Description : Here is something -unusual- for between. A kind of a shanty.
In a new, minimal, dark, trancelike, wave style. Letz call it electro shanty!
This is an 80 years old song about a crew on a ship.
First there water went bad, then they got no wind, then they hit a riff.
And one after the other died on hunger and bad water ....
I changed the music abit for a more dramatic feeling :)
I used two loops from looperman for this track.
looperman-l-0510699-0066795-jcb-stereo-panning-toms.wav and
looperman-l-0711069-0075941-kristijann-hip-hop-drumloop.wav (used to create the drumsound)
And just one synthsound from IL Autogun.
The rest is just voices.
Hope you like it. This isnt perfect at all
but this is realy more a kind of a fun project.

Very impressive effort you've made here! To me, this has a very minimal techno vibe to it. With just some subtle changes throughout, it would sound more finished and enticing, but I love it as is. The stereo toms are quite impressive, and I can hear why they were inspiring to you. I also like renewing quite old songs as something new and different, so I see where you are coming from. Very hypnotic and enjoyable electronic song, and your voice is quite good! Keep at it! Fave!
This is (just) a real raw file. Often i like this raw things more then the finished work. Thats one of the reason why i need so long to do things new :)
This toms are very cool and in my ears they cryed for some vocals. So i done it.
Nice to hear that you enjoyed the listen and give the track a fav.
Thanks for your comment.
Nice that you enjoy the listen.
And Kraftwerk, oh yeah, i think i heard almost all they done and i realy love some of there stuff very very much.
But i realy had no Kraftwerk feeling on this track befor you asked. Thats intressting.
You seem to run in the same crowd that I find myself in. I was attracted to your German accent and found this to be a nice little track. I can't understand German but it is distinctive. I would like you to sing a song of my lyrics in English with your accent. We'll need some music and I suggest some dance beat that pulsates. The words I have so far are "Rock and Roll Reiner" I will develop it more if you are interested.
Hey Joe, really creative work here. I haven't heard the original shanty, but I know you have put a really cool modern tilt to it and it works really well. Like I said, it isn't easy to take a song that is over 80 years old and make it work in today's market.
Outstanding effort. It is a little bit long, but what the heck, it is a shanty. They are supposed to be long :)
I dont know if it is the first one of a genre :) who knows
The point is - i didnd start to do this track.
I just listen to some loops and by that i found this stereo toms. I liked the sound and the hypnotic feeling and so i just taked a mic and maked some noise to it. It ends on this madagaskar song and i loved the beat and this sad lyrics.
So i just sang the lyrics a few times and later i tryed to make some sounds around. AND a bad thing happend. I didnt hit the notes cause i didnt had any while singing. So only on the main text the notes fits and on the refrain it sounded very bad. So i just take it as it was.
The song is 7 parts long and normaly between all come a refrain. mostly 2 times. i redused that but you are right, it is realy long .......
I realy felt in love to this song and i believe i will do a "real" track with it. And then there will be more sounds and things around. Cause this dieing crew thing and the ocean and the sad feelings .... there can be so much sound
Ok, thanks for your time u spend
stay tuned

Description : Basically, this track was made back in the day when I was a HUGE Electro House (Especially, Big Room) fan. I was inspired by the track LRAD by Knife Party but I ended up with this piece of poopie. I'm not even trying to produce EDM anymore but I just wanted to share this since I spent a lot of time on this. Positive/Negative comments are all welcome! Thanks!

Description : THIS was one of my first tracks i made for the looper fam. I was not sure whatkind of genre it realy is, so i named it electro.
I used only samples i found on looperman. I did a vocal line by myself and mixed all in a way i liked it. Hope that you also like what i had done.
Just tell me what you think.
Loops i used in this song:
From Anubis.
drum loop puzzle.
snares army.

Your offer sounds interesting.
Never done something like that befor.

with the knowing that i do a -Madagaskar- track.

I like the vibe and the vocals work well. The main percussive synth movement is good but I really feel the track is just too repetitive.
There are lots of fills or even proper changes you could add to make things more interesting.
Sorry I don't have much else to say but that's because I can't find many different sections to talk about.
Because it's so repetitive, it seems very long.
Let me know if you hear it differently.
