Behnam.....if you are going to do playing like this we are all goping to be calling you the genius....I listened to the copy you sent several times as well as this one...I know you structure it carefully...yet it comes across as free-form......Domenico makes some good points in his review....Your playiong is just excellent my friend...I will never be able to play the strings that fast in my lifetime....and also important...you have made some obvious variations to keep it interesting...The introduction was unexpected but definitely commands the listeners attention....Now...if you are going to do a CD for download...listeners (and me also) will want you to play longer songs....and I know you can do that....perhaps a little bridge in the middle..and then a new variation of your theme.....You deserve the many compliments our friends on The Loop are giving you Behnam.....(Told you so..HaHa).....Bravo Behnam.....standing ovation......Ed
Master generous words & great adices of yours makes me remember how was forgotten frame of smile on my face ,& thnx alot fr al mastershp encouragements & supports. Ed I've learned never people judge us true . neither when friends call U genius or when a unknown id of a countrymates for unknown reasons calls U such generous words like Wanker and nsyas U should get a muzzle like his horse as U saw they did here with me to appreciate me for showing U foreigners that my country has talents . as I've seen even our parents , our childs , or oure wives to judge us false as We do this mistake about them too , so as I told U another time in mail too never mind to what people call me Ed ..cause I know I don't deserve to be called genius and wanker neither . and master particulary i really don't think playing fast is greatest point of a guitarist .. I should confess tha I played this trial fast cause because of some private matters I was worry for someone who i love her more than my being and i'm sure if i was not worry tempo won't go more than 100 bmp cause personaly I enjoy when I hold my guitar and play his hair smooth and sow and gentle and kind ,and this complicated harmony of this 2 lines is what I enjoy about mathematiX & what depends on my crowded mind .about timing particulary i think 100 seconds is enough cause I think listeners find no way but repeat my traX again and again buT
if Ed,Master is supposed to listen , I'll send him main version of trial which has been about 3 minutes todaY cause he is a special audiance for me whose idea has exclusive value. thnx Ed,master for all your attentions and advices and instructive points & taken time of yours in mails & here too, accept my greatest appreciations, please take care and in the end my best wishes for U .___Behnam
Its been a lucky music day for me Wayne...had a little while to spend catching up a bit on the Loops and what a treat ...finding new posts from my fav artists..I love acoustic instruments so this one is a big treat...Has a bit of a Western, folky vibe and no matter what genre it is I really enjoyed it....Good decision to upload...another fav...Ed
I did the same thing. folk? acoustic? chillout? country? lol!
Acoustic music has always been my favorite, whether it's Pete Seeger or Aerosmith unplugged, I just love the acoustic guitar!! The story behind writing it and it's name is a good personal humorous story.
Thanks for stopping by Ed and appreciate the nice words!
You`ve got my speakers pumping Vis....and now my ears are loving it too...I wondered how it would sound when I looked at the Wav picture...and now I know....that pumping comp really works on this one...very effective in fact...If anyone is movable this one will get them moving...great work again.....Ed
Hey Ed thanx for stopping by my good friend. Really appreciate your kind comments mate. Much appreciated as always.
Peace, Love, Justice & respect.
Vis . . . .
What a nice surprise...yet another piece of musical art from our favourite vocalist....and as a bonus there is some excellent accompaniment music...but as always...the vocal is the star...Excellent...............Ed
I'm in the mood for r'n'b too this moment so I guess you'll soon hear from me, Ed ... :D
Isn't it wonderful to read such warm and encouraging words from one of the best musicians here ?! I'm so lucky and happy !
But don't be too good to me, Ed, I might take your words for granted and really think I can win "France's got talent", hehehe ( see my answer to Chris ) .
Thanks a lot my dear friend and do take care,
kisses
Nice Job on this one Johnny....I like that you have brought quite a few different elements into the mix...I dont mind the sparcer hiphop mixes but find that many of them get very repetative if you listen close to the backing music...Hope you find the vocal you want....well done...Ed
I have the same feeling about other hiphop mixes that's why I decided to make something different, I mean it's indeed ok to have the sort of repetitive hiphop beats but when I listen to them I get annoyed after a while because they stay the same from start to end
You`re raising the HipHop bar a notch SikStyle...I think a lot of us have impressions of the genre but I notice you`ve been bringing in different instrumentation and putting it down around some nice chord progs....its a bit dark but it is effective for the rap....Ed
Candelaria...in answer to your question...if you want to send me a mix to add guitar on..just mail me & I`ll tell you my email...I am not very good at Latin style but I could give it a try if you are not in a hurry..I am not always successful at my attempts....Ed
Hi Polyfronetic....love that drop at 2:50 and the outro...Trance is not often on top of my listening preferences but this is reallyb well done....much enjoyed....Ed
I really like to hear how you (and others here) compose around vocals...for me its a big weakness..play an instrument & I`ll play along but with acapellas I struggle to find the song key & structure (habits of an old rhythm guitar player).......you really done good on this one Steve...It definitely hits the "Dance" genre square on...but it would easily cross over tothe Pop genre considering that a lot of pop now seems to draw on the main elements of dance music...its "Now" music all the way....great stuff mate....Ed
I was just going to stop over here at your place to remind you you were overdue to upload a new one...and now you went and done this....and now you`ve got me all hyped up again just before bedtime....but I`m enjoying the ride anyway...I`ll take a rest tomorrow when I get back to being an old guy again....if this is old school, I`m pre-historic....oh yeah..guess I am...but you bring back those great memories of getting kicked out of the clubs where the girls were....you are a wicked man...and this is (as usual) wicked good.......Ed
Well Saint7x...you have every right to be proud of this one...I don`t have to be an expert in the genre to hear when something is done so well...some great sounds, good compositional thinking here the way you bring them together in some very tasty chord progs...nice quality mix...and most important of all its just dm good listening...I`ll be dl-ing this one for more listens & thanks for that too....great job...Ed
oh no Mr Ed Cunningham I didn't know that is you while writing that comment.
shiiiiittt fuuuuuck my gosh!now Behnam has written I must delet this track .I think you have told him about my comment for you.
i don't need vocal ac tually,i am a vocalist by myself.
i have 2 albums in my country i am a vocal and lyricist.
an interesting mix domr......I like the voval, although there are a couple of little parts ( frrst at 0.55sec) where it distorts slightly in the higher frequencues....the break at 1:18 works really well and the section at 1:45 definitely moves the song into rock land....enjoyed the listen...well done....Ed
I always enjoy the acoustic guitar played straight up and allowed to speak its own tune..I do not have a good knowledge of the classical artists but I have greatly enjoyed artists who bring the latin flavour into a modern perspective...like The Gypsy Kings..well done Candelaria...Ed
a lot of things to like in this one Dazz...starting with the compositional structure itself...vocal is really embellished by the way you have wrapped the guitar parts around (not over) the melody/vocals....tasty piano & strings....overall really well done.....enjoyed the listen....Ed
no fair....the band is plugged with talent....and the resluting music is evidence......great track BedlamKids....much enjoyed.......knew I would.....Ed
Now this is good......it does have a kind of "Danger" vibe...really like the drop/transition around 1:30....Notice you had some talented musical company and must say you brought it together seemlessly...well done chromdom...hope the weather is still being reasonably kind to you over there....stop passing it on to poor souls East of you...haha....Ed
you do my kind of music sr.....thoughtful in it composition...skillful in it execution...patiently building...carrying the vibe intended and drawing the listener into the picture....my playing days created for me a habit of developing the main sections around chord progs I liked and I note that you do it well....Just extra good listening.....enjoyed....well done....You will be welsoming the warmer weather down under while we on the end await the chill........Ed
Thanks Ed. Yes, we are long due some warmer weather here. I reckon the seasons have shifted a month! It might may for some more cheerier music! Thanks for your great feedback.
oh yeah....it was sailing along nicely...and then jumped to a new level that would get the floor paying new attention....very nicely done johnnyproducing.....Ed
I agree Steve...I think you got it right too...its steps aside from the usual in a really good way...aided I think by the way you used the strings and synth bits in combination with the power in the drum tracks...when combined with the vocal it makes for one of those tunes that just seems to hold your attention....right on.....Ed
yeeeehaw...you have gone wild Sherris...haha...this sounds like the parties I might have gone to with my bandmates in my younger days.....long live the blues.....Ed
hehehe i love party and i'm a ballet dancer too Ed.
long live party yuuuuuuup heheh .thank you very much for taking time to listen.it's great to hear from you .
Atusa
wow.....this is wonderfully creative music Sherris...perhaps the musical journey that you have been on in your part of the world gives you some unique ideas ...interesting elements...perhaps a touch of Latin...a little Celtic..some Mid-East..piano is good everywhere...amyway it is a good combination and I particularly enjoy the acoustic instruments and the way you have constructed the composition to keep our listening intersting.....well done to you...Ed
wow this is a pleasure to see your kind words about my music and means alot for me. Ben convinced me about the reasons why he calls you master.and you have a speciall great respect
