on somthing in the way nirvana cover first try by rockoff
I like minimal stuff so I'm fine with just a guitar and voice. Maybe a tiny bit of bass needed? I used a free Spitfire Labs one on my current track, its got a nice soft sound might go well with this. Free too. I think you've had a good crack at putting your own spin on this, changing up the phrasing. Its interesting anyway, like most of your stuff, which is a always good thing.

This is beautiful cooking with loops. Very nice warm, relaxing sound. All elements working so well together. Also like your willingness to play around with so many genres with all these tracks.

You're a man after my own heart with the slow beat and ambient vibe. This is really nice. Are you playing guitar? I could hear a chilled vocal on this.

Paz y salud.

Sweet song man, and yep totally sounds like you're right here in the room. And I think only you would ever use the words choo choo in a song here :)

theHumps replied 16th Jan 2022 - 4 years ago
Ha! I was wondering if I'd get a comment on the choo choo line. Fun to sneak something like that in a song, gets the kids interested in riding the rails.

Nice tune here, was it real whistling? That would be super cool. Mix sounds decent to my ears at least.

Like a bit of fusion. Nice hypnotic vibe, chill sounds. Some great keys in there. The background vox and accents work well.

that's pretty much what it sounds like. i let this play while I was folding washing and it definitely got into my head. sometimes i like music that challenges. my old grandmother now RIP was on the dope at the end of her life, she kept seeing bugs on the walls, my sister would go around squashing these imaginary bugs. not sure why i'm sharing that story must be the music.

Thank you for listening, and sharing your story. I had my share of imaginary bugs to deal with as well... not fun. I'm happy this track could get into your head. Thanks again!

on TO THE SEA by weston63
Hi, I don't really know the etiquette either but I reckon its your track, you should feature it under your name (if you want to). Just go to the track settings and down the bottom there's an option to show it in featured tracks. Then for it to show up there you have to post a few comments. Up to you, thanks for the effort you put in.

This is gorgeous if I may say so myself! you did a totally cool job incorporating my track into yours so seamlessly. Love the slight dub spin you put on it, the track has a lush sound and vibe. Will be downloading once I'm back home and able to. Very grateful for this, I love it. Thanks so much. At the risk of self promotion, you should feature it and drop a few comments on other people's tracks you like so more people get to hear it.

Thanks i enjoyed mixing it if you do any singing guitar songs and it's possible to separate the vocals from the guitar and i'll be able to incorparate more vocals more guitar if your inspiration visits you again .not sure how to get it featured but will comment on more tracks are you able to put on your page as it is 50/50 i don't know the rules yet?

on 2 dudes and a ditch - a Zootman Pseudoble Collab by pseudoble
A happy accident you dropping my track into your project by mistake! Sounds great, cool groove and bass line, ace guitar and I see you even indulged in my bad habit of playing stuff backwards lol. This is full of texture and subtle variations. I like. Hope you're feeling better over there on the other side of the ditch.

pseudoble replied 1st Jan 2022 - 4 years ago
A happy accident indeed - I was tempted to still add the no baking soda (frank yola) vox which is what I was going to do but I loved your track and it sounded so good (to my ears) in with what I already had. Covid test tomorrow - sick a as a dog : (

Always nice to hear a melodic accoustic number on here. This is really lovely. Nice guitar and excellent sound choices and beats all the way through. Good mix and sound too everything really clear. Was hoping for a vocal would have been the icing on the cake but never mind, still great work.

on UNDERMORPHINE - Vitriol DEMO by thechockehold
Production sounds pretty good as it is by my standard :) that's one busy bass at times, guitar riff is cool great drums too. R there vocals? Look forward to hearing a finished version.

Its a lot of uncommon and controversial stuff on this record. I usualy play Orange amps, they have that neutral core spund I can turn to everything from crunchy clean to high gain using couple stomps.I've switched to marshall and it went surprisingly good playability wise whyle recording, but I dont like the guitar tone in the end. JMC800 is fine for crunches and its more dynamical, but it has that "marshall" colour of the sound which is everywhere, on each 3rd record you listened since childhood. AFD (i used for high gains) is a pure disaster. So there are a lot stuff to do and redo/ Thanks for listening.

Cool melodic rock tune. Liked the overdriven rhodes and the guitar work is awesome. Unlike my playing which is sloppy as hell but never mind.

Nice work, got a feeling I've listened to a similar one of yours before, something with gamelan in it maybe? Could be wrong about that: (

Hello Zooteman,

Thank you very much for your positive feedback.
Yes, I use all kinds of sounds like gamelan, sometimes tablas, sitar or bagpipes that I associate with more contemporary instruments. For the rhythm I also mix the genres. As I have no culture or musical practice, I allow to mix the genres. It gives you what you get... I’m doing this for fun.
