this is really unique - if i understand correctly somehow you are playing this "live" - thats really great if this is spontaneous - fun listen - great work!
this is really neat - I love the slow "pizacatto" sound over the super fast drums - I am wondering if that is typical of this genre (drum and bass) - I have always wondered about this genre - what makes it "drums and bass"? Anyway - its terrific - you have great skills!!
this is really great - love the piano playing and the intro is just wonderful - I wouldnt have expected the vocal approach over this music but it truly works perfectly - nice job!!
wow - that is very powerful - nice work here - I never even knew what this genre was about - i appreciate what yer doin here! It's some really diligent work and you have your pieces working together seamlessly!
I am frickin loving this! Its just a great groove - makes me want to take the day off and just get lost in music! It is its own little vacation - and I am a big fan of mixed genres and experimental - thanx for this - downloaded for sure!! Great work here
..now that's what i call feedback!..cheers mate..most everything i do falls into the 'experimental' category..just learning every day..very pleased it worked for you!
love it! it just really comes together nicely - you must have put in some time on this one - love how patient you are in bringing in yer parts!! Love the breakdown to acapella then back in ... wonderful!
super work - its like futuristic star treck - great bass lines and love the muted stacato mixed in - great percussion - it just all is so well put together - congratulations on this one!
hey jamie - i know i have allready commented on this one - but also wanted to tell you how much i really appreciate this piece - after listening to it last time I went on youtube and did a little studying on the whole tone scales/ chords - then when i went out to Utah to play 4 shows with my band (Grateful Dead cover band) I asked the guys if we could do an experimental jam each night with the wholetone in mind - we ended up with some great jams, but as i come back and listen to this one it gives me such appreciation for your work - what a great work in making the wholetone approach so incredibly melodic and listenable!! Thanks for the inspiration!
I'm glad you like it! I guess I like your stuff because it reminds me a little of that golden era of music when the Dead, Little Feat etc, plied their trade!!
yeah again - this is great - i really like yer stuff - its fresh and happy - jazzy - and almost has a few spots of "mariachi" - nice guitar solo too!Reminds me a bit of He la se by Hugh masakela.
this is really great - i checked it out cuz i just put "crunk" in the search box since i didnt know what that is - nice work! makes me feel like a Marcian.
Thanks for the review haven.....The credit for the vintage sound goes to Serial Chiller, I uploaded his loop and he did a great job. Chris Charles did an excellent job with the vocals too. I have to admit this track is one of my favs. Take Care Man.

love the rolling quality to this - love the simplicity of the the changes and they seem so juxtaposed to the drum track (in a good way) - makes me feel good to listen to and inspires me!
Thanks Haven, I know you've been in the business a long time, so getting a review from you means alot. Thanks so much for taking the time to listen and reviewing. Take Care
Gord
love it - great work and thanx cuz this is a very enjoyable listening experience - all goes together so well and has a suspensful and mysterious quality - yes, great soundtrack material!
Cool buddy..so happy you like this track,I'd like to play this material live and see what reaction it received...I think I'd have to be careful of the venue though, can't see it going down a storm in a Cowboy bar! lol..cheers mate Dave :)
wow - this is very impressive - I have a hard enough time with the DAW! LOL
But forgetting the process - it stands on its own as a great musical composition!! Very enjoyable to listen to - lots going on and all very together.
yeah - love it! very unique - as others have stated - the spanish guitar just makes it - but the mix and choice of sounds and beat - its all really great work!!
thanks for this - wonderful - the whole tone scale and how to apply it is still quite a mystery to me so I have a ton of respect for that alone - but also the choice of sounds, etc - really really nice work my friend!!
I like it - would be happy to add some bass and guitar to it if you want- let me know - (of course that would be an instrumental) - you could still work it in other directions too (vocals if you want).
trippy little pitch effects you got going on here!
First track? Really? Wow! I think it is wonderful - would be great for a movie soundtrack sort of thing just as it is - always amazing to me cuz I have been doing this stuff for 25 yrs and still strive to come up with something this good - you got a great mix - also love the drum fill comin in at 1:45 - great job!
