dunno, I think the sub hits just right, I've only been able to listen to it on my head phones, computer speakers and the car though, and it's fairly consistent over those three, but i'm sure it could sound radically different on a different set up.
Thanks for the words dude, glad you like it :)
EDIT: Hey man, I did some more mix down tweaking, I think the sub hits quite a bit harder now, if you happen across this, listen again and let me know if you can tell the difference... I can't anymore lol
there are some really clever ideas here brother... the use of jaws is genius.. your style here seems to be going more for the tek one thing loads of bass, wobble and distortion I hope that was what you were going for because I kinda liked it but I like that kinda thing.. the track as a whole would sound thicker if you add some pops and cracks to your drum track you know maybe some extra ghost notes or some industrial sounds.. I would have used the sample from jaws "we're gonna need a bigger boat" somewhere in here not sure where but it would have set the whole track off nicely... nice track just needs some tweaks here and there.. keep 'em coming brother
cheers man , yeah i was and cheers i might start putting pops and stuff in , but need to record some stuff on a mic and modulate em but yeah i tried putting the "were gonna need a bigger boat" but it had like background music on it so that was only problem but thanks man (:
there are some great ideas here brother but that bass over takes everything so I would turn up that drum track and turn down that sub... the track as a whole is quite cinematic and choosing to have the track at 140bpm does make for a great atmosphere... have you tried working on a darkstep track? atmosphere is king in darkstep from the beats to the pads .. it might suit your style brother.. anyway a nice listen just watch your levels.. keep 'em coming
there are some nice ideas here brother.. good use of samples.. your bass is nice paced and well compressed nothing seem to be out of place, having said that it does at times sound like the drums are tucked in behind it which may mean the sub is compressing the whole drum sound at a guess... the track is nice well produced but it is quite generic... similar to the sound you'd hear again and again in the dnb genre.. so for me it needs a little something to separate it from the crowd if ya know what I mean? keep 'em coming brother
nice ideas here brother.. a sound I haven't heard for a long time.. vocal dnb seems to have died a death for now at least.. very up lifting.. I would have liked to hear that sub a little more I know it's there just would like it to smash around the head from time to time.. nice keep 'em coming brother
yet another track I absolutely love.. we got to get you on our label brother.. promote the hell out of you get more people listening to the birdy brother..
ok very very very different.. not what I was expecting at all.. for me and I know I am not the genre police but this wasn't any type of jungle i recognize.. some nice ideas but in place the whole thing turned into a bit of a mash of sounds.. maybe it's just down to the production side of things who knows.. any way keep 'em coming brother
Thanks man... ya I didn't really think it was dnb so I put it under Jungle lol... Def not one of my finer productions I made it like 3 years ago when I didn't know what the heck I was doing... :)
I can totally hear the nin influence.. the whole track seems a little thin .. the drum track is thumping away but theres no bass to give it that accompliment.. having said that it did remind me of a john carpenter soundtrack track from something like escape from new york or the thing.. keep 'em coming brother
some interesting ideas here brother.. but your mix is all wrong.. that reverb or whatever it is is killing the whole track.. made me feel totally spaced out.. an interesting take on dubstep you just need to work on that final product.. keep 'em coming brother
there are some great ideas here I love that rumble in the intro and that drop around 3 mins is great but my question to you is why didn't you drop it earlier?.. the low end doesn't really fuss me because the track works so well... nice track brother.. keep 'em coming
I really let the tune do it's own thing and tried not to rush it too much. I thought the delayed drop added a little suspense but looking back there is no suspense when people have no idea what's coming, right? One of my biggest weaknesses us sequential flow with my tunes. Without following some sort of template they can get quite hectic. Though I didn't use a template of any sort for this track I think it turned out fairly decent. Thanks for the review bro!!!
there are some great ideas here.. you got that very old skool prodigy sound rocking here which makes it very relevant to the times we find our selves in.. if you were to add reese or two and definitely a sub this tune would really rock for me those missing elements make this tune a nearly tune.. if you know what I mean? anyway keep 'em coming brother
some nice ideas here brother.. love the intro.. nice production the sounds are all great and coming through lovely the track just seem to lack some to give it that edge can quite put my finger one what it is.. maybe a heavy sub would shake it up a bit.. keep 'em coming brother
Thanks, appreciate it!
I think definitely put a thick juicy bass:))) and I made it, but before uploading I decided to remove it, because I somehow did not fit!
but in any case, thanks!
some nice ideas here but some of the levels are just all wrong.. in fact at time it made it quite uncomfortable to listen.. maybe it's a reverb thing.. you seem to have shed loads on that gated snyth... as I say some nice ideas just need a bit more work on the production side.. keep 'em coming brother
I know the levels aren't where they should be. That is why I labeled it Beta. I still haven't mastered it yet. Adjusting the levels is my last step to finishing it. Thank you for taking time to comment.
some nice ideas here .. was waiting for the big bass kick in but it just didn't happen ..some nice production thus far it's just way too short.. let me know when you've finished it.. keep 'em coming brother
I loved this I'm a big fan of original and almost all of the cover versions.. proper dirty brother.. maybe on the production side the high end needs some taken away from it but thats it.. keep 'em coming brother especially if its as good as this
Thanks for the review ya I should probably master it and maybe change the ending I dont know yet... I can't load my mastered track on here though because there too big kinda sucks...
some nice idea here brother.. but I have to say I spent the whole track waiting for those phat wobbles and heart shaking sub... I like the draw on early industrial music very ggfh.. great production maybe ease up on the reverb a bit but still I enjoyed it.. keep 'em coming brother
there are some great ideas here.. I would try layering those drums a little bit.. add an extra kick snare loop general most drum and bass loops the snares and kicks are in the same place this would add some thickness to those drums and some power.. really the same goes for the bass it just lacks thickness theres nothing wrong with the tracks structure.. all the drops, vocals, drums and bass are all in the right place the just need that thickness to add power to the sound... having said all that I did enjoy the listen.. keep 'em coming brother
there are some nice ideas here.. the tracks seems to need a bit more speed.. what is the bpm? but seriously hats off to you for trying to sink up vocals in reason I find it totally frustrating.. your wobble seem to be lacking the thickness I would expect of dubstep.. what method are you using? and the sub feels out of time with them.. I sure these are all thing you already know... keep 'em coming brother
yer the bpm is like 135 i fiddled with it for quite a while an decided it was best at 135. its more of a chilled dubstep feel but thanks for the review mate im hoping to get it revamped soon hope you can listen again.
there are some nice ideas here brother.. just is quite repetitive and short.. the production is good it just need a little more love added to it.. nice ideas.. keep 'em coming brother
Hi Numberjack Your track ''Chilli Breeze'' , i used some parts of it is really a good job.And it is an inspiration for this track. We are adding nice sounds together for the ears of universe sons.
Peace and happy weekend my brother.
please tell me you have a label.. my my my this is sick.. proper sick..this is professional stuff brother special ya know? up there with borgore etc.. sir I salute you.. keep 'em coming brother..
Well thanks.. I dont think ive ever had a review so quickly. I havent got a label but I would like to try making some money out of this music lark.. nice to be compared with the likes of borgore thank you. i have to say i think my music has come on leaps and bounds over the last few months. ill check your tracks, try and leave a review im just awful at them which is why i dont much.. thanks again :)
gotta start by saying I'm not a big fan of trance far too happy for my tastes... for me the whole track seems a bit sparse maybe it needs some kinda heavier pad underneath it... because what you've got there at the moment doesn't seem to be covering.. the over all production is nice but needs a little tweaking here and there which I suspect you know that already being as good as you are my friend.. keep 'em coming brother
I see what you mean, definitely. The track being sparse was for the most part intentional. I will take your comments under advisement if I go back and rework this track. I appreciate the honest feedback!
