Then I added a hook with my own lyrics. Again, I have minimal resources, I use my laptops built-in microphone, and Garageband software, but I appreciate any and all feedback or criticism! Please let me know what you think of this song. I'm looking to collaborate with a rapper on this, then I'd sing the chorus and probably close it off. I already have one guy trying to get on the track who's very talented, but feel free to submit your work or let me know if you're interested in rapping on this track, or my other track (which will have the updated version very shortly: https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/157781 )
Thank you so much for your advice and criticism,
Lyndsay Rini

Wow... I am impressed. You do have a nice RNB voice. Like everyone else is saying ... with a 'good mic' you would be golden. Keep it up... I can't wait to hear more.
I wrote a reply for your question on my profile. Anyway u got a really nice, beautiful, strong voice and I`m open some collab with you! About this track: u really need a mic and some speakers or at least headphones. There are many many potential in you and you can use your voice. Waiting for more! Cheers! :)
I've use that mic a lot, the trick is not to overload it " being too loud " you'll
have to pay attention to distance from the Mic, I use the 1ft..distance rule
that way you can add volume to the voice, but it is hard to take distortion
out of a voice, so try to keep it clean as possible don't record with efx on
your voice keep it simple...Because it's mixing where the Magic happens with
a nice clean voice...
Good start, it only gets better from here on in....
Ok, I want to point out from reading the comments below that the problem with this track is the Bassline itself. I can hear her following the strings instead which was pretty much on point.
If the guy who created the song would redo the Bassline and follow the tones of the strings it would sound much better. Trust me, I understand that Vocals and Bass is one of the hardest things to mix. One trick I do when I working with Basslines is to play the tunes at a higher octave just to make sure it's in tune. Then I would shift it back down and walla.
Irini, I think you did a great job considering what you are working with. Keep your head up.
This is basically a good track.Your vocals would sound much better with a good mic. There is potential with this track, just up the quality n u gonna have a solid song.
I like what I hear. Once again, you have a really nice voice. The problem you are having with the mix is trying to mix a vocal track into an already mixed mp3....something that is really hard to do. If you had all of the individual instrument tracks and could load them in your DAW, then add your vocals, you would hear a whole different song. Perhaps the original artist still has the original files and could share them with you. If not, it is still a good effort considering what you had to work with. If you have mixing questions, I would be happy to try and help. I'm no expert but I would be happy to help where ever I can. Well done.
The mic is OK the mix is slightly off. I love your voice and the pan treatment on it. That arpeggio pan needs to be further in the back round of the mix. The Bass just clouds the sounds and the vox. I hate that I don't hear your voice halfway during the mix...because it just becomes "The same Thing" so quick synopsis, I love the beginning and your voice, better mix and you have a cool tune. lose the rappers (not that I dislike rap) there not going to help you as you have a great voice, just make a traditional song.

Sorry, I didn't understand a lot of that comment. I didn't record the beat, as I said in the description, I just recorded the hook for it. I was considering it, and I might make a version without rap, but I wanna play around and see where it could go.Thank you for your feedback!!!
It's a good RnB track, kinda groovy and laidback vibe to it.
You could probably repeat the chorus right before the end and maybe somewhere in the middle but you have to work that around the rappers verses.
Welcome to the loop by the way. You can also upload your vocals in the acapella page and get more collaborations that way too! God bless! - B.

Description : I wrote this song a little while ago and originally called it "Gave You All Of Me" but I came across a beautiful track Free to use by HVRTZLAB and decided to exercise My Vocals & do a rough draft on this track. May re-do the full song at some point when I get more time. THX to all who support My work. Stay Safe/Blessed People.
Description : Whilst remixing an older song I did discover Purpl from Bristol here in the Acapella section. She was also looking for a remix and now I merged both songs together. It was a pleasure to do because it feels like a positive song lifting up the mood. Hope she is Ok with putting her into a different genre. And yes, the kick is a bit cheesy :-)
