i like your synth sounds and the effects. the melody is very happy, upbeat. I actually agree with you. i do feel a vocal for this. do you hope the vocalist will come up with the lyrics or you are not necessarily looking for lyrics?
2:14 brings it all down to start again, but with all the knowledge and learning that you bring to it from the first section. It is a compelling track. the bottleblow, or pan flute, or what ever that sound is, gives it a unique flavor which is really exotic and I love your work. congrats.
that's so cool how you raise the pitch of your one vocal clip towards the beginning. wondering how you do that. lots of energy and good clean mixing hear. Keep going. real good stuff. peace.
at the beginning it almost had a fife and drum sort of revolutionary war military sound! interesting use of repetition and good steady build. you hold the interest well. neat concept. congrats!
very original soundscape you create. i like the way the piano keeps "interrupting" the flow. it creates an off balance feel along the with overall dreamy feel. nice work.
i was properly chilled and then the guy announces at the end he is about to throw up! now there is a reality check! LOL. nice work brother. beautiful arrangement
i listened up to 4:44 - making a beautiful transition into your second section. everything sounds great. it was a really nice build from 3:00 to 3:30. always learning from your work brother. best wishes. Dan
lots of color in your work. and very sophisticated mixing for sure. enjoy a lot and learn a lot. very impressed that you are playing all of this (as opposed to programming). great work. big congrats!
Wow so much positive feed back on this one. It just make me smile. Midisparks thanks again for the positive feedback and the recognition. Hope your Holidays are good.
i like your combination of orchestral and electronic sounds. especially from 1:50 on you really seem to have found your way with the orchestration. it's nice to have a new track from you to follow. all the best! Dan
Hi Dan,
Thank you for listening and for your comments, been a bit tough of late but hopefully now back doing what I love!
thanks again and best wishes,
Mark
intense opening. really impressed with how you bring it down and make a long build. really holds my interest. congrats on the breakthrough with the bass drum. that's a big deal for real.
I never heard of "drumstep" I was thinking of dubstep. either way it is spot on. excellent use of effects. like how you take it down again at 1:46. great work! fun!
Drumstep represents the combination of "Drum & bass " and "Dubstep". It's 174 BPM but you can hear more dubstep sounds than DnB sounds. It became very popular in last 2 years and as you can hear it's much faster than regular dubstep... Hope I cleared some things, thank you for your feedback and take care, I really appreciate it ;)
beautiful use of nature effects. beautiful mix. you paint a really mellow picture my friend. I can float with this and the bar maid for a minute! thoroughly enjoying it.
lovin' the scale. and the beat. and pretty much everything else about this hard hitter. I'm at 1:40. serious trippy sounds. very fresh work! love it! and smart ending too. big congrats!
well done. trick seems to be always adding something to maintain interest and you get that. nice work technically also. I like before the last bit when she whispers unaccompanied. cheers.
an epic, cinematic feeling hear. a rich tapestry of mythic imagery, ghosts included of course. beautiful sounds, beautiful mixes. you guys are ready for the movies. best of luck promoting this high level, professional work.
you have an artistic sense of bringing us to the very edge of the cliff and then pulling us back, over and over! love your grooves, your choices of sounds, the emotional development in the track. sensational work. big learning here for me. big congrats! Dan
Hey Dan, good to hear from you! Had a great and painful time putting this song out, and I'm happy it's good enough... don't really want to go back there. Having fun building synth stuff now. Really appreciate the comment and listen... not to mention the invite to your site! Thanks!
