Ripper! It is good to visualise what you might be doing as far as automation and filter use is concerned and I like your style. Another quality track from FreeRad. Whether it is cut and paste or not, I always think it's the putting together of all the elements that is important and I certainly would be none the wiser if it wasn't mentioned that samples were used - it's all about the finished article and keeping listeners interested and you have not failed. Thank you for the listen FR and also the download. Keep flowing dude.
What a treat this is. Runs through the veins and keeps topping them up. The bass you put out of my speakers is awesome. Lovely synth work and the drums are real nice. Off to stick it in my Looperman playlists.
Thank you for the top listen and also for the download.
:) Yes! This is, indeed, very much to my liking! Addictive. I respect your automation use on this with the effects and that full on bass line, it's on it!! Great piece of music, FreeRadical.
Once again I listen to a track featuring the vocal talent of Patricia E and once again I get hooked. I love your musical work on this track. Astounding. Love the changes you have enveloped and the overall sound quality is pristine!
Fix what you need to fix and get it back on here. And hurry! A few sweeping fx wouldn't go a miss. Free Rad, this, when finished, is going to be pretty damn spesh... you have moulded the parts well.
I'm trying mate, i'm trying! Mixdowns never been my strongest point, i kind of lose patience with it. i think i might just have to hire the A-team!
Thanks for taking the time to leave comments and cheers for the download.

I am a bit of an old git! When I see the word "pop" in musical genre lists I generally listen to about 20 to 40 seconds of the track before I switch it off and curse like mad! There is just this X Factor appeal going on everywhere dragging in those who maybe like pop because their friends have told them what is cool to listen to! It is a shame. I am of the belief that if bad music wasn't rammed down the throats of these people by Mr Simon Cowell et al, then the charts would have an unfamiliar but better feel about them. Society is to blame for this.
And now your track.....
Soul, soul, soul. I appreciate the effort you have put into making the listener feel that they can offer you your love, concur with your sentiment or know someone going through a bad relationship that a certain song triggers the hairs on their necks. I feel you have achieved this and much more. A truly harmonious, strong and expressive vocal talent you have. And you have captured the whole essence of emotion in this song. I congratulate you. This is lovely!
You see... you got some guy called fiddy cent, ya got chamillionaire, and it is honestly a pile of shite, sorry if you are a fan of these two talentless pieces of excrement, they are awful and they are not the only awful ones - I was at school since the birth of hip hop in the mid to late 70's and it has evolved into shit from gold. Ha the reverse Midas effect!
But this is hip hop mate and it is wholesome. What did you use to master? Very clear, very spacious. Too good to be up as a free download!!
My ears were pleased by this. Great work. I am now gonna download it, but by rights you should have kept it off the free download section, but I ain't complaining!! Peace fella.
Yeah I have heard of 50 cent. That tardo recently put out an album with a track that sounds VERY VERY similar to one of mine. I released the track to the net before he dropped the album. Guess the famous guys like snatching the underground ideas and calling them their own.
I use FL studio,...(still rocking FL9) and T-Racks 3 Deluxe mastering suite. I have a preset for my mastering set up in FL. If you use FL I can send you a link to where I have it up for DL.
WHy do I have this up for DL?
1.) So Bonez or Nepaul can grab a copy at their own convenience.
2.) Id rather people download and listen everywhere than have to come to Looperman every time they wanna hear the track.
If its not an instrumental im probably gonna make it available for DL.
I noticed that the comments prior to mine on this track are from last year and I hope now you have managed to get some software upgrade. If you have done this track on Audacity, then think what you could do on Reason, Live, Cubase, FL etc, etc.
As regards the track, have to agree with Phyruisblackjack about the over usage of samples but he is right also about how cool this track could be if you had the gear to do a tidy mix. Hope you don't see this as negative criticism, It is actually praising your work on such limited resources. There are ways of getting software you know, but I could not possibly promote that on here. One good option would be to buy a copy of Computer Music Magazine which will have a dvd with it that has a complete music studio for free. This studio is available every month and there are some cool plug ins.
In your reply you say you don't know how to mixdown. You are on the internet, there are loads of sites that offer free advice, video tutorials and the like. You have done this track with your experience so far... think what you could do after just reading a few articles. Get on it fella and start discovering what is inside you that you never knew you had. By the way, I think your profile pic is well funny mate, I see you have a funny side to your character. Good luck dude.
I have this collection of samples, haha. Who would have thought to have a wobble didgeridoo (correct spelling). Actually, Rolf Harris may be doing some kick ass dubstep on his didg as we speak, you never know. (Sounds like an obscure sex act!!!) Tc Manic.
Haunting and very danceable Visionary I want to hear this again when you finish it. Pumping thru my speakers nicely. You know when you walk into a club and you look round to gauge the atmos and you see some beautiful girl dancing with her eyes closed but arms waving in a snake like motion and looking sexy - this is that track.
Thanx so much for the listen & reveiw DJ-KP I really appreciate it. To tell the truth I'm waiting for the sun to shine and the temperature to rise in my lil corner of Kent before I reapproach this one. For me it's a sunshine track and needs some more to inspire me before I attempt anymore on it. Saying that I like the visual imagery the track gave you. Thanx again mate.
I hate Flashdance, I wretch at the very sight of those cheesy 80's films that blighted my teenage years. Flashdance, Dirty Dancing, Footloose.... you know the score.
HOWEVER...
What you have done with this track is quite honestly amazing. It sounds so crisp and I commend all involved within it. You have livened up an old dude here! I may even go out and buy some legwarmers and lycra!!! :-)
You should send this off, if you haven't already done so, you would be crazy not to. Excellent work and very professional.
hey...i know im good...just the others dont know...lol (joking)...
but its not easy to give an old classic song a totally new fresh style...it came out very good i think...it rocks !!!
thx for the review...cheers...JW...

Very mellow and very engaging. A nice little ease up track if it was in a dj set. Good work.
