Description : This is a track I did when I found out my voice was
going in a bad way...
After some depressed moments in time, I came to the
conclusion my guitar could be my voice, it only stands
to reason I learned to play inside, the melodies of
voice-ings and in fact you can play, anything you can sing...
So this 87 Tele. and 75 Strat. are now my voice... Maybe.
Hahahaha...My Fender Per. Bass on the bottom...
Hope you all Enjoy...CAN-A-MER publishing reg. 2014

Nice to see this one getting some attention TG...I know I commented before...but I was thinking that all that snow & winter storms you guys have been getting down your way must be keeping a lot of folks homebound...good time to do some more music...I have a brother down in your Prov.and I think his place is pretty much burried......I would help you shovel, but my chiropractor is already getting rich by my just trying to keep the driveway clear here...keep on & all the best...Ed
Yep..been digging for days now, that's just around the house
drifts up over, all the windows and doors...MF'er...
Driveway my boy comes by with his Tractor Blower, 300ft driveway
wouldn't even think of doing that...
But he can't get close to the house, wish he could...
Got a few big young guys, down the road they got girls friends
and need money, if we get anymore they'll have the money... :-)
Then your brother knows how I feel...Cause I feel his pain..
Wonderful track: funky with some sadness.
The work on the guitar is really outstanding: the solo at 1:11 is "tormented" at the right point.
The only thing I am not too fond of is the drum-part: it sounds a bit too "drum-machine-like". But I say the same on many tracks from the Sign-o-the-Times album... so it may just be my problem :-)
Ciao, Domenico
Thanks...Mr.
Tormented...Have not heard that in a long time, " I was very much so"
not so much any more these days... :-)
All the guitar sounds and the drums, are the ( Digitech-RP355 )
this was one of the first tracks, I did with this Processor...
It has about 40 different Drum Kits and all the variations there of
sound wise...
Now I just use the click track, to lock BPM's to a track...
Every now and then I may use a cymbal crash or something
but that's it...For Drums now I use the Alesis-SR18 much more
flexible in every way...
singing is central I agree. I vocalize most mornings even though I would not put my voice out there for folks. that you get this concept is obvious from your expressive and flexible guitar work. thoroughly enjoyed your track. and I hope you rediscover a new actual voice. cheers.
Yes I can talk... But I've lost my range and the control I once had
in my singing voice...
I know what a good voice should sound like, and I don't have it
anymore...
But the Guitar works well as a replacement...
Glad you enjoyed it...
hi. this is cool. I am in a funky mood now and it is sounding really fine like this. for me it is definitely a pop kind of oriented funk. a perfect track to sing over some great bnb/blues song. it might be very hard to find a proper vocalist that way though... I mean... I put so much effort to reach the musicians on this site personally but still find the 'collab' thing as extremely challenging.
Good luck!
I really enjoyed your song. Alex
Yes...Alex thanks for stopping in...
I'm not really looking for someone to sing this, this track
is not about love or pleasure, it's about frustration and pain
nobody wants to hear that in words...So I'll leave it just Music...
"Collabs"...Are hard if you have a controlling producer that wants
you to play what he, wants you to play...
I don't work like that anymore, this is just fun for me I don't want
to email and talk for a week, about a track unless there is a
potential payday at the end...
I just don't have the time other wise...
Yeah...Not really looking for any words, know body want to hear
the things I was saying, this was way more then Adult Content
and I won't even want to go there now...
Glad you liked the Guitars...
Can understand that you feel frustrated, but to sing THIS track realy good, the most will have some problems :) .....
Very cool track for my opinion and words come while listen. But they come and come and come and come. Like a fast rap but sung in a funk style ..... very powerfull ..... I am realy not sure that i could preform this track in one go :)
And you have your guitars ... I even cant play realy barre.
I like the track and hope you will not be to frustrated any longer ......
I'm over it now, that was a moment in time that we all, have to face
at one point in our life...There is just no way around it, as you get
older...And we all do that...
This was my therapy and it worked... :)
Really glad you like the track and NO...I don't think anyone could sing these line, unless they've been where I've been and feel what I feel....
Well, I came back in reply to your reply and comment on my track. I guess upon listening again, I will try to be more clear regarding the high hats. What I meant about the crispness was regarding comparison to the rest of the mix. The hats seem like the loudest part of the mix, with the most "presence." The seem to make the other drums sound very distant, while at the same time masking some of the guitar frequencies. I realize this is an unmastered track, but I can't help but think that mastering would be more successful if the balance was enhanced. I also realize that this is funk, and that is often very punchy in the high frequencies. Don't worry about my opinions too much, as funk is not my genre of choice by any means, and my ears are obviously very strange when it comes to drums and percussion... Just ask StaticNomad...heh. Thank you for your reply!
Hey, really groovy sounding stuff here! Love the guitar tones very much! "I won't quit" sounds like me when talking about tobacco... heh. The high hat part is very crisp, maybe too much so, but who am I to judge? Having a lot of fun listening! Seems like someone around has made a bit of a funk craze happen. Good work!
Thanks...Man
Really glad you enjoyed it and took time to comment...
And the drums are a little top heavy all together, I didn't
Master this track it's just a strait up mix...
So I figure if and when I do that, I'll knock the top off a bit
basically those soft touches, are the last thing you do...
I just haven't gotten around to it yet, plus it doesn't bug me
to much now...But thanks for pointing that out...
Mr. Funk pushed all, the right buttons and the loop packs so
blame it on him... :)
just keep playing that Tele, Strat & P bass TG...and I will keep tuning in...they provide you with a great voice the way you use them...I think I last did vocals in youthful band days (assisted by a couple of brews) but discovered that I had neither the voice or confidence to do what I wanted....This is finkin good listening my friend.....loved it....keep em coming.......Ed
Thanks Ed...
I hear auto tuning today, and I laugh at how they use it on those
that can't sing, in fact couldn't carry a note around the corner...
I have to use my guitar because I know I can't sing anymore but
they never could sing and use a tuner... What a joke...
Description : 'Love will find you at the right time'...This track is about how we vibrationally attract love. From my recollection, in the early 20s/teen years, a typical place to encounter this wonderful force was the Disco. (Kay)
'I always wanted to produce a funk and soul song, as I love the rhythms and vibe. I hope you like my first attempt at this. Many thanks to Darren Hirst for his great bassline' - Oli.

Description : It a funky tune and its purpose is to make you move your heads and your bodies to the rhythm. Made with Steinberg's free Sequel 3. I really hope you will enjoy it.
You can view the video on my YouTube channel.
Description : Continuing my journey with sampling. This was mostly an accident, and not where I originally thought it would go but I'm happy with the destination. I started with the track Real Reel Switcher by Eunice Russ Frost, which has a slower melancholy swing to it, however I've been playing a bunch of older video games lately, with SSX being in the mix heavily, so this track ended up taking on a bit of that for inspiration as well. Would love your thoughts.

Description : A Dark Funk tune , with a touch of Nawlin's jazz funeral procession. Midi-sparks asked me to do a Halloween song for his competition, and so here it is!
Description : Updated 12/2/2022. This is an interesting redo of a funky and fun composition. I gave it more polish by switching to a different drum kit, swapped the flute solo for a synth, then infused more flavor into the guitars, bass and organ. Then lastly tweaking the final master. Can you tell the difference? Let me know. Enjoy.
Description : 3rd track of my future vocaloid album, Acerbus 2.Many thanks to Venuslove for the vocals, MrFunktastic for the Funk bass, Strings (left and right), and the robotic sound mainly at the beginning of the song. and Atlasblue for the Snares (sorry atlasblue that I couldn't include you in the title, only 50 characters allowed, thus I ran out of space)
Description : This is the first production for STAR TRAVELS in collaboration between MICKY (LM) and JYNXZ (LM).

Jynxz: synths / bass / rhodes / clavinet
Description : Everything is recorded live, so you probably hear that. It's also all me :$
Thanks to everyone who contributed in explaining what I did wrong in the engineering, mixing and mastering, especially Ben (bringerofDOOM). Looperman is truly an awesome community and thank you all. Did I say you guys are awesome?
