this is frickin awesome! Love love love the drums - and love the interplay between the guitar and strings - and it IS fusiony!! Great work here!!! And love the breakdown dynamix - could go on and on and I'd still be plugged in!!
Hehe..thanks man!..I had to pull it up at the end and I agree,I could have gone on much longer..but I suppose the track length constraints do serve a purpose and keep things manageable..much appreciate your kind review..cheers planet :)
this is great - love the vocal treatment and the layering of sound and the lyrical approach and really love the lead instrument (synth guitar?) - and the backing female vocs too - great feel on this - and the developement (when the drums come in)- really nice work here!!
this is gorgeous - a beautiful piece of music - love the tone on that guitar - crispy clean - and has such a "transport me" vibe!!
thank you for sharing this!!
this is really refreshing and wonderful - best thing I have heard so far today! Love to hear "la la la" - seems thats been forgotten - yes this is unique and if some think that the recording qual is a problem at all, I disagree - I actually think it suits the song - great choice on the distant flute - I really enjoy this song!!
another good one here - I always love your stuff - love the motifs - little mini melodies so to speak and of course the mixture of textures and sounds - some fading in with long attack times and some short and tight - nice work - enjoyable and makes me feel like Im in the future!!
Hey friend! Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm pretty happy with how this one turned out too. Makes you feel like you're in the future, eh? That's pretty cool to hear. Glad you liked it man! I appreciate your reviews!
Man you made my whole year with that. Thanks a million feel free to download it and share cause I don't care. truth be told I need it some appreciative folks like your self to hear it.
see there you go againg making me blush. This is one of my personal Favs. This always tends to get a good review. The engineer give me the idea to double up the hook to give it that funky feel. I am greatful to this day.
love it - its like a journey and i love anything that is "spacey" in any way whatsoever - but it also somehow has a "tribal" sort of feel to it - great work!
very nice work here - good mix and good song - nice guitar playing - I'm thinking youve got some stereo chorus on the vocal and i think its a good sound for the song.Great work on your backing vocals too - and its got a catchy hook!
Thanks for the review. The mix was something that really fell into place. I have fought with many in the past and Pro-Tools really made it much easier. I did have a slight chorus on the lead vocal. Nothing on the backing vocals though.
wow - nice playin. nice shake you got there - and love the way it "breaks down" (1:40 or so) - and gets into that "talkin it" kind of playing - then brightens up - nice mixture of tonalities and picking approaches and no holding back once you get it turns on (3:20 or so)- and the overbends (4:30 or so)- just very expressive. You are very talented and inspires me to approach my guitar a little differently next time I pick it up!I wanna know how you get that "diving sound" around 7:10 or so - twang bar? slide? - awesome
wow ! thank you very much..
that was a deep review and i thank you for that!
I opend the file to hear that 07:10 and i noticed that the part ends at 07:10, so maybe you wanted to write something else? (:
again, thank you very much of you review, that was really really nice to read and to hear.. ! nothing more good than to know you had an effect on someone else!
yes - you have another really great one - love the minimalistic percussion approach for this one - it would still be a great song ... but so different if you had a full drum kit going here -but you did this one perfectly appropriately to get the feel of the song across- at points no drums at all - wow - i never think to go that way - thank you! Oh... and nice singing too, French kid!
yes and I love the percieved tempo change - but it's not really a tempo change just a reduction in busyness - very nice work here - and the vocal is sparse and neat too.
i actually DO like the static - I have many times tried to experiment with that and people always think it is just some kind of error - but no - love the string motif - nice work and the change in drums sounds (gate?)
i really appreciate that man the drum work is arythmia which is industrial drum packets it was my first attempt trying to make some industrial infused hip hop thanks again
yes - interesting right from the start - love the tone on the bass drum - and spacey synths - if there are guitar tracks, my ear missed em - but i enjoyed the piece!
very nice - love the keys - reminds me of the dx7 patches - also, chill out is new to me but I really enjoy - I like the relatively hot mix on the drums and also the synth entrance at about 1:30. keep it comin!
Thank you man , actually i didn't use any hardware , i'm not sure i guess it's from Nexus vsti , and about the synthe that came on 1:30 it's from Sylenth1 this sound is from my old trance mix just sample to remind who listened to that mix =D
thanks again glad you like it !!
love it - i can tell yer just havin fun - curious... what day of the week was it and what time when you actually recorded it? sunny outside? cloudy? etc - just curious - makes me want to grab a beer - also love the fakeout ending turnaround at about 2:05 - you decided for more! glad you did1
I think it was recorded on a sunny thursday afternoon and I had been jamming blues tunes, decided to find loopeytunes "blue is blue" and build it up from there. thanks for your review
