Hey Ed...aahh mate your way too kind!..I'm definitely going to be lifting my musical output and want to explore more orchestrated pieces soon with extended acoustic backgrounds...it's heartening to hear a fine musician like yourself enjoying this piece,I was a little concerned it was too haphazard and all over the shop,maybe it is! haha...again thank you for taking the time to listen,I'll be heading down to your page for some Canadian 'windage' (I'm not absolutely certain what this actually means but someone said it in Full Metal Jacket in reference to whiskey and I thought it was cool! lol)..cheers mate Dave :)

I just tried to stay as close, as I could to him wanting to play that thing
or feel that he didn't play but belonged there from an artistic view of
the chord pattern...That's how I do it anyway...Easy Big formulas sound
better as well, simple to maintain the harmonics of the tune...with sustain...
The bounce guitar is just dancing with the hithat...
ED....It's nothing but some music, when you run into something that is fun
to do....Then it becomes a treat and a pleasure...

Thank you Tumbleweed very much on that very well though out comment. N yes thank you for noticing the truest sense of my style. Helping the listener to " Visually Hear" with little words n sound effects is something I'm trying to master. I'm only peaking into the beginning of this style but I promise I will be the best! I really want to bring something almost like Opera and modernize it. In other words, very intense story with little or no words. Except my style enhances sound effects as well so that the listener can almost feel a " First Person Feeling" (almost like if you are in the song) I know this might sound all weird, but this is what I do to keep my uniqueness . Thanks Ed - I'm glad you liked this - I think it works but it is definitely different from my other tracks. Farissa made it easy and it kind of wrote itself.

thanks a lot Ed. really glad you liked this compilation. I agree - it's quite unusual and doesn't necessarily make sense as a whole stylistical suite of pieces. At least that way I could upload more tracks I made recently...

The short, isolated piano notes from the beginning are sampled from the crucethus's song. I played also some smooth chords and repeated piano one note motif in the second section using 4Font Piano plugin adding simple but really nice bassline at the same time. This track was definitely inspired by beautiful pads from the original and I used them a lot when making this version of the remix.

Lots of audio and synth parts in this were made way back around 2002. One of many projects sitting on successive hard drives waiting to be completed as I go through software updates, new gear and techniques and the eventual return to the desire to begin working on them again.

The best bass playing that you're talking about is all from all those years ago. Some fun funk there, for sure.

I actually started out as a bass player in my teenage years but became much more of a guitarist after about 5 years and that's my main skill these days. I don't play bass often though I also often go a week or two without recording (perhaps even picking up) any of my guitars.

5:10 I thought that section might be one of the weaker ones here. It's definitely quite a change from what's preceded it.

And I'm trying to complete a new epic that is probably my greatest ever funk track. Lots of bass guitar in that one too. It's called Bright Side Of The Sun and is coming soonish to The Loop.

P.S. Anyone's free to make suggestions about my stuff. So much going on that I totally appreciate all the other ways that it could have been done. Or could still be done! I do occasionally go back and change things based on/inspired by people's suggestions or criticism.

Ed - thanks so much - you could be a professional reviewer. I tried several outros and this was kind of the default considering that this is supposed to be a dance track and lead into the next track. Thanks for the detailed response!

In a gladiator match I think there are some tension,action and certainly dagerous so its that I wanted to create in a music. I think I did it well. Also a big thanks you ED for this comment

ED, thank you for visiting. I was working at staying true to her original vocals. I thought they had a splash of motown, a bit of R&B, gospel, and her own unique touch. I'm glad you appreciate what I did with it.

Thank you Ed, I had a moment of artistic indulgence and I started to realize that my work around here may not be mainstream, but is a appreciated as a "Musicians musician". For that I am humbled and extremely grateful. Versatility is just my wanting to explore every nook and cranny of music. That curiosity keeps me going.
