But trying to do different things so I guess I should expect the results to be more hit and miss. Jeff Lynne used a ringing telephone loop in Telephone Line and I remember hearing it in another song(Beatle's song maybe).

Just playing with loops and effects. I thought of elec git but was still sore in the back, just started sitting up in front of a computer actually when I did this.

Well, had to get some work stuff lined out and ready to bring the madness back after the "period of reflection" (you pretty much nailed it). Also if been messing around with a cover band so I learned like 90+ songs in a week. I used it to study song structure, which I had never actually done, because I never bothered to learn any songs (since I know most of the theory). I have a new respect for learning simple songs.

Actually, it is Nu-Disco which is a real genre. Nu-Disco is a post-Disco genre. Adding Pop, or Rock, or even Trap to Disco turns it into Nu-Disco so Fat Boy Slim would be quite appropriate.
