on Mandy by Lundi
The intro, I thought was great, as well as the bassline, there were a lot of ambient noises. When the drums came in it sounded kinda wierd, like they didnt fit, but that quickly changed, and the beepy synth sounded good in there as well, and I really liked 2:20. Made me feel happy, like trance should, but was slow like dubstep.

Personally, I dont really see this as a dubstep track, just a slowed down trance track, but dont be offended, because in my opinion trance is the best music, and Im not really a big Dubstep fan...

Nice song, third one I've listened to, none of your songs have dissapointed me yet, so you still have time to ruin that.. Or preferably keep it as it is.

on DREAM AWAY by Dj4Real
This definatley has a nice atmospheric, dreamy atmosphere at the start of the song, with vauge melodies going on in the background. I like the way that the drums come in, I think you need to start maybe taking a look at desiging music for games, I think you would be a great flash game musician, and I can definatley see your work in platform games like mario, littlebigplanet, etc.

Nice song, I reviewed this because you asked me to.

on Shut it Down feat MichaelPimentel by Lundi
I like this song, It has a great intro with the long pad, and then the chords sound great, the vocals fit well with.
The drum break is great, I think that you've done a really good job with this one, the bassline is good, and I liked it when the drums had the swing on, It sounded great, but at parts it felt like the vocals didnt fit, so I'll give you a 9 out of 10, also, do you mind making an instrumental version, just because I think it may sound better in parts without the vocals, but this is still a very nice track, This is nice drum and bass, its not super heavy so your ears start bleeding, but it shouldn't put people to sleep, like mine sometimes do with the relaxing intro.

on Butterfly Opens - Titanium Handles Lock Fast by n0mad23
I really liked the opening to this track, there seemed to be a sort of tribal atmosphere given off, the drums were nice and original, and I like the noise that came in at 0:57, I dont know why, and did I hear Refx slayers talkbox in the song? Anyway, this is certainly a good track, and when I lay back in my white plastic garden chair of death, I instantly felt relaxed, then had a heart attack as I almost fell over, but I can see myself listening to this one.

Nice track, I have added this one to my faviroutes.

I had to do something experimental for my own needs, and I'm happy how the intro sets up a particular mood for what follows. All the effects are from public domain field recordings (Paris, London, Berlin, Ouagadougou, Bamako, San Francisco, New York, etc.) that I spent a lot of time combing through and finding the right sounds to weave in. I'm sure I'll remix this at some point, and I'll be curious to see if it's liked as well. Thanks for the listen and review!

on Dance with me by Marius9
Its definatley something different to the original, the way the bass and the piano fit the vocals is strange, but it sorta works, and I loved it when the vocals were played backwards, but at parts, the vocals went out of timing, so you might want to fix that, and find an alternate to FL's piano, simply because, its unfortunatley overused.
Marius9
Marius9 replied Unknown
If you hear the vocals were out of time, you must have a really good ear, because I can't hear it, but at the same time, I really wanted to give this an improvish human feel to it, just a girl's vocals soaring over music. As far as the piano, are you talking about the piano sample itself or the notes being played in the mix? Because I don't hear many people using the FL keys a whole lot personally, and it's the most realistic piano sample I have found that doesn't kill my machine. I thought about using Kontact, but my system won't handle it. As far as the notes go, I think it's buried in the mix to where it comes out at the right times. Thanks for the honest and insightful review though, it's nice when you get someone who gives an honest answer to something, and actually gives it, doesn't just move on to the next track to spare someone's feelings or whatever.

on Effluence by DerGestiefelteRaver
I really liked the intro, It was kinda creepy in a way, but it sounded good with the stabby chord things and synth growl and vocal samples.

on I Want You by VampireCowboy
I liked the alien-ish intro, the bassline and the drums fitted together well, but when that second bassline starts to kick in, it starts to go a little too wierd and disharmonic, and both basslines are a little simple, and to be honest they dont fit together too well, but you have some nice sounds here, so its not all bad news.

I love the drums at the beginning, and the 8 bit noizes are nice. I like the way that her voice fits, I was worried it wouldnt work at first.

Im not a big fan of hip-hop and stuff, but I think this sounds pretty good, but I'm not really able to review hiphop and dubstep songs, because I know very little about them.
StephenPotter
The beginning was kind of creepy, but the piano's were nice, as were the drums, this definatley has an eastern feel to it. Nice work :) I love the sitar!

I love the piano in the beginning, and the drums are nice, and then the trance lead at 1:08 has a nice feel to it.

on I dont know what he is by bobbybooth
Woot!8bit synths are great, so I like the intro, then the bassline that goes with the wierd 8 bit noizes is good, the drums are fantastic, as is that scratch. Then the pads are pretty impressive to.

on DJ DragoN-Un Giorno In Venezia by DJsDragoN
I've said to a lot of people, the drums in the beginning need reverb, and so does that chime synth, and I can see why you said It had the mystical feel to it.

Hey Man! Thanks for your review! Yeah you got a point there about the reverb! Glad to hear you felt the mystical vibe I tried to put throughout the track! Have a nice day!

on Rain Dance by Scottmusic
I love the rain samples at the start, and the second I heard the guitar I hit the favourite button, Its a very relaxed song, and now I want it on my mp3 player. Long journeys, I want to listento this. also the guitar at 0:50 is amazing!
StephenPotter
I like the beginning, had something of an alien feel, and then the synth Lead sounds a bit like the sort of thing B0unc3 (newgrounds user) would put in one of his songs, But thats a good thing, the drumloop is unusual to start with, and this whole song has something of a Sci Fi feel to it. Nice Job!
(Also the bass is amazing!)

on Just another day by Dj4Real
I like the drums IN the beginning, but I think they needed reverb on them, The bassline is pretty good, as is the wierd bowed strings, and the plucked noize. Kinda reminds me of the PS3 game littlebigplanet, as it has a similar sound to its soundtrack in the first few levels.

on Take me Higher by Lundi
Nice song, my sort of drum and bass, but one thing I must ask: Were the vocals Inspired by 4 strings-take me away? Because they do use those words in their song, but of course, trance has never sounded like drum and bass. Again, I will say Nice song, I'm not too big a fan of the trumpet, but the guitar and bird samples, along with the vocals are nice.

on Nightshade by Aereas
Great song, but the vocals seem kind of muffled at parts, because they seem to be fuzzy, I dont know the actuall term, but apart from changing the noise levels on the vocals, you don't need to do anything to this fantastic relaxing track. I can see this on my mp3, and I can see myself using it on a long journey on the motorway...
Aereas
Aereas replied Unknown
Damn. Thanks man.
I know I can work on the vocals for it to feel more "natural" ?
I don't know. But yeah, I can see what I can do about it.
You know, I made this track without vocals at the begining. So I might just upload the same track without vocals, If you like.

Thanks for the great review!
Peace

on new demo by moataz
Lovin that intro, It definatly is awesome. That bass is pretty damn awesome. Not too keen on the choir being used by itself, but i like the blips that follow up, But i can tell your an FL user, Im pretty certain that choir is from sytrus, and that drumloop at the beginning... Its autophresh?

Nice work though man! I love the sweeps and the way this song builds up!

Oh you said solid inc made the sounds. Sorry, I didnt read that part. Still good work, especially with that long reverb synth thing that i cant describe very well.

Keep it up :D
