Abstract and disturbing... I am feeling empathy for natures finest creatures. Weird, it's all weird, but I think that is your goal and it hits the back of the net. (That's a touchdown in your sporting parlance across the pond.)
Hey friend, thank you so much for your enhanced words! I'm happy that you enjoyed listening to this one. It took me quite a while to listen to the final master without an emotional outburst, so I guess that is probably a good sign. I don't really do much that is not weird, but I'm sure you've learned that by now. To be compared with Dali is a new one, and I'm honored. I appreciate you stopping in to listen and comment!
Yes it's long, but that gives you more time to listen. Fantastic, very catchy and the only criticism is just the background noise on the bass intro but that dissipates when the drums kick in. Love it.
Sorry about the late reply, i bust my lap top and only just got it fixed. Glad you enjoyed the track. I'm a little annoyed that there's noise on the bass as it was a purchased loop and they're supposed to sound clean. Ah well, shit happens i suppose. Thanks again for dropping by.

I had a crush on Judie when I was about 14 and her 7" vinyl made a home with my punk/rock/ska collection at the time... and rightly so. It is full of emotion and depth. However, what a fantastic production you have come up with Richie and I reiterate that the young lady singing has hit the nail squarely on the head. If I were you, I would be as proud as punch. How much time did you spend producing this? What does it matter? It's top notch.
Thank you very much for rekindling the memories and pass my comments on to your vocalist.
Funny old thing that! I also had a crush on her too!! I think it was her photograph on the front cover of her album. Blonde hair and lovely teeth - ooooohhhhh! OK, glad you enjoyed the track and thank you so much for the kind words regarding the production. Much appreciated.
I spend a fair bit of time on the production and try to get everything as good as it possibly can be. Top notch - praise indeed, thanks.
I will of course pass on your comments to Pauline - she will be so pleased.
I am an old git and I remember this song well. However, what a blissful cover you have come up with. Sounds beautiful and the lady has a voice. Just a little bit stronger on the strings, not much and you've cracked it. I love this.
Us "old gits" tend not to forget such great songs like this. That said this was Pauline's idea and she is but a mere young thing! Anyway glad you liked the track (blissful is praise indeed). Mixes are such a personal choice and I do hear what you say about the strings. I just wanted to have them sitting "in" rather than "on" the track. I appreciate your comment on the "emotional" context too and I have to agree - it's a lovely vocal performance with real soul.
Thanks for stopping by and posting comments. It's much appreciated.
There was a band I went to see at The 100 Club in London called Ruthless Blues back in the late 90's and they were excellent.
Then there is this tune which, upon listening, sent me right back to that club.
This is a most enjoyable little project and thank you all for the download and listen. Truly a sound that very much captures the era and it will reside on my iPod.
Been to the 100 club and Ronnie Scott's many times and of course the The Marquee, sadly though never heard Ruthless Blues.
Thanx for your kind comments. I'm sure that I speak for everyone concerned when I say that all you can hope for when making music, is that others will enjoy it.
Liking that stop... then quick continuation in your melody. Catching me out! Nice little tune. Loads going on behind the melody that catch the attention so as to concentrate on what's going on elsewhere in the tune while the main flow still sticks in prominently.
Thank you both, 12 and Dark, for getting together and working on this track. Loving it. Agree fully with Brillbilly's comment, great song to seat dance to at a live gig. Lovely atmosphere running through and I cannot begin to tell you how much this reminds me of a past girlfriend
Gotta tell you this; hating Phil Collins is a favourite pastime of mine!
However I can appreciate what you have done here and it is because of the elements you have utilised. This is very well made and the quality is superb. Loving that reggae break.
This is very much on it! Nice work fellas and long may we be under medication!! Head bending was my first impression which is always welcome through my speakers and it sort of gets me thinking of Tribalizm by Rennie Pilgrem. I look forward to more.
You have a good understanding and all borne out from this site. It is good to have witnessed. Thanks a ton for the listen and download.
Nice elements and love the piano/pad duet near beginning. If the heart was a synth and wanted to express release, then you captured it in this track. Nice work TT.
Very good dance track my friend and that dubstep break was a sonic boost that went through the whole room as I played it. Sounds like you have worked hard mastering this as it delivers extremely well. Nice prod and thanks for the listen and download.
Nice track and love the build up routine you used with the dup dup lady. Piano comes in nice and bit me instantly that the rest of the song was still to come but with anticipation and I like it when a song does that on first hearing. What DAW are you on and/or hardware? It sounds rich from my speakers and I appreciate the sound levels you have tweaked with
Just missing a few fx, I know that may come across as a cliche but I instantly imagined filtered build up effects bringing in each new set of sections and when I played this a second time I tried to create them in my mind simultaneously with the areas they could be put in just to build what is already an evocative and deep vibe. Plus an array of soft and big cymbals in some sections to crash in that next quality section.
I cannot criticise this track in any negative way and I will be playing it again.
Shame it isn't available for download as I would have a lot of fun sticking this in Ableton and sprinting through a set of about 10 remixes of dup dup utopia!!
I absolutely respect what you have done here though and these are only my suggestions on what is a quality sounding mix. I would also like to mention that your breaks were getting my head nodding and the pc table was getting a good drumming session from me every time the drums kicked in - very, very sexy and the ladies will love this and I, in my younger dancing days would have been taking advantage with some funky moves to this!! In total played it 4 times before thinking about the neighbours and had to cease proceedings!
Nice Alcatraz vibe going on, don't know if you aware of Give Me Luv by them but that is a great song to get up to and I am sure this will mix perfectly with it as it did in this old head when I was listening to this!
Finally, I really enjoyed the listen(s) and thank you for this fine example of a deep house experience. I want it on my iPod at full volume when I am hitting the trail on my mountain bike.
Keep it up and excuse the long winded comment. Take care.
Makes you feel that the satellites are coming alive and expressing their disgust at the way we live. Hard beats, fantastic glitch. I can well imagine this as a backdrop to some action on a sci fi offering as the troops ready themselves to take down the satellites. Ok, back from fantasy land now and would like to congratulate you on the atmosphere this track exuded. Keep it up Cyber.
In 1979 I went to a blues house in a district called Moss Side in Manchester, UK. I was 15. The atmosphere of this superb track took me right back there under age drinking and letting the bass move my chest around my torso. This is an absolute gem of a track. Release it! It is a nice hot day today and this was the tune that labelled the day. Bloody excellent. Reminds me of the old African dub I was into back then.
Thank you for the excellent listen and also the download.
Very quirky and loving that bass through my speakers. £ minutes and 8 seconds of bliss my friend. Like your work on this and you have shone through with this unique piece. Well done VSS! Thank you very much for the listen and download.
Hiya DJKP. Hope all is well ? Thanx so much for stopping by to listen & review. I really appreciate your kind comments. You are most welcome to the download, I am honoured you liked the track that much. Again, thanx my friend for taking time out to visit my lil corner of the Loop.
Rennie Pilgrem.... there is a new kid on the block!
This is solid FR, very solid. Loving that roving synth searing through. Will now have to listen to this again after a phat one and crank it up when the neighbours are out! Thank you for the download. Excellent work!
Thanks mate, I'm suprised at the feedback this ones got as i didn't actually spend that long on it. Just goes to show you CAN work too hard sometimes.
Your comments are always appreciated DKP & i'm glad you liked the tune.

Wow, very sweet indeed! This is nothing short of beautiful. Love the change at "For once in your life..." where the piano and voice go on a different route. Excellent production.
No worries man, I've turned the downloads back on now if you wanted a copy. I just wanted to see how much difference it made with regards to how many reviews you get. "A lot" would seem to be the answer. I'm gonna turn them all back on now. Nobody likes a Scrooge now do they? lol
