Getting away from the track for a moment- it must be cool having so many people comment on how they'd love to hear your stuff accompanied with vocals (collab suggestions & requests). Makes me wonder how many people you've hooked up with on here. The potential certainly is huge!
Anyways, returning to the track, this is one of those odd moments where I'm diggin it just the way it is. And the only vox I'd think would compliment it are some kinda indistinct choral stuff (in the higher octaves), ya know? Otherwise, this is good kick back n chill music. Later on!
on some kind of disco by WhiteSands
Beyond that this has a very nice 1976 vibe going on. Kinda like I could see it being used in a movie or a soap opera from that time. Cool grooves mate!

You need to specify whether you have permission to use Biggie's stuff on this. Otherwise you'd be in breach of copyright and site rules.
So please correct this whenever you get the chance, thanks!

As you know there's an Acapella section for things like this. And I scoped out the 'pellas ya got now and most of those would probably be categorized as 'Vocal Loops'
As for this, nice cover here. Kinda remindin me of a mix between Dido and Sarah Mclachlin. Later on!

Anyways, this is a pretty sweet mix mate. I especially dug those parts where ya pause the beats to match the vocals. Rawk on!

2 things...
In the future could you refrain from double posting your songs and such.
And next time you encounter problems when trying to upload something fixing it is as easy as clicking on the "edit" link off to the right and just readd the file, check the box, and click upload... Cool?
As for the mix I thought it sounded alright. Some of aspects of the synth sounded kinda funny, but I'm thinkin that 'warble' was something you added to get 'em to sound that way. Overall it was nicely done. Lates!

Oh and BTW, The Crystal Method is getting ready to do something similar with one of the tracks on their latest album (I swung by their page a few days ago and it isn't set up yet).
This is kinda mellow house. Not the typical cup of tea in the house world (or atleast what I'm use to). Though I'm kinda diggin the approach ya took. Sorta like meant for just closing your eyes and getting lost in the flow of dancing. Kudos!

And I agree with OutlawSen, this is a def club banger. Nice classic usage of synths here. Later on!

As for the track, I'll be honest it kinda reminded me of Strongbad's Techno Sbmail, but once the rest kicked it I was def thinkin back to my NES. I wanna thank you again for sharing that prog. It's something I'm sure a decent number of people on here would enjoy playing with. Later on!

And it's a very apt name I'm thinkin coz I could totally see some people goin to town on some Soul Caliber or Def Jam Vendetta 2 or some Smackdown Vs Raw with this goin. Yep, a night of jugglin beers with some wicked combos (or random chairs to the back, haha). Bangin stuff holmes. Later on!

5 days on FL, huh? Sounds like you've pretty much gotten the hang of it. How much did you mess with the modulation & effects stuff? Though I dunno what it's called exactly that's prolly like my favorite feature on the prog. Tweeking the synth to get it sounding just like ya want it to.
Anyways, now for something random- did ya use a midi-keyboard on this coz the synth sequence is remindin me of another tune ya did (can't think of the name off the top of my head, but the stylings are similar). Don't read that wrong mate. I guess I'm just tryin to peg your style is all. Thanks for sharing. Later on!
I actually didn't have to mess around with sounds too much actually just tweaked a few knobs to my likeing then I was good, and it kinda sucks because I have no full versions of anything so I had to try something different and it worked.
Hmm... nope no MIDI-Keyboard, just step sequencing all by myself on FL.
Now that I think about it, yes the melody kinda sounds like some of my other songs, ie.

Im not completely sure if those are what you are thinking about but maybe so check them again.
Thanks for the review

Heh, this track is kinda like Apollo 440 meets DJ Sam or something. Very nice concept mate, but there were parts that kinda seemed a bit repetitive (though I'm thinkin you could go with that if ya threw this into some kinda mash-up remix, pairing it with something that has either horns or some for of synth to it- pads that can also act as leads or similar). Thanks for sharing. Later on!

I agree, the bass on this rawks. I'm diggin the way they interact with the drums at the beginning. Giving it that classic dance edge. Gritty and basic, ya know. Perfect for 4-steppin it out! Listening to a track like this would be so great for choreographing a dance to (somethin else I've been kinda getting into recently). Nice one mate. Later on!

Yea i might make it longer who knows? (*shrugs*) - thanks for the first review :)

Now for something random...
I know they might be more electo-centric, but I'm thinkin that you might enjoy some of the music by Dub Pistols. They've got a couple of tracks on their album Point Blank that are sorta similar.
Anyways, I think this is one of those times that ya rated yourself too harshly (as we artists tend to do alot with our own works). It might've been a rush job, but it certainly doesn't sound like one mate. And I think that's where it counts.
Oh, and something else that's random...
For albums I base my stuff on the calendar (aimin for 1 track a month, if I come close to 12 I'm happy). Time also factors in too, slightly. I always try to shoot for around an hour. As long as it hits close it's good. Just some food for thought.
Back on track, about the track now. Sounded decent to me. Thanks for sharing. Later on!
Cheers Slap...

Hahahaha, gaaw!
So what part of the storm would this be from? The momentary lull between downpours? I like the mellowness of it and that one synth line ya used mixed with the spaced out drum treatment gives it a nice spacy (like a huge field) sorta feel to it. The minimal treatment allows it to either stand on its own perfectly or gives other artists the chance to go crazy with it in mix sessions. Later on!

And good lord, Cassette tapes, whatever happened to those, ay? Actually, I'm just kiddin. They still sell 'em at places like Office Max & Wal-mart (I think Wal still does). Course, they also still use the heck out of those micro-cassettes for those non-digital recorders.
As for redoing thing, I hear ya. I've got those urges every now and then with a few of my tracks. And as for this one, there's a small part of it that sounds like the audio was overly compressed (like it was part of the tape that was messin up when it was playing/recording). Okies, couldn't find it on the 3rd go round, but there were sections that seemed dodgy (prolly having to do with the drums or something).
Though for a dated song this is amazingly fresh. Thanks for sharing mate. Later on!
on Buzz - Outside Beats (Mr. Mann Remix) by DaMann
Haha.
Can't say I've ever heard of the guy. Course, I've kinda fallen behind on my CD store surfin ventures lately. I don't blame the economy I just blame a mix of financial scrutiny mixed with that previously mentioned laziness thing.
Anyways, I'm lovin the synth's interaction with the cymbal rides on that one part. This is the kinda stuff that I'd love to hear the lyricist of DJ Scooter screamin to (haha, you like that lil 'rave newbie' stab I threw in just there).
Okies, since this is just a snippet I'm on play 2 now and am thinkin that ya might wanna work on the levels of the female voc-sam ya got on this (sounds a bit too crisp currently I'm thinkin). And is the dood sayin... On the beach, beach, beach. Or is it beats, beats, beats? Just thought that was somethin ya might think to be funny. Decent mix mate. Later on!
