I agree with Perko. The vocals are sitting way to far in the background. They need to be brought up more. Other than that it sounds good. Drums sound a little fake but I am not the one to be talking shit on drums. I suck at it. :)
I like what you have here. I think some chunk power chords might add a little drive to it. Kind of counter the guitar you have now. I love the slow build. Nice job.
I agree with the other comments. Music is great. Vocals are good but need to pop a bit more. Also, would love to hear the lead guitar a little louder in the mix.
Sounds great. Has a Dandy Warhol vibe at the beginning for me. Then the vocals kick in and it sounds more Country Rock. Vocals were solid. I would like a more prominent bassline but that is just nitpicking.
Overall great track. Nice job.
Thanks tops for your time and comment.
I really enjoyed putting this together.
I'm on a number of discussion forums and a lot of people seem to be getting down about the state of the world.
I was having images of guys sat at bars silently looking into the gloom of another empty glass ... give me another one bartender.
Hence the drowning.
I'm liking it again now.
Not my usual genre in any sense but I do listen to quite a bit of Hip Hop and grew up listening to Run DMC in the early 80's as a teenager. Big fan of groups like Gangstarr and Brand Nubians to name a few. I particularly liked the Production and was impressed with the vocals. Both lyrically and production wise. Very clear and present. They sit up front nicely and drive the track rather than letting the beat take the lead. Glad I popped in for a listen. Thanks for sharing. Very nice job.
Quite the awesome track my friend. Dug the whole thing. Nice to hear fellow musicians doing great things with Superior Drummer. No diss to actual Drummers of course.
As an old school espresso drinker, from the age of eleven, I can understand where you are coming from! I have moved away from it a bit, to try and limit my addiction, and due to not being able to get a decent machine. It's all aeropress or hand poured drip now, and I even go a day or two without lately!
Those vocal parts you mention are indeed mysterious, and I'll leave it that way. Mistake, or maybe not...
I'm glad it gave you a jolt! The frantic nature is due to trying to get a good recording right after the initial inspiration. It's the nature of the beast. All thanks go to the messes up people I ran into at the park!
I really just don't feel the impulse to record lately unless the impulse is from a new idea. Things such as this.
Thank you for listening my friend! I'm glad you stopped by!
If this is you being rusty I can't wait till the rust comes off because this is already damn good. Not my genre at all but I enjoyed it and thought the mix was great.
Nice job.
Im glad you enjoyed even though its its not your style!, also you like the mix? im not sure if its 100% yet but its awesome you like :)
Thanks for the feedback.
Haha. Thanks tv. I'm glad you gave it a spin. I'll have to keep that in mind at one of my shows. Maybe pour Kool-Aid on the crowd..... consider it done. :)
Cool track. Sounds a little more industrial leaning than Pop, but that is a good thing. Definitely a NIN vibe going on which is never a bad thing. Nice job.
Solid track. I will download it and see if I get anything spark wise. If I do I will hit you up. Overall great job though.
Thanks for sharing and the download.
