very elegant transition with reverse cymbal into the kick drum section. i like the sustained harmonies. has a very peaceful, spiritual feel. nice inspiration!
wow. that high-end rumble gave my speakers a little workout for real. this is awesome, insane, fresh stuff. the loops are cool and your mix is aggressive as hell. good work. fav.
It was actually kind of inspiring hearing George Bush words. You have a nice nack for fitting narrative into your tracks. I liked that a lot. Look forward to discovering more of your stuff. peace.
original sound and sounds. the beat and the vocal is very happy and I'm loving it! i see you have a lot of good work on youtube as well. best of luck with everything! Dan
technically excellent work and enjoying it a lot! nice choices of instruments and nice transparent mix. probably would have to raise the "epic" level for the club.
if this is unmixed, I can't wait to hear the mixed version. beautiful choices and combinations of sounds. very musical. a big fav. congrats on your work! look forward to hearing more. regards - Dan
interesting wave form! i like your synth sounds and effects a lot. and the drums are beautifully mixed in. the upbeat section was a pleasant surprise. thought you were gonna keep going with that but you turned a corner again! seems like you have several interesting sections ready for more development which is great. good luck getting back on your feet from losing data. that is hard. regards. Dan
sounds great. always keeping up the energy. lots of nice contrasts. I like your lead synth solo and how you bring it back in the last section. great ideas and mix here.
nice work with your vocal mixing. neat sound. strong rapping also. sad subject for song of course - but I guess we try to celebrate a person's life when they pass and there is an energy hear that speaks of that bitter sweet celebration, of "cherishing the moments together." best regards.
It's always fresh to hear a piano in the mix - and yours is kicking just right. WOW! great mix. you have a good sense of timing when to bring things down and then back up again with some variation - new synth for example. that was interested "revealing" one of your sounds a capella at the end. nice work. best regards.
fantastic unique sound. great ideas. really digging this. that bass sound has a neat scraggly tail. those alien girls are hot! brilliant concept and really fun to listen to! congrats!
it's a beautiful landscape. very dreamy. yes - in my limited understanding of the genres it is somewhere in the trance/chillout domain. that heartbeat drum and stick going throughout the track is very effective with respect to creating the hypnotic effect. beautiful work. nice to crank this mix up on my desk monitors. fav!
Would never think of trance, but maybe you're right...could be a bit in it...we are all listening to different genres, so sometimes something just fall together subconsciously.
Thanks alot mate for this generous review and for the 'fav' ofcourse...:)
you created a beautiful sound and it is an inspiring message and delivery. at 47 seconds in it is a magical transition to the fuller sound of main part. fascinated by this kind of wave form (hitting flat out on the top and bottom). that is a hard limiter effect I believe? best regards? Dan
Yes it is a hard limiter :P I use the free 2007 limiter made by Steve Massey. Quite useful. It was one of the best out on the market during its release, since it's algorithm analyzes (in a unique way) the song and allows for a more purified compression.
nice touch with that wrap up motif at the end. I really enjoy the "bed track" as you describe it. Makes so clear to me how important that background foundation is. And that it sustains continuously with all sorts of interesting variation speaks so much to me about how to possibly approach this chill genre. Always learning from your stuff brother. Always enjoying. best regards. Dan
Thanks Man...

I love harmonics and dancing with in their borders, by using as
little movement a possible so not to disturb or change but weave
in between dancing with all the instruments involved ending or
beginning on any one of them in the picture...
Never did liked dancing to fast anyway, I'm a hold them close

Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for your kind words...
neat guitar work! it can't be easy to put together a "live band" jam session like this sharing tracks online. It is a very convincing performance. well done!
neat use of a variety of loops. you really had some fun with this one! At 3:08 you bring in a new section that adds some nice new interest to the track. Nice work. Look forward to discovering more of your stuff. glad you found a home for a few of my loops! regards!
that is powerful - that guy at the beginning. what is he saying? "your mine" "your mine" is that right?
very rich atmospheric mix. I cranked it up a bit to fully enjoy. beautiful blend of sounds and a deep feeling - yes - the feeling of loss. beautiful work.

you paint a dark, evocative picture of something very scary and threatening lurking. It is rich, interesting stuff. you have nice control over that kick drum!! very inspiring work. congrats.
I'm glad you enjoyed it. My work is usually a little darker than most people on Looperman, so it means quite a bit when people still like my work enough to comment on it to let me know they like it.
That kick drum is about 3 different kicks layered, EQ'd and compressed. D3ERILICT had suggested they're too far back in the mix. I may try bringing them up a little. If they sound better, I'll re-upload as an edit.
Thanks again for taking the time to leave some kind words. I appreciate it greatly.
it all hangs together really nicely. it is good to explore the quieter end of the dynamic/emotional spectrum - there are subtle touches here that I really enjoyed. nice job.
Thanks Man...

Thanks a lot Dan for checking this one out and your nice comments! - some of the new equipment seems to really work for me now as I spent on this only 2,5h. It's relatively a short track but I must say I can work much easier now.
it's a good feeling listening to this. the synths are sweet and the strings give it a bit of a nostalgic touch. I imagine you are still thinking about an ending or continuing the track. lots of places you could go with it. congrats on your work. best of luck. Dan
love that sudden tempo change at 2:40. that was impactful as hell! can't find any shaming opportunities so far. the aquatic effect is great! justs great ideas and execution all the way through. huge fav!
This is one of my favorites now. Aquatic sound is a ring modulator with a random shifting effect and some heavy delay.
As for your private inquiry, someone else would be better for you. I kinda stay to myself after a bad experience here. No offense. I appreciate your consideration.

this is all an illusion. music is an illusion, sorry to say. live performed or digitalized it is only a thought (which is an illusion in itself).
again sorry for such a spiritual tone here. hope you do not mind anyway.
thanks for checking out my tune and nice comments. it is appreciated.
best to you, alex
