this track is great got a real industrial feel to it.. just missing the guitars .. maybe you could put the word out and get someone to play guitar over the top.. nice .. keep 'em coming

See it thought anything else would be too much, but I will take your advice.

brother this track wouldn't be outta place in a soft core porn movie.. hope you don't take that as a insult but it's true.. listening I can't help but picture a soft focus scene with a blue light in the back ground and two people faking fecking.. the production is great and the piano is proper haunting..over all a great track.. maybe you could call it "blue light special" tee hee!.. keep 'em coming brother

on Set Me (arabiaN) by DjnErU
the start is great.. me thinks you've got some timing issue with one of synths early on.. it does get better later on but it's still there.. I'm not a big fan of house music anyway... but I like this.. it just needs a little more work on the final mix down some of your levels are a little off at times that clicky bass drowns the song.. nice though.. keep 'em coming brother

on In This Moment (feat. diziuSPiano) by gtierce01
there are some great ideas here brother.. just for me the drums need to be a little higher in the mix and maybe that piano a little lower.. really the base of a good track maybe some fx or a little more change in the pads might help.. but it's all subjective so.. nice... keep 'em coming brother

Much appreciated. This was very first attempt....so, still have a lot to learn. I do know I am shifting genres.....been a metalhead all my life. Have always wanted to score films. I just listened to all of your tracks.....very impressed. I have gears turning on that colab if interested. Thanks for the input.

oh .... hot hot hot brother.. I've always loved to listen to the funk.. ok some nice ideas here brother but..... this ain't no drum and bass.. sure there are drum and bass in there but wheres the speed? most drum and bass in normally at around 160-180 bpm.. I would suggest checking out sn76, Verge, Spivkurl, TravisHuckins or djcodex these guys are all really rocking the drum and bass here on looperman and should give you a better idea of the direction you should be heading in for this genre.. don't get me wrong the track was well produced and a good listen just not really in the right genre.. keep 'em coming

on My Little Enigma ft Califken and Holly (Updated) by JohnnyHunter
there are some great ideas on this track.. a nice flow that makes for a good listen.. I loved the vocal at the end very rave style vocal (old skool happy hardcore)with the change in pitch.. I would have added a few more fx and maybe the master volume needs to go up a bit but thats just me being picky.. for the most part the whole track is nicely produced.. keep 'em coming brother

Thanks mate. I appreciate your feedback as its great to have it heard on different streos, headphones etc. I'll try to increase the volume... When I do, it looses its dynamic depth... and gets cluttered. I've since changed the arrangement to something a bit more easier to follow. Thanks again

ok so there are some nice ideas here brother i like the whole jazz thing you got going on here.. it's nicely put together but maybe it needs a bit more mixing up.. some trumpets maybe a sax... just to take away from the monotone minimal sound.. me I would have added a upright bass every say two bars to add to the thickness of the over all bass sound.. if this is your first try at drum and bass congrats you got it just right there really is some roni size type sounds going on in there for me it just needs a little more variation.. nice track keep 'em coming

there are some nice ideas here ..but at over 8 mins I have to say I got kinda bored.... I'm a huge NIN fan (don't know if you know about remix.nin.com great site you should check it out)but this seemed quite repetitive after a while.. dont get me wrong the vocals, guitar and bass all worked.. the ideas are there just need a trim maybe.. keep em coming remember it's all subjective

great track brother.. sometimes things can just work like that can't they..as Hannibal you to say "i love it when a plan comes together"... for me I have to say this track seems to lack the thickness on those bass tones that your other tracks seem to have.. I love those industrial sound you've got working in there.. nice track brother keep 'em coming..

oh and thanks again for those reason presets..my wife now hates you I played with them for hours.. tee hee hee

ok there are some nice ideas here brother.. that snare needs a little more middle sounds like you've compressed the hell outta it.. the whole track just seems to fast whats the bpm? 200? there are some nice ideas it just feels a little rushed drum and bass doesn't need to be that fast.. the bass is very nice a treating growl runs through the track like a pulse.. I didn't really pick up to much on those fx or to much of an atmosphere maybe it's just me... I really think the track has potential maybe you should check out some of the ep's released on black hoe records.. tvg hates tvg is awesome and does atmosphere and slamming beats very well.. keep 'em coming brother

Finn69 replied Unknown
thanks for the crits man! yeah that middle drum loop was an over compressed one i just lifted out of another tune i made as audio, working on changing the snare and getting more ambient fx and will repost. oh and black hoe is awesome! thanks for switching me onto it brother.

there are some very nice ideas here brother.. it all sounds a little muffled.. you got a heavy compressor on it? maybe a heavy amount of limiter? the whole track works well don't get me wrong.. and I would be quite happy to put this on my mp3 player.. just maybe a little extra care to the final product.. keep 'em coming brother...

I like how ultrabase faved the track but didn't take the time to review.. nice!!!

I agree with you pop isn't a dirty word especially if its done like this .. there are some great ideas here just gotta work on that final product.. the levels needs to be a little lower to stop the clicking and distortion in that vocal maybe some reverb on that just a little nothing too George Micheal (loads of reverb!!!).. some really great ideas keep 'em coming

Thanks so much for listening! I'm hoping to get some better equipment (at this point, just a decent affordable microphone). What do you use for mixing.
Again, thanks!

oooh some nice ideas here brother.. a some points the bass just over shadows everything so maybe take that down in the mix a bit.. again the bass needs some extra thickness maybe adding another at the lower end of the middle..for me a a nice track given a little more work it could be great.. keep 'em coming brother

thanx dude... love to hear some things to improve on. will mess about with maybe just getting a diff EQ on the current bass or try adding a lower/mid bass to fatten things up. cheers m8

on Obama - 4th Track v2 by obama31
a nice start... very chase and status.. just missing those reeces and maybe a touch more sub to lift that low end.. also the track is quite quiet.. maybe it's just the player.. I think with just a little more work this could be a great track adding a few more drops and more atmosphere would do that... keep 'em coming brother

some very interesting ideas... the pad/violin in quite high in the track.. personally I would take that down a bit in the mix.. as a whole the track is missing that sub that you as a listener would associate with jungle.. but as a work in progress its a great start.. keep 'em coming brother

some nice ideas here brother... took a while to get going.. but I like the atmosphere on the track.. maybe it is a little too sparse in places and could do with a fatter bass line.. enjoyable listen now the less.. keep 'em coming brother

on figure it by thaddeus4th1
ok for me there are some nice ideas here but.. the drum track is to high in your mix so the listener finds it harder to hear anything else.. dubstep is normally set at about 140bpm so this track does sound a little too slow.. ya wobbles are nice but they have no thickness try adding a sub using the same pattern and it'll add that thickness you'll hear from most of the greats.. like I said there are some nice ideas here brother it maybe just needs abit more research and work.. keep 'em coming
thaddeus4th1
thaddeus4th1 replied Unknown
word thanks bro! i noticed i needed a sub in there just couldnt figure it :), the 2 drum machines i use are set at 1/16 and 1/32 creating a 70bpm/140bpm split cause 70's one half of 140 see. huge help man, much appreciated!

some nice ideas here brother... the drum track is nice but a little too slow for my tastes.. but I'm finding that more and more lately with the rise of dub step there seems to be a crossing of genres and drum and bass is morphing into some kinda different monster..the bassline is ok but like you said you got to put filters and stuff on it so... nice ideas let me know when it's finished and up and I'll give it a proper review.. keep 'em coming brother.. and definitely finish this one

some nice ideas here brother .. the drum track is excellent nice and clean maybe just needs some more layering to add thickness.. the bass line is great goes a bit wayward towards the end but ah well... this kinda made me think more dubstep than drum and bass.. dont get me wrong I liked it nice chilled track with a great sub driven bassline.. keep 'em coming brother..

would like to be more helpful but I dont know what programs your using as you haven't put it on your profile... just a tip .. if you want good reviews you gotta give people the ability to help you through info on your profile

ok.. so I'm guessing your pretty new at all this music making stuff and your enjoying it... this for ME ain't dubstep.. wheres the wobbles? wheres the sub? everything is abit mono tone.. samey.. your levels are abit off too cause the track is quiet but that might just be the looperman player..

you might wanna check out this site

http://www.boyinaband.com/tutorials/reason-4-tutorials/

I cant really help you any more cause I don't know what program your using because you haven't put it on your profile.. to get any form of useful advice people need this sort of info...

dont but disheartened... there's definitely some promise.. keep 'em coming

Thanks for the honesty man, i was awaiting a genre comment. Mainly because i dont really know what i would call it. Im into dubstep like i could never explain so thats why i put it there and if you would mind telling me where you think it would fit id appreciate it. Im using fruity loops 8. and yes im brand new at it like 4th day on it. I like the track but i agree there isnt enough flow and my individual samples seem almost awkward. But i like the progress im making since my first track. Thanks for the feedback man.

some nice ideas here brother well executed.. this is more the quality i expect from your good self.. great production.. that bass is just sick... what did you use? I would how ever ay that after a while it got a LITTLE (i mean super little) samey .. maybe you could add in a few more drops.. just a thought.. and thats me being picky... once again great track.. nice to see ya back to your best... keep 'em coming brother

I used NI's Massive synth, almost a simple Sawtooth reese with compression and put through a Bandpass filter. Layered with a sub, but that much is obvious. :p

Glad to hear I'm making easily listenable music again, instead of that one randomly low quality piece of work the other week, haha. Also glad you liked it. :D
