Billy
Haha interesting, But I find the honky tonky more fitting for Charlie Chaplin.
Thanks a lot for leaving a comment ;) Appreciate it
and I am glad that you could enjoy the build as it is
Brilliant work here Frankske.
I could listen to the first 2 minutes alone forever as it is well composed, i.e finding the right loops to harmonize.
Nice subtle touches there with the percussion in the intro.
Are those indian sitars around 4.06 or is that a slide guitar? Also the flutes kicking in at 4.40 was just sweet.
Big thanks for the nice comment Billy. Yes, this track was very interesting to make. I enjoyed it very much. At around 4.06 I used 2 sitarloops. Thanks for listening. Cheers mate :-)
