Odd choice of sounds. Works really well though, has a bit of retro feel to it for some reason. Sounds like a theme to a industrial like city. Like the dubstep wub later around the 2 min mark. Really creative production, digs it. peace

Yeah, some of the sounds were actually inspired by sounds I heard at a factory where I worked for a while. Thanks for the feedback.

Really smooth dnb track here bro. I got some real chilled liquid type of dnb tracks I need to finish. I have some uploaded now if your interested. One is finished and the other isn't. This is also the 2nd track I've heard on here that reminds me of a Kirby soundtrack. Great work here, peace

Deep mellow chill vibes. I actually gotta a new track I'm working on incorporating some electric piano and chords. This one is pretty smooth, real chill nature to it. I'm in a chill mood but that's pretty much always after a long day's work. lol But naw, I've gotten some extra music work done and other stuff. Anyways, real grooving production bro. peace

Nice one steve. Really like the hypnotic lead, and the synths sound psychic like. You've given me some ideas actually. A psychic Mecha UNIT? O-M-G!! I will commemorate the track in honor of this track just because it gave me the idea. It has been written. Very nice production my friend. Till the next time and another crazy...mecha track. *Slight evil grin* Stay tuned, I will as well. peace

Sounds like an awesome idea! A psychic Mecha UNIT that is able to assume control over its victims mind -- terrifying. Thanks for listening.

I seriously can't stop listening to this beat, maybe it's because the length. (Or just how good it is) This makes we want to get back rapping. And listening more, this has a oldschool Wayne vibe with the early dedication mixtapes and the squad up days. I can possibly even hear this on Wayne's Carter 5. And he should REALLY go back to this type of sound, the quality is just way better. I'm not even just saying this bro, see if you could send him this beat or something. Just an idea, don't have any doubts. I officially declare this a legendary track of looperman. Really dope once again, peace

I hear some monumentally important lyrics being spit on this. Makes me miss it, real rap that is. The deepness to it all and the raw authenticity and talent. Where is it now? Perhaps it has evolved... but what is it evolving into? For that..I fear. This is classic sounding though bro, seriously. Dope. peace

Agree with DW01, dig the cello on this one. Sounds aggressive in a subtle way, dark vibes from this one. Love the tension of it and those strings..excellent! Piano is a plus, dig this one man. Smoking one as we speak too, good ish bro. peace

on In Your Face Instrumental by terrancet
Nice one. I agree with the your response to BEATZMODE, there's always something to be improved. As producers and artists we truly are our own worse critic. Practice is key, consistency and almost obsessiveness at times.

That's part of what I think it takes to become truly great and a master of the art. But yea, I do think this one needs a bit of work though, nice ideas with the synths. Drums are lil low but I like a minimal approach with my drums as well.

I try to keep my reviews as unbiased as I can as sometimes (at least for me) artists/producers do things a certain way for a deeper meaning. Or it was just intentional. I appreciate things like that, the raw manifestation of your work so to speak.

We are human, so we are flawed. That's just what it is. We cant strive for perfection but that word itself sounds so void to me. Flaws are what humanizes us. Anywayssss, dope work still bro just keep the ball rolling. peace

Drums... Yes. They may have lost it value while gain staging. I am my worst critic. I want to update it but I have a few artists that are working with it. Yeah I need to learn more production tips and tricks to make better beats. Mixing is my biggest problem so far now. I need to learn more and read more on it to successfully do it right.

Listening again. There might be a few instances, the first one was around the :47 mark. Another one after 1:34, it's the dun dun part that sounds out of key maybe. The same with the :47 mark. Still very good, piano is my favorite instrument so I've grown accustomed to it. Great work, peace

For someone who doesn't smoke, this one sounds like you were smoking. Completely trippy. The bassline is pretty proper sounding too. Great work SJ. I deleted my other track so I'm returning the care face. ;) There, that's all you get. I did that one before too. You have now depleted your careface usage from member Gramo Chopin. Please don't complain in the response after the peace. Downloading and faved, peace (lol)

First I just wanna say R.I.P to whoever passed away in your fam. I respect the dead. Anyways nice tribute track, a bit experimental for you. I'm used to those sick trap beats of yours. And seriously though, are you a guy or a girl? lol Anybody can be anyone on the internet and alot of people's profiles pics are misleading sometimes. But yea nice work with the experimenting on this one yo, till the next one. peace

haha thanks, Experimental was how I got started in music and this doesn't feel too out of the box from all the trap and bass that's going around lately. Im trying to get away from the straight hiphop oriented trap beats and into some more electronic edm style trap and bass stuff, I feel theres a stronger future for me there and its much more fun to make. Ill try and keep it a little closer to home for the fans of the more traditional trap music, thanks for the advice. Guessing you maybe haven't heard that much trap and bass but if you get time check out Fooled by Buku and Core by RL Grime. Id like to make music I can perform on stage and that's the main reason Im heading this direction, plus Its hard to push instrumental hiphop beats these days with so many producers out there. Just my thoughts on it all... always appreciate the feedback homie. Its my friend jamies picture

So I'll be real with you, your one of the people I was directing my vent at. You may or may not have seen it but forget the petty stuff right now. I really dig this track man, like the usage of keef's vocals too. You listen to em? I really just like the beats aka drill music. I don't agree with any of his ignorance but he's rather entertaining. lol He's probably the most unique rapper out right now, just something about his approach. Anyways, sick work man. Keep it going, peace

Oh bro , this comment made my day. Thanks you so much for your input! N yes I do listen to tha Keef!!!!, I even listen to Kanye West!!(but just keep that between you and I ;) ,I also happen to very much agree with you. when it comes to producing music, whether is from good influence or bad. You the producer can change however u want it to become. You can either change bad influenced music to good, or vice versa. only you can change the message! Thanks for your kinds words, n I will be keeping in touch:)-EazyBeatz

I thought the piano sounded pretty great, especially at the more complicated parts. That Pentatonix track is pretty creative too. I saw it a while ago. Back with the piano, so far I've only heard one small part a lil off in key. But otherwise after that small part the piano was played very well. Nice work man, peace

LOL you don't know how much your comment response made me smile. (I read this while I was at work too) I still won't type any faces though, I just don't do all that. (Often at least)

I've actually thought about being a writer of some sort before. I used to write alot of poetry and lyrics over the years. But I don't do that as much as opposed to what I type on the net or where ever else. (Music pages, youtube etc) Not facebook anymore, I'm tired of facebook. You find out who your friends are and whose merely there for some attention or because they want something. Don't get me wrong, everyone loves a lil attention and company and what not.

But when I want my "space" for example, (key word) everyone can just f off to put it bluntly. People are CONSTANTLY updating the newsfeed with mundane unimportant events. Anyways, sorry there's more to it than that but your not my shrink or anything lol

And yea I was high, why not? Non smoker huh? That's cool, it's definitely not for everyone though. Just do what comes naturally to you

So no carefaces from you then!

Anyhow - you should write more.
I'm kind of the same when it comes to Facebook, it's fun for a while and then I just couldn't care less.
So now I need my space - careface!

Dream like vibes, those drums are set at a smooth pace. Calms me down. Nice snippet so far SJ, I don't use FL much. How is it for you? Some of the layout is a lil bit of a mess for me but I guess it depends on the individual workflow of a producer/artist. I've used it but it's just not my forte, my current preferred is using Reason with Logic in unison. !!!-Okay I didn't notice that until just now..reason...and logic. I'm sorry that just surprised me because I really didn't notice that until now. Makes sense now, ha. Nice work once again SJ, peace

Hi Gramo - first of all: I DO like your Gramo Style trap, I've figured it out now. =D
Secondly: I only use FL, mainly because that's what I have at the moment but I'm dreaming about learning and using the other DAW's. Reason is a bit hard for a newbeginner to figure out (or was it Logic? Or both??) but YES whenever I get the chance (a new computer for starters) I'll get in to those and what not. There is a huge difference in the sound quality, I know that.

Thirdly: Are you high or something??! =D Reason...logic...
It's fun to read your reviews, I go around reading them on other peoples tracks too just because it's like a diary from your life. It's interesting! And amusing a lot of times. You should consider becoming a writer, if you already aren't one. I'm not joking!

Thanks for listening.

Sick chorus and beat but your vocals are off. Rushing your lines my dude but true that man, learn some! Take notes, nothing's giving gotta earn some! Nice! I agree with the killing for colors in your lyrics too..gotta big gang problem out here in Chicago. Idk if you've been following on the Chief Keef and drill movement but these guys are crazy out here. One of his cousin's got killed and many affiliates have already been murdered. There was 15 shootings one day this summer, there was one from across the street from me too. And I live by the fricking lake. Anwyays, good stuff here though bro. Just take care of those vocals, peace
