Glad you heeded the reminder ( wish I had chosen a better song though!!)
no I hadn't thought of mixing the two together, but thanks for that Billy, going to give it a try.
This is surprisingly good. The native Americans would agree with me! When I heard your track Orlando, I think of UFO's straight away, so I came up with an alternative title in case you need to redo/remix it - "The Secrets of Area 51."
Thanks for sharing this calm piece into a chaotic world. - B
Hi there, Billy...nice to have you here again. As always, you have interesting and in most cases unique observations of my music....I really appreciate your recommendation for the alternative title... usualy I don't change titles of my tracks once shared...but I can surely make another piece of music using that one you suggested-:), it's just that I have to wait for the visit of the Muse, and then anything can happen...
Many thanks for positive feedback and stay well, my friend...
This type of beat reminds me of 'Beastie Boys'.
You're right, a little bit repetitive and could use some variations but would work well as end credits on a documentary. Thanks for sharing brother. - B
I really enjoyed the intro and the sultriness of the vocals. Reminded me of that band 'Enigma'.
That was a good break at 4.50 especially for a long track which is needed. The length of the track does not really matter when you enjoy and express yourself.
Hello billy, big thank you for coming to discover, great compliment from you .... I could not make it shorter ^ ^ I sometimes lead me to this style ... love to share my world .............
big hello to you - Dina
Thanks for sharing your work/mix.
Hope you will get a rapper for this great track.
A good exercise in chopping vocals for you I gather.
Blessing brother! - B
This is a amazing and simple! Loved the ambience and the reverbs. I think the vocal was just fitting as well.
The tempo of the drums correlates to the heartbeat of someone escaping through the ancient forest that is filled with ancient spirits. Well done Anubis! - B.
Man that was sublime and sweet! What a great track!
Good variation kickin in at 1.14 and loving the reversal type effects at 2.14.
How to make it better? Maybe just a simple vocal line saying something like this " Reach for the heavens and even if you miss, you will fall among the stars" to go somewhere in the middle. Great work brother. - B
You are always very productive and I can see that you have tried to capture the idea you had into music very quickly too.
I was expecting more heavy drums and basses but this one is quite soft and subtle. I would try to bring the vocals down especially on the male. Other than that keep on being creative. Blessings - B.
Great work here buddy.
When I heard that reggae riff in the beginning, I knew it was going to be good. I wasn't wrong.
Good use of samples, at 1.06 really brought the listener in. That was different around 2.12, more dnb than d-step, I suppose you were trying to keep the listener interested but would still work out without the change in tempo. Oh and I love the bassline!
Thanks for this, first time I heard it with music.
I did try to put music to it but the music was just not coming right but this just captures it. Timeless and yet prophetic, it's awesome.
At 27secs, there is a distinct separation, perhaps could be blended in smoothly. Yeah, just tweak down the volume of the vox I would do but other than that, you got a timeless piece. Faved and will link this to from the acapella.
Thanks Billy for the encouraging words! Means a lot to me that you like this piece...and I must say you always do an awesome job with your spoken words! Yeah I will tone down the vox and tinker with this a little more before I feature it. Really appreciate the positive feedback! Peace my friend! Dan.
This is such a brilliant and simple track.
Loved the arrangement and that catchy piano riff.
I'm sure I heard a sitar in there! Loved that distorted basslike synth that comes in every now and then, gives the track an edge.
Sorry that you lost the original file. Know how you feel as that has happened to me a few times (computer crashing, accidental delete). Which reminds me, we must always backup our data! Right? - Blessing Mark. - B
Thanks for listening and spot on it is a sampled sitar!!, thanks for your great comments and glad you like.
I have started to back up files now!! I also have so many tracks labelled WIP that its time for a spring clean!!
Take care my friend.
First time I heard of you and your track. I think this track is breathtaking and deep. You have put many thought into composing this, the blending of ambient emotions and that guitar in there was an amazing idea. I just love it!
Hello Billy, big thank you for this comment ...... I am registered for a short time here, it's a great pleasure for me to share my world sometimes can surprise ... it has been 10 years since I created a unique world ....
big thank you for listening Billy
Totally relaxed track, see myself crusising to this beat with the wind blowing through my hair, through the city streets on a Sunday.
1980's memories come flashing back. Cool laidback number man! - B
Good track Tim. I would have included an appropriate vocal sample but since it involves porn in the title, maybe not.
Loved the strings kicking in at 3.12. I would have put a little strings earlier on too IMHO but that's just me. Goog drum beat man. Thanks for sharing bud. - B
Such a refreshing track. Love the layering of all the pads, synths and slow introducing of the drums.
The energy just builds and builds feeding the human spirit. Just love Mariah's voice and Tara's too, great find!
Thanks for sharing this wonderful track. Faved!
"Every struggle is a test". Love the thoughts you have put into the lyrics.
The simplicity of the song comes through and I hope it had touched your friend.
Reminded me of a suicide track I did a long time ago which had also helped someone considering suicide. https://www.looperman.com/users/tracks/776955

Put the needle on the record, make that needle bounce!
This is popstars stuff here Steve brother!
Good acapella, I'm guessing that's not you singing!
Dance baby dance, Looperman I think you better dance now!
Top quality work here Steve, impressive.
- Billy
That is a significant and humbling compliment, sir. Thank you. My goal the whole time was to put a mental image in the listener's mind and have them perceive it as a war epic worthy of film.
Great work conveying different scenes of an imaginary movie.
I was thinking this would work well for a fairy tale 'Snow white' type of movie, wandering though the forrest with all her innocents and the dangers that lurks behind the forest shadows.
Love the flutes as always and the strings that kick in at 1.35. And that whole segment at 2.52 was just brilliant.
i was nervous about those strings LOL I originally had a little mandolin in there that just did not work and i couldn't find a loop to take its place so I made that little section piece by piece and I know nothing about orchestra stuff, so i was just winging it trying to make a little section i liked that would be the right length and convey an energy shift from the sweet flutes and harp.

Hey Mark have you thought of mixing Magix and Ejay sounds together, I'm in the process of doing it and have already done 2 songs, it works!
Thanks for your inspirations! - Billy.
Glad you heeded the reminder ( wish I had chosen a better song though!!)

Could do with some sampled tools in the background - hints: Pneumatic drill, chainsaw, a guy mowing the lawn .. A small clever experiment I say.

on Game Over by Abilify
Loved the vocals and I can understand why the drop is heavy to express the 'Game over' lyrics.
Perhaps if you could bring the instrument level down just a bit, maybe the vocal will maintain it's clarity on the busy parts.
