on Hold On Tight by topvega
this one has that live sound that is hard to come by these days (or so it seems) topvega...nice up front sound....reminds me of those Saturday night dance parties....very nicely done & like the bluesy-rock touch.....Ed

Hey Ed, thanks for the very kind words and the support. It is greatly appreciated. I am always striving to get the sound and tone just right. I am a big fan of the "live" sound as well. Thinking about adding some Rock organ or harmonica to this. It still feels a bit naked. Thanks again.

on Boy Shut Your Lips Featuring JJ by brillbilly
You take hip hop to a new level brillbilly...those synth elements in there along with the fat bass kick it up really nicely..you might not expect it from me...but while I am not a rap fan...I love the hip hop beats...in fact they go great (for this ol guitar guy) layered in with some straight pop or rock drums to get that nice complex rhythm between the drums going...nice job on this one...Ed

Thanks Ed.!

All i know is what i think sounds a bit like the real thing lol.

I love most music genre's and just found myself spending the night with JJ's voice, and well the track just sort of evolved like all my track,i cant write it down or even replicate what i do as i just feel my way through.

Im working on a nice chillout lead guitar track at mo.!

That's come about coz i spent the weekend listening to floyd lol.

As with all my stuff,it derives from feelings,so to me and my own enjoyment, i can do a hip hop type track and use electronic sounds that may have come from electro samples.

The best thing about this being a hobby is plenty of choice to do what i like, without ever thinking i always have to produce something better.!.

Enjoyment is paramount in what i try to produce, and i seek no fame or fortune from what i do.!

So getting the amount of great comments regarding what i put up blows me away every time.

Thanks for your kind comments,........you rock man!

on Colours of Me by FullCapicityMuzic
Ah yes....sung from the soul to touch the souls of the rest of us..everything from the thoughtful lyrics to their soulful delivery and extra tasty accompaniment to the beautifully clean production says "Pro"....I really hope people find this gem somewhere on their listening journey. It is the kind of music that stands out on its own in a sea of mediocrity that regularly assaults our ears...Sincere best wishes to you and Richie for success with this one..it would be well deserved and earned with talent.....Ed

Indeed, Richie has that "clean sound/production" thingee-muh-jigger you guys talk about LOL.

Thanks so much for stopping by :-) and letting us assault your ears lol

on feat- Tumbleweed - They Say - Edit by teamrufeless
Just stopping by to leave a well done and a big Thank You Lee....I couldn`t quite get the mix into that Floyd vibe the way I wanted and you have just taken it the rest of the way and then some...fantastic work on the lyrics & their delivery...Makes me think I should likely be calling my part of a mix done more often, before I pick up the ol strat and try to do some melody....I`m honoured by your talented company....great job....got a copy in my folder....Ed

on Twilight Horizons by mystirP
that big reverby piano sure does the dreamy part Mr.P and the drums definitely fulfil the jumpy role...quite an unusual mix of sounds but I thinkthe biggest contrast likely comes from the drum mix....different is good...well done.....Ed

Usually my phone will alert me when I get stuff like this. It didn't this time or I didn't hear it. Sorry for the late response. Thank you and I am very glad you liked it. My mom says it's my best one yet. I kinda like to think maybe yeah, but I like Forever Friends the most due to some of the way I used my techniques in the breaks and bridges.

on Walk in the Rain by Rockinchair11
Hi Rockinchair11...you are off to a good start...my take on it would be to loose the drum track and/or replace it with something a bit minimal or lighter...the synth & pad parts have a nice kind of Celtic vibe and sound good by themselves...maybe build up towards a kind of light beat & bass type groove that lets the mix go for a walk in the rain...keep on.....Ed

on another note....forgot to mention...I like your vocal here just fine..nice smooth vocal character fits nicely with the music & on the money...if you think you want something different there you could check with our friend Ratty (Mark Ratcliffe) who has that nice touch of soulful character to his voice...Ed

on TANGLED DREAM ft DJShemZee by SERGEJ77
Ah yes...I`m familiar with Shemzee`s music..and like yoyrsel he is one talented guy who does a lot of atyles yet always has his own signature...particularly his vocal stylings....This is just another great example of how collaboration by a couple of talented musicians multiplies the result...great stuff guys...Ed

on ONE SMALL STEP - BILBOZO by Bilbozo

on greenspoon - i think of you by thegreenspoon
your track absorbed a little of the night greenspoon...I just became a bit familiar with dubstep since I have been listening around LM and while it has a beat that my ears are not yet fully accustomed to, it also has some fantastic synth sounds...like the ones you have used here...the track really carries the whole vibe of thoughts in tyhe mind late at night....well done...enjoyed this one....Ed

on on the road by carlosnble
you`ve got some catchy tracks going on over here carlosnble..really like this one too...great sounds and a groove that just pulls you along..I spent a lot of years listening to mixes with a bit more traditional musical structure..so pardon me if I repeat myself (must be getting old) but it would really benefit from a bit more variation (either in key, beat, or accompaniment etc) somewhere along the line..hope you take my comments as constructively intended...its just that I hear more potential...really nicely done...enjoyed the listen...Ed
