Ha funny I actually can relate right now. This girl I been talking to for years acting cray. She deactivates her facebook and changes her #, I got her new number but that got me a lil irritated. Now she don't wanna pick up the phone. She text me but she "forgets" when she's talking to someone through texts. Anywaysss, lol This beat helping me through that right now! Ironic. There's plenty of way better groupies, I mean females at my job anyways. Sick beat bro, peace
Like the oldschool feel to it. Thinking..Samurai Champloo style? Yea, really digs it. Has a nice flare to it that I think is from the guitar. Sick work bro, peace
Really like the combo of the loops. Shout out to all of the loopmakers and you. This has a nice smooth mix too. Digging the bass and rhodes/keys. Quality track here Promenade. Till next time, peace
I have to disagree with your originality statement, most of your work is highly original. But maybe I'm missing something here, anyways nice to see another track from you bro. Interesting mix of electronic, classical and some oriental type of sounds? Nice! Vocals are nice and subtle, not too intrusive. Digs it, I'll be sure to keep an eye for your latest. peace
Hey GC, thank you for being the first on LM to comment on this track! I think you misunderstood my "original" comment... what I meant was that Proximal Vicinity has been dominating my page lately, which I had no hand in composing, where as this is all me. How you interpret the song is pretty much what I was going for... The oriental sounds you speak of are primarily a hammered string sound with some awesome post effects to deepen the vibe, plus subtle sitar sort of sounds in the breaks. I'm very happy that you enjoyed the vocals. It took a while to perform them just how I wanted. I don't know if I've ever spent over a month straight on a song like this without any real breaks. Appreciate the support my friend!
Really dope. Only thing that holds it back is the bass over powering the other instruments. Edit the lows a bit and the mix will flesh out better. Sick work, peace
..Bro. That intro can be transitioned into something pretty dark and epic I think. It kind of fits the idea for my EP Mecha EXE Legion, I've been pretty immersed in dnb lately. Maybe we can transform this into a dnb production? Let me know what you think. Either way I just wanted to share ideas or maybe contribute some of mine if you want. I like what it transitioned to, it has a 8 bit nature to it. Kind of sci fi/cinematic too. I just see more potential within...so yea. If you wanna collab, let me know! peace
Nice. Like the choppage in this one. (The gated like synth) The drums need some work though. The arrangement was well done though, digging that intro. The sound is great as well, just would of like more done with the drums. Some bass or a deep sub is really essential within dnb too. Don't get me wrong, I still like this production. The main synth or whatever is amazing though. Just needs more, keep it going! peace
I think it sounds pretty damn amazing with just the piano. I didn't have much of a problem with the vocals. They fit the vibe of the song nicely. It could use a dubstep remix....but I love the piano as instrument so much that I think that might ruin it.
For me at least. Didn't see much wrong with it as a piece alone, it could fit for a transition into the dubstep remix next instead. As if it was a mix or part of a collection. An intro track.
But I really dig this though man, has a real somber chilled out mood. Great job, peace
Sup. Nice sounds on this one, good snare rolls. Definitely fits the Halloween theme, tried to make it to fright fest in six flags but maybe next year. Oh well, pretty nice beat. Would of liked a bit more done with the arrangement and the mixdown is a tad too loud. Who am I kidding though, TURN UP. Till the next one, peace
Hey man good to hear from you, as always thx for the comments. I did try to do more to the sound but when I did some of the sound was too low and I wasn't getting the feel I wanted, there are so MANY sample on this track that it was a pain mastering ever single one I think I missed some after my mind went blink, so I like fk its good enough. Well thx for stopping by mate and I will stay tuned for your next work as well.
Great instrumentation, really nice drum rolls and breakdowns. Outdoes the vocals though for sure. I agree with DJshemzee too, they could also be a bit louder. Excellent guitar playing and the mix is pretty nice. No real critiques except the vocals, overall arrangement was pretty dope. Very nice job, peace
Chilled dnb. Nice remix here Promenade! I like how you still kept in that snare. (It may be a different sound though, not sure) The drums are a bit iffy at times but they still blend together well. Love the synths and atmospheres. Relaxes me. I've had a stressful hectic year so this definitely helped. Great work, peace!
hi Gramo, sorry for slow reply.
that snare is on the dnb drum loop I used - maybe it sounds like this because of unusual mixing, I do not know. This is one of my first songs in the genre - I do not listen to much to dnb at the moment so let's say it's still an experimental track of mine. Anyway the 'iffy' drums you mentioned are from sampled crucethus's song - I couldn't separate pads from drums.
Really nice to hear this music could have that kind of relaxing impact.
Thanks a lot for your comment - it is appreciated! Alex
Your best yet. The piano sounds superb except for a small bit after 1:06. Sounds a lil out of tune. Loving the break down with the drums, the snare that hits every other bar or so is nice. I like that wave like pad after 5:15. Spaced out vibes. Would of also liked to hear a bit more done with the drums. Otherwise, really like this track, excellent job. peace
1:08 I am jammin all the keys with intense emotive expression, and yes................. I hit a wrong note...good ear. I am not a trained Pianist so this was new territory for me back in 2003. But I like that there is this fault in the composition. I may revisit this in a modern way so who knows what will come of the modern mix in the future. As Always thanks for your insight and appreciate the props.

Plus for it ending at 4:20. lol Nice to see you with another track, really digging the piano. Synths are nice, could of done a bit more with the beat though. Maybe add a snare. It's only a suggestion but still manages to work well without a snare because the other instruments. Nice tune SJ! peace
Sup man, so digging the sounds used. What is the bpm of this one? The drums kind of have a roll to them but it seems slower paced compared to what dnb usually is. More house I guess but I've never been big on genres. It's all just music to me. Really like the arrangement to this, synth combinations are really nice. Great work Geophase! peace
Groovy production. Chilled out vibes are really nice. Synths are aquatic like in the background. Nice airy feeling, no real critiques on this one. Magnificent vibe. peace
Very melodic, could fit in a new megaman x game. Or a fanmade video. Most of the series soundtracks has many melodies. I digged it man, Excellent work. peace
This Vicissitude track sure has attitude. An underrated track on here for sure. Definitely more drum step than drum & bass. But very nice production, well done on this. peace
Nice chilled out dnb track. (Basically liquid dnb) Good work for a first attempt. Colorful synths and nice melodies. Ended abruptly however but still was a nice first attempt. Digs it! Keep working, peace
Thanks man. It was a preview to the main track so I posted it on here so people could see how good it was and if I could make adjustments or something.
