did you change the track lately?? I think the dynamics is great, many different parts that are tied together perfectly (some great transitions in there!!!)

this is what you do!!
using loops can happen in different ways:
you can put them together without changing them and create good tracks ...
you can send them through filters and add a lot of effects to create something completely new far away from the original ...
that's all good ...
but you do something different in between:
you listen closely, you feel them, and you find out what is the strength of each loop you use ... this way you transform simple parts into a piece of art, somehow like a mosaic which is by far more than a nice arrangement of colorful little stones ... know what I mean???
tracks like this one tell me that it is right to give away some of my work for free, that means much more to me than earning a few bucks ... thank you!!

simple lead riff, but awesome playing ... very relaxed
starting with a perfect intro the song delivers a lot of groove, it only could be a little bit longer, or maybe it's me who just want to listen to it a bit longer ... lol
of course the production could be a bit better, but this doesn't effect the song which is really great work!!!!

i think i compose for the piano as if it were a vocalist, since i rarely have one on my pieces and the piano and envoke just as much emotion in the listener as a great voice can, i think.
im honored you love my music, as i have been one of your biggest fans for quite some time now :).

but nevertheless it's a great work, cause I know how hard it is to mix big orchestral sounds with rock guitars ...

the arrangement is good so far, slowly building up, you keep the tension over the whole song ... except the intro, it doesn't make a listener very curious (don't know, how to describe better what I mean ...)

mixing is mostly a matter of experience, but it's the key for a good sound ... I spend about 85% of the production time with mixing, sometimes more ... ;-)

I know exactly what you mean about mixing down.
I seem to spend countless hours fiddling with all the knobs and sliders, but it still doesn't come out like I want it to (especially when vocals are involved). I know that part of the problem is that these cheesy desktop speakers don't reproduce any bass at all, but it's mostly (as you said) a matter of lack of experience. Hopefully, I'll get better at it as time goes on. I just need to learn the right techniques...

Hey man, thanks for checking out my latest. Guess I have a way of sucking folks in eh? hee hee.
Start out soft so you'll turn up your speakers...and then 'bam' as you say.
Your very right, people don't have to do blazing fast leads in order to make a nice song. The right notes at the right time works the best.
I keep wondering how to better myself with each new passing tune...but its hard.
