Nice unorthodox guitar chords over the vocals, very Blondie. The mellow solo is not too bad either. There is quite a bit of volume difference between the loud and soft parts. I'm assuming that is by design, but you could consider squashing the track a little with some master compression (or turn the quiet parts up a little, it would spare my speakers).

Great unique track, nice work.

rockoff 21st Sep 2021 20:31 - 5 years ago

i love it good work very talented think we have all over done the melow to power pop switch but you did it so well i enjoyed it

OtherIdeasProduction replied 25th Sep 2021 - 5 years ago

Thanks for that,Rockoff!

This song was definitely 100% inspired by the vocals. I wanted to make a song that is surprising but also weird. I was also happy that i could record some guitar for a change, hah.

Thanks again,buddy! :)

Zootman 21st Sep 2021 11:49 - 5 years ago

This is different! Some cool guitars, and bass actually, along with all the other elements. Wasn't prepared for that first change up but I liked the transformations through this track. And the mix and production sound awesome, you obviously know what you're doing!

OtherIdeasProduction replied 25th Sep 2021 - 5 years ago

Hey Zootman! This time i actually knew exactly what to do, but it was the vocals that really made this song to come alive.

Yeah man,i even surprised myself by inventing that funky section, hahah. I had fun time ,coming up with that ending L+R guitar parts.

Thank you for the compliment!

pseudoble 21st Sep 2021 04:04 - 5 years ago

Love those guitar breaks - a couple sounded somewhere between adrian belew and nile rodgers and then theres a very nice bluesy lick

The rest of this (beat, vox etc.) is damn fine too!

Great work

OtherIdeasProduction replied 25th Sep 2021 - 5 years ago

Wow,Adrian Belew and Nile Rodgers? In a way i think you have a point there. I really wanted to make a song that is kinda weird, and i think it got it right, heheh.

And best of all,i got to play some guitar for a change too :D

Thanks for the comment,Pseudo!

Wow, this is an ACE of a track.
Perfect arraignment.
You've done a great job.
Well done.
Maj

OtherIdeasProduction replied 25th Sep 2021 - 5 years ago

Thanks Dijam. That song really came together in my head when i heard those vocals. Without those vocals,i would still be making this song, hahah.

dimestop 20th Sep 2021 23:21 - 5 years ago

OtherIdeasProduction replied 25th Sep 2021 - 5 years ago

Hey buddy. Thanks for the comment. Im glad to hear that you liked the song. Yeah i wanted to really do something different,i think it came off okay.

Modnex 20th Sep 2021 01:41 - 5 years ago

I'm digging the instrumental on this one. I especially love the guitars. You did a good job adding the vocals. Great job!

OtherIdeasProduction replied 20th Sep 2021 - 5 years ago

Hey there Modnex. Thanks for the compliment. Yeah,i decided to do my own track for a change, its a nice balance for always mixing other peoples stuff.

Yep,i added a bunch of guitar to this tune and i was actually inspired to play, which is nice, hah.

Thanks again :)
