wow - blown away - great, well... ok... in honesty, I dont like the sniffels... but... i understand thats the artform here - but what a wonderful expression of your heavy duty serious ass talent!!!
Patricia - this is great! Really - this could be a hit in my mind for sure - and as always yer vox are outstanding! I am curious about a little background on this - did i miss a description somewhere? Did you write it? Music? Lyrics? production? hope you are well and sending much love!!
It's a collab with someone who is not a member her on Looperman. As suggested below would be better if it were played live. I wrote the lyrics and of course the vocals.
oh wow - this is really awesome - i took yer pella tonight and added it to some music i was working on (I uploaded it on my page and you can check it if you want) - i had not listend to this at all - just the pella - so now after having worked w it all night i come and hear this... and i'm thinkin... this is really great - you are awesome!
love it - great work muzic - and i think its great that you just put yer own lyrics and melody to this - i would hope the composer would be amazed and honored... i would be! Great job here!
mmmmm - yes this is very unique and a wonderful listen. super creative and original and the feel is just awesome - plays nicely as background music but also so much to offer on a careful listen - and yeah, you do a great job with yer drum fills - fer me I'm just too lazy when it comes to drum programming and so I am always very minimalistic with the fills. Great tone on that slide guitar!!
Thanks, man. Sorry for taking a while to reply. I agree with everything you wrote and it's similar to all the comments below. It's good that other people feel the same way I do about this track - that's not any particular praise for me, just praise for the result.
If you would like to do some better, more detailed drum programming, just say and I can give you some, good simple advice. It's not that hard and it's something I've gradually built up, partly because when I'm working with inspirational sounds and riifs, I don't mind spending ages and ages with them and very carefully adding and removing sections. In fact, completing a track is a bit sad for, which is why I spend ages on each one and they tend to end up being very long. Keep listening as I'm sure I have more blues you'd like (not that any of it is at all typical of the various blues genres).
i think this is great work - I like the inspirational mesg - you can have be and do anything - your voice is wonderful and no pitch issues that i heard at all - also great work on the production - love the interplay of the cello/violin - very nice!!
Thank you so much Haven! Inspirational music is my goal. Aw, that means a lot. You're an amazing musician yourself. I am in the process of re-recording this one because apparently I hear a lot of pitch issues haha, and I got a new mic. ;) Thank you so much for taking the time out to even comment!
wow - sweet tune - very original - amazing guitar chops - and I like the vox out front like that - cuz they sound great - I actually really like the mix you have here. Great sax - maybe bring that to the center (seems out of balance on the left in my phones). How did you record this bud? Sounds like it was done in a real nice studio in NYC with live drums - only thing missing is the backing ladies in my mind - love it - glad we're back up and running!
Thanks for your great comment. The truth is that the sax was recorded Slap, and it sounds wonderful. I look at this. And the girls, that would be wonderful ... I also started hearing them in my mind and would sound really good. I'm glad to hear you again.
wowie! so... you added yer touch to Bear's trax? Wonderful - I love it - you are a true talent and I really enjoy your work!
Love the notes that you hold in this - and I think the lyrics work so well with this music - it is very unique
you are awesome my friend - love those synths - and just so well constructed - so much to listen to here! Love the beefy synth when the female vocal comes - nice toothpasty synth sounds and a great tune!
Thanks for the review my friend, so glad you liked this track. It is popular and i intend to do more like this, if i can find vocalists that will help me out...: )
Thanks for your nice comments. If you haven't heard any of my music before, then you will be pleasantly surprised by the variety I do.
This waltz was done on a dare by a fellow Looperman last year, to see if I could do one. So this is what I came up with. Some of the parts are loops as I don't play Fiddle or drums.
Any parts that I don't play myself, I always say which parts they are.
I don't play mandolin either, but I do play 5-string banjo....but not that often anymore at my age. Lol
I am retired now and I don't do that much music for others as I am traveling around here and there. I have done a few songs with other folks and it has worked out for the most part.
I am doing a rock song with a fellow from Mexico at the moment.
Thanks for your comments, I appreciate them very much.

oh hello - this sounds wonderful to my ears - got it crankin on my ads 12s - great playin and super feel - i dont think i have ever heard any of yer stuff before - really terrific guitar chops and tone!!
Thanks for listening and reviewing my a couple of my songs.
I play a mostly rock, country and some blues (some of it slide as I own/play a Dobro and an Emmons Pedal Steel).
If you look into my profile pics, you will see the instruments I personally own and play.
Thanks for the comments and I will review some of your songs as well in return.
great work here! Great song, great performance (and yes, i would like to consider you for a couple of my country tunes that are current wip), and great production - excellent separation of sounds and nice warm beefy mix - very impressed!!
hey thank you so much for the comment. I'm searching for songwriters , if theres any chance you'd be interested in writing or doing a collaboration please please please let me know!!
Very cool! I especially like the guitar textures - not even sure how many trax that is, but they are blended beautifully! You may wish to plot out the notes to her melody a bit and adjust some of yer chords a little - of course there are many many options, but you dont really want to have a D over a C#, etc.
I also put her accapella to music in a country rock sort of style - feel free to check that out on my page...
Thanks Haven for your review and note your comments with interest. To be honest, I just wrote the music without knowing what she was going to sing on it vocally. Sometimes it either works or it dose'nt, i really like it though.
As far as the guitars go, It was an accoustic track first, then a clean strat, and then a big crunch sound with delay on and finally some e-bow.
Cheers for checking out the tune.
its catchy - i like as is but would also be pretty cool if you added a solo over the chords after the vox - perhaps a saxophone or a trumpet would be neat?

The track was just so emotional the sniffles seemed to give it more of a dramatic effect...so I guess the mission was accomplished.
Thanks Haven!!!
