on Suddenly I am in Space by cellardoor
it's neat this idea of tracing, through songs, a woman's journey. I like the lyrics a lot. best of luck with this going forward!

on Gravity Falls 8bit v2 by FrozenStick
why would there be a concern about violating copyrights? I really enjoy these chiptunes because a lot of my earlier tracks gravitated toward that sound (according to those in the know on this site!. Are you going further with this? Cheers!

wow! you are one talented rapper, dude! If this is free form that is outrageous. even if it is rehearsed, the delivery is very very strong. good luck on this one. Keep going!

Here is a sign of a great mix. I took off my headphones and things sounded just a clear and rich through my speakers. beautiful work. love that icy cool synth sound. regards.

on Bounce - Original Mix by GoldenOokami
I think you have a great track going here. Nice variation of sections and a happy, solid energy throughout. My approach to refining would be adding little details here and there and generally finding ways to enhance the mix, bring out voices, etc. Best of luck developing further. best regards - Dan

Thanks man! I am actually getting used to actually editing my tracks and what not now. Any/Everything before my track, Hit It Comrade has no type of compression or anything whatsoever, essentially having everything in its most natural sound, but I'm teaching myself to rework things. I appreciate your words. Hopefully overtime, thing's will be much better. Cheers!

on Graver Kadaver - Quasiminder by EySchmidti
you have all the elements balanced nicely. like the snare sound you are using. I hear, as a possibility, some contrasting section which perhaps features a solo instrument with a somewhat less intense accompaniment.

on Fever - Peggy Lee cover by ScottB55
i really love the jazz drum riffs. beatiful, classic stuff. a great nod back to a great old tune that won't die. it will be even better when (not if) you find the vocalist!
ScottB55
ScottB55 replied 7th Nov 2015 - 10 years ago
Thanks allot, MS. Glad you like it. Shelly Mann did a great drum track with one of her versions, so was inspired by his style. He played his toms with his hands. It's on youtube if you want to check it out.

Cheers,
Scott

the opening has a dark, ritualistic feel which certainly goes with the season. I know this 'pella by Soleilxlune. this is a great incorporation. well done.

on Beatnik Dream by PDMuzak
I agree with what has been said about the musicality on parade here. The flute and sax solos are very smooth. all the best. Dan
PDMuzak
PDMuzak replied 17th Oct 2015 - 10 years ago
Thanks, the flute and sax tracks were directly recorded from my keyboard. The rest were all VSTs keyed from my keyboard. PDMuzak

on -Hide- by FatalDecline
solid guitar playing. very smooth, rhythmical. the basics count for a lot. I guess the placement of vocals is a matter of taste. You could have put them in front of the mix, but as they are it offers a cool, creepy new color on more of an equal level with other instruments. very effective track. congrats!

on frederick by joecramer
very beautiful, introspective mood you sustain. I can only imagine (since my German ist nicht besonders stark) that the lyrics are dark and brooding since your vocal delivery gives that effect. phatkatz4 is always great with the spooky ambience, solid drum tracks. wonderful collab. fav. cheers.
joecramer
joecramer replied 13th Oct 2015 - 10 years ago
Thanks a lot.

A little german is better then nothing :)
For all who can't german realy, i put the original words of frederick b. also into the lyrics.

But you get it right. Dark stuff, bad guy, sad story ......
In a way i hate him for doing what he did for sure
but he was an american and they killed him for what he did in a gas chamber.
And in a way, both things don't make me feel comfortable.

I tryed to capture that feeling

Nice to know that you think it's a fav.

stay tuned

very neat vocal sound and nice build. is it really dub? it could be hip hop, no? anyway, if that is the final it is very cool in its brevity. but really you could keep going with this one. nice work. all the best. Dan
