on NOTHING by kerry
I like the instrumentation on this track. You might try to pull the vocals back little cause they are sitting right on top of everything and not blending too well.

Nice Job...kinda funny that you named it what you did because it has kind of an urban dream state feel to it to me.

Sorry for the long response time. Urban dream state is a cool description. I love when people come up with stuff like that about my tracks. Welcome to purple by the way! If you're still interested I'd love to collab on something for my old "I treat my girl with respect" track as well.

on A Little Blues Jam by Jeff05C
NICE! THe sounds are all so well selected/mixed together. I tried forever to get some people to gether to jam with, and could never get anybody on the same page, bandwise...so I just do everything myself now and I don't worry about if someone can't be there, or if all they want to do is get drunk. My DAW always makes it to practice and never gets too high!

Thanks for the shout. Ya it's nice to rely on your self, but I still need that group interaction and love jamming with people. There is something great about dealing with all aspects of a composition and seeing it through to the end though.

on Thabang ft Nightingle - BlowYouUp by Thabang
I thought it was cool even if it's not what nightingale had in mind. I do agree about the complimentarty pad part (synth), but just play with it and have fun "in a craaazzy way"! lol...Nice work man!

on BRAZILIAN LOVE AFFAIR by zappo
I LOVE the Brazilian Flaminco! It's so unique and quick in the groove! I could have listen to it dry,,,but ofcourse PJB with that fat bass... He always makes it sound fretless with his finger movements and it just makes the song pop! This is so relaxing and the reversed lead is a slick effect. "More please" =7)

on Control re master by highz
Man... I gotta be honest and tell you that I know NOTHING about Deep House... but I do know music. This is a nice piece of work man. I love the flow of the song. The panning you do in the mastering is really cool. This was a nice journey and I liked how it came back around 6:00!

on Hannibals journey by Paulkeus
This is tight! I like the strings that flow through it... and the horns. It's like Fresh Prince meets the Far East! "swammies just don't understnad"! This is a fine piece of work!

on The Human Zone by Planetjazzbass
Aww man this is slick. I LOVE the bassline (obviously I would coming from you, sir), and Slap softly over top! Are you playing a fretless? I love the smooth sound of a fretless, the way it has no defining boundries of what the note should be other than the artists movement! And the rhythym section gently carries this through. 4th Fav on LM! OUTSTANDING!

Planetjazzbass replied Unknown
Hi Ken..thanks for the cool review mate..actually this is a fretted bass (Fender Jazz of course! lol) I play only with my fingers and very close to the bridge using only the bridge pickup, that's where I get that 'Jaco' tone..in fact my favourite Jaco tune 'Teen Town'is performed by him using his fretted bass....awhile back I sold my fretless five string..and I'm looking for a four string one at the moment..cheers mate Dave :)

on Pretty Woman Walking on Sun by Cetche
AAAAHH! A very tasty treat indeed! I think this is absolutely Jazz and not chill, and I really like it! Sounds like something off of "the local on the eights" from the Weather Channel, and that's a compliment! Very nicely done!

on rest in peace by Luckyfeatherstudios
Dude I'm going to be honest cause I like what you do, but kill the auto tune and don't use it ever again! J/K ... (but I hate those freakin things) You got a good voice when you flo, but the singing is ... not so much! You need to get a better mic/pop screen and focus on the straight flo that you have and do some accapellas on here. I bet you'd get a lot of downloads. I'd use them if it was nice and clean and smooth cause your voice sounds that good to me... use what ya got man, and foget about the American Idol auditions!

on Form Of Art Prod By MplustT by Luckyfeatherstudios
Yeah man- this is really nice. Alividlife gave you some really good tips, this is great but you can hear the vocals are off (sound quality wise), when compared to music... and you got a dope voice and should play your voice like an instrument. I can hear it in there and I think you're gonna do some really good stuff, and I'd be really interested in hearing this if you redo it and just flow! Impressed fam! Checkn more out

on I am the one to blame by Camy
This is another great composition Camy! Your stuff is very reflective and deep. A lot of contrasts within the piece. You just kinda seamlessly flow in and out of good and evil!
Camy
Camy replied Unknown
Sorry for the late reply.

First of all, I thank you for reviewing my track. The difference between this track and other tracks is that I first wrote the lyrics and later composed the song. This song is very personal to me. The song is based on a true incident happened in my life!

PS: I am not a native speak, and English is not my forte. If there are any errors, please forgive me. I am learning english :-)

Thanks,
Camy!

on just trying by Camy
I like it. Maybe some strings like a cello doing a nice counterpart to the foundation...idk. I like at how it rains softly in with that change up around 2:20... the underlying hook set in the back. It's nice girl, don't be so hard on yourself! Walk away for a little while and come back to it on a rainy day and BOOM, it'll hit ya like a ton of bricks!
