well..thats some mighty fine doodling you got going on here Daniel...really like the piano & the subtle bit of acoustic...nice fat subby bas in there too....really well done....much enjoyed....Ed
you do a great job in this genre thyroid....I think I may have a couple of your orchestral loops in my folder....really nice composition onnthis one....Ed
that big reverby piano sure does the dreamy part Mr.P and the drums definitely fulfil the jumpy role...quite an unusual mix of sounds but I thinkthe biggest contrast likely comes from the drum mix....different is good...well done.....Ed
Usually my phone will alert me when I get stuff like this. It didn't this time or I didn't hear it. Sorry for the late response. Thank you and I am very glad you liked it. My mom says it's my best one yet. I kinda like to think maybe yeah, but I like Forever Friends the most due to some of the way I used my techniques in the breaks and bridges.
Hi Rockinchair11...you are off to a good start...my take on it would be to loose the drum track and/or replace it with something a bit minimal or lighter...the synth & pad parts have a nice kind of Celtic vibe and sound good by themselves...maybe build up towards a kind of light beat & bass type groove that lets the mix go for a walk in the rain...keep on.....Ed
Now this is different...and in the best of ways..I`m not up on genres myself so you can call it whatever & I`d still like it...imaginative mix /instrumentation going on...thought I might have heard a touch of Latin in there too...well done visualword...enjoyed this one...Ed
on another note....forgot to mention...I like your vocal here just fine..nice smooth vocal character fits nicely with the music & on the money...if you think you want something different there you could check with our friend Ratty (Mark Ratcliffe) who has that nice touch of soulful character to his voice...Ed
Oh man....I love this one Lee...its a tonic man...I was reaching for the download button after the first few lines...I was waiting for a key change or some kind of chorus/hook to kick in but it just kept rolling along real smooooooooooth all the way with enough directions in the mix to keep tl ol ears perked...I just gotta move this one over to my music pc and do a little play-along for the fun of it....thanks for positing this one....I`m still smiling....Ed
Oh wow thanks Ed that really means a lot bet it sounds fab with some of your riffs over the top, I will get in touch with Ratty soon, i am completely obsessed with October Moon I have the first verse and chourus already,Thanks again Lee
Ah yes...I`m familiar with Shemzee`s music..and like yoyrsel he is one talented guy who does a lot of atyles yet always has his own signature...particularly his vocal stylings....This is just another great example of how collaboration by a couple of talented musicians multiplies the result...great stuff guys...Ed
I have been getting a bit of an education on some of the electronica genres around the Loop PBJ.(I still got a long way to go I think)...and one of the things I am really noticing is some the great synth sounds and nice speaker-shaking production....another good one here....Now I know where to come when I ned to further my learning....nicely done....Ed
this kind of trance could get me listening to the genre a lot more Foffanna...some really rich sounds & a really nice job getting the vocal so clean & clear up front....well done.....Ed
That is some of the finest, most soulful guitar I have listened to in a long time Bilbozo...tone to the bone...and you sure have all the compositional elements in perfect order...and spot on production...this is a bout as good as it gets in my humble opinion...fantastic.....Ed
great piece of cinematic work Twanna1...you had some talented musicians on board, but it takes big compositional talent to put one like this together...great track...much enjoyed...Ed
your track absorbed a little of the night greenspoon...I just became a bit familiar with dubstep since I have been listening around LM and while it has a beat that my ears are not yet fully accustomed to, it also has some fantastic synth sounds...like the ones you have used here...the track really carries the whole vibe of thoughts in tyhe mind late at night....well done...enjoyed this one....Ed
you`ve got some catchy tracks going on over here carlosnble..really like this one too...great sounds and a groove that just pulls you along..I spent a lot of years listening to mixes with a bit more traditional musical structure..so pardon me if I repeat myself (must be getting old) but it would really benefit from a bit more variation (either in key, beat, or accompaniment etc) somewhere along the line..hope you take my comments as constructively intended...its just that I hear more potential...really nicely done...enjoyed the listen...Ed
I hope you find the vocalist you want on this one carlosnble...its a dm good sounding piece of music...could benefit from a bit of a break just to vary thingts a bit more...definitely has potential.....keep on...feel free to mail me when you get it done (no favs button here any more)...would like to hear the results...Ed
nothing seems to conjure up emotions and mind pictures quite like cinematic music..and it gives you license yo go most anywhere you want musically...great job on this one Chris...much enjoyed.....Ed
the cello is just such an emotional sounding instrument..and paired with the piano and played with the skill evidenced here it creats a fabulous bit of musical art....superb Proxy...great track....Ed
Man Richie...every one I listen to I thing..this must be your best one yet,...and then you keep topping yourself...I can only echo the many compliments you have received..this is just a superb bit of musical artistry...you do indeed set a standard that many of us would wist to strive towards...all the best on your move mate.....Ed
Always good to hear from you. Thanks for the support on this and your comments are so rewarding. Whenever I put a new track together it is always a voyage of discovery and I'm never too sure where it will lead me. I've said it before - my function is to get the very best platform I can for the vocal and trying to keep on top of my game a challenge I will never tire of.
Dismantling the studio today, packers in next Monday, fly to UK Sept 28th. It's been a great two years. Looking forward to another adventure in England!
the word epic came to mind when I first hit play...then it kicked in to the main verses...the emotion of the music and vocal really comes through in this one...really well done lofthouse...Ed
Wow!Epic.Sounds so good-like something from a movie!
I put my heart and soul into this one and your comment made me feel so good!
I;m so glad you like the vocal,as that is really what I do, and appreciate that you mentioned it!
