Hey Zootman2u, I trust that all is well with you. Thanks for listening and your feedback. For me the right keys can make a song just right. And I’m always looking for either vintage or innovative sounding keys. On the subject of side chaining, you’re going to have to check the process out. I can be pretty kick and bass guitar heavy. That can create low to mid low conflicts. So in one case I would like the kick to punch through in the mix and not turn muddy of lose definition. So I’ll set my compressor starting with a fast attack on the bass track and side chain the kick track signal into that compressor so the bass will duck every time the kick triggers it. This is one application, there’s many others. Be Safe my friend.

Personally I think keeping it real with your music opens up
the whole world of music not just the style of a specific genre. Don't get me wrong, we love what we love and that could fall in just one genre but, I think we should not be afraid to
say (musically) what we think. That's one of LM's greatest strengths (in my opinion). So far I have gotten nothing but encouragement here and I think that helps us all move forward on our individual music journeys. Too much coffee!
