on Hopeful - (emotions 2) by DanielGtrman
oh wow - how nice - really nice - unique tonality and recording quality - i see you mention not having much for recording gear - but Im glad you dont cuz it is the perfect sound for the feeling on this. I want to also hear whatever Dext Dee does when he mixes and chops it etc - will you keep me in the loop on that? I really like your music!

nice piece - I love the way it "breaks in" with a melody at about 50 seconds. very well balanced too. and great mixture of sounds including the whispering.

on Discretion by yeslek
I like it - I think I could almost here some kind of robotic singing thing - like devo maybe - have you considered browsing the "accappellas" and just try chopping some things up a bit and putting some of those free vocal loops in here? I am always amazed how well almost anything works together!

I will definitely have to take a look. I signed up for this site about half an hour ago lol. I'm not sure really what it has to offer but I will figure it out! Thanks for the review :)

on Shine by FrenchKid18
i think its really great - at first i thought perhaps it was too "demo" and wanted it to kick into some kind of fat sound - but by the end I had changed my mind about that and appreciate as is!

on COME DOWN SELECTOR (bass, guitar, etc) by MiracleManTracks
I am not sure what "genre" I would catagorize it as, but that doesnt really matter much to me - I like the complexity of the drum programming - nice work!

great track - melodic and very cheery - you must have put a lot of work into it - nice work on the drums especially!

Glad this one could bring you some cheer! Yeah I guess I put a lot of work into this one, or atleast a lot of time and thought. Thanks for your comment about the drums, I wasn't sure if they worked or not. Thanks friend!

on aint no sunshine til shes gone by Sector7even
Sounds fabulous through my speakers - absolutely love the bass drum - perfect. Great work. The vocals blend with the music so well that I really get mixed up as to what is human and what is machine - in a good way.

on Take me Lord by SLAPJOHNSON
yes man - you are incredibly talented - love this track - only complaint would be mix wise - would love some more bottom end on it - but the writing is fabulous and comes through any of those minor and of course, subjective imperfections. Thanx also for all the great loops you put up - I had fun messing with some of them tonight (and posted the track)- yer name is in the title so you should be able to find it easily enough LOL - you are awesome!

on Make It Blues by AgainstInsanity
well I like it - and if that is truly your first... you did a great job - nice tone on that guitar and I like the way the drums and bass kinda "trick you" a bit.

on The IQ ERASER by RISKYDJ
I really like it and think you did a great job - love the tempo at which the tune evolves - the parts hang out long enough to get into them and not so long as to get bored - perfect - as far as the mix - not sure you need to do much - the bass was a little heavy in my speakers but you may want to check with others on that before taking that to heart cuz my speakers are not the best. I could not really understand the words but that didnt bother me - if you do want them to be understood maybe just a little more high end. Nice piece!

Hey, thanx for your review. Im glad you enjoyed my track. The bass is a bit heavy i have to admit, i think this had something to do with me using 700 watt 15 " full range JBL cabs to monitor with! I appreciate your feedback as you have a great deal more musical experience than me. I will have a listen to some of your material and do a review or 2. Thanx again, Dave

on India on a photo lense by Africabean
i like this a lot - its over my head but very inspirational - i like the entrance of the tabla after intro and the stops - and then the "bust out" half way through to a whole new thing - wasnt expecting that - nice work!

on What A Day by Fase
smooth track - i dont really know what makes "dub" ... "dub" - but its a great groove - i appreciate how the parts move in and out from each other - (like the bass drum comin in at 1:11), etc - and the chord back and forth - neat and fun - thanks for puttin it together

on Runner in the Dark by Spivkurl
great track - tight mix - nice mixture of sounds - and I really appreciate the use of "short sounds" (i always go right for the long and lush stuff and forget to mix in some short stuff- so thanx for the inspiration. Nice progressions and nice work on the drums and stops too.

Hey friend, thanks for getting me back on a review!

Yes, I'm very partial to short sounds. for some reason I can't master the lush flowing sounds that are so common to trance. I just do my best with what I can do.

I appreciate the specifics in your review, it's nice to get such helpful feedback. Thanks for listening!
