pretty cool style man, this is nice and groovy. Maybe its just my speakers but the lead synth sounds a touch too loud, good production apart from that. Well done
I remember the school days when you used to get 2 weeks off every so often, ah those were the days! Now I'd be lucky to get that off! Anyway, nice track has a pretty uplifting feel, love the synths and beats, good job!
Pretty cool track dude, has those 90s vibes, the vocals fit the track really well, maybe get a little repetetive but I guess thats what house is all about! Good job though i enjoyed listening.
Im not sure this is trance, but it sounds pretty cool whatever it is, nice sounds! You could maybe add some organ, bring out the sub bass some more?? Like others have said, maybe try and flesh out the middle as you have a nice intro and outro.
Yup, definitely a spivkurl track after about 1 second haha. I like how all the sounds are made from one synth, helps to make it more cohesive. Nice and quirky track, I enjoyed listening once again! :)
Hey friend, thank you for the kind comment! It was fun making use of some of the early recordings of the synth, just as test if nothing else. Happy that you enjoyed listening!
You haven't been around for a while (as you, obviously, know).
Yes, some nice heaviness here though I try to always make it quite clean and controlled. And melodic.
My drum setup is a combination of Superior Drummer, loads of loops and some other hypersampled acoustic kits I still use in reason that are inferior to the various Superior and EZ kits. I only have a few Superior expansion packs (kits) but I have nearly all of the EZ Drummer ones, which Superior also plays.
The main heavy one used here is the Metalheads EZ kit. While being great for metal, it's surprisingly versatile and I've used it in chillout tracks and even jazz. I use lots of drum loops in my stuff though generally mixed in with the programmed kits. But here there are no drum loops so I guess it kind of all sounds like a hard rock drummer. At times with more than four limbs.
1:18 drop is awesome and, as the guitar part ends, is simply me turning off the distortion on the weird bassline, which is the intro to the track. Yes - very dynamic and unexpected. Then I'm in my much more comfortable chillout home and can groove more easily on guitar etc.
"choir pad"
I guess you mean the multiple choir voices? They're a bit more than just a regular choir pad and play quite a few different melodies based on different vowels here.
"4:10 Also like this riff, has a cool vibe which ties on nicely from the last part."
Yes, I vary that main synth bass quite a bit after it enters the track in the second minute. Then it plays right to the end, including throughout the end heavy sections. Even when there's distorted bass guitar on top. Very fat bass sound that I've used in loads of tracks.
"some kinda pearl jam-esque vibe"
That's a real surprise to me! I'm a big fan of their early stuff albums Ten and Vs. However, I gave up on them in about 1997 and haven't heard anything probably for 15 years. Maybe the big riff on 5:17 makes you think of them. Not sure. I wasn't aware they had anything this heavy but feel free to suggest anything (album or song) I may have missed over the years.
Nice, really like that slowly building intro. Not what I expected when the guitar kicks in but sounds awesome, has a really pink floyd'y vibe. I like the little breakdown where it gives you a little chance to breath and then kicks in for one final push. Very well put together and the mix sounds fine here so wouldn't worry about that too much. Really enjoyed this one so well done! :)
Thanks for listening, man! I'm glad you liked it. I take it as a great compliment that it reminds you a little of Pink Floyd. It appears as if you're not the only one who thinks so, either.
I can live with that!
Hey, man. Thanks again for the kindness. I appreciate it.
Hey my friend hows it going? Haven't been on the loop in a while so thought I would check in! The synths in this sound wicked! Vocals work well with this too! Has quite a sense of urgency to it that i like a lot. As usual, well done mate I enjoyed it! :)
Hey buddy, good to see you! Very happy you enjoyed listening to this! Was a fun project at the time, and fixing the problems with the demo version made it worth listening to. Definitely urgent, glad you could hear that! Hope you are well!
Hey, I quite like this! Has a cool chilled out jazzy feel to it! I like the percussion in it and the synth sounds are cool! Good structure and everything sounds fluid, I cant really fault it at all! I like how it picks up energy with that dnb beat, Well Done!
Really liked the instrumental of this so was curious to hear with your vocals. Has that sig spivkurl sound, I especially like the vocal around the 1:03 mark where you put a bit more power into the singing. The vocals are quite cool but if Im honest I think I still like the instrumental better, just my preference. Great job once again dude!
P.s. Got a couple of days at home before I fly to the states so gonna be working like mad on our collab!

Hey friend thank you much for the feedback! I was trying to be real for a change, and to get this shit out of my head. Worked pretty well for me. I still dig the instrumental, but this will be the one on my album. I'm a little lost in the mix, and I have tons of collabs that are somewhere in the process, and I think it's all everyone else's turn to send something, so I feel liberated myself in that I did my part for the moment. Look forward to hearing from you!
Cool mix once again mate, the first bit reminds me of orbital or plump djs or something :) haha. Would much rather listen to this kinda music than the crap I usually hear when Im out at the weekend! The vocal samples are cool! Gets a bit more serious in the second part, nice driving bassline. Vocals compliment the track nicely. Third part is pretty banging as well, I like the percussion and all the little glitchy noises. The first part is prob my fav, really liked the feel of it, well done mate this gets my seal of approval for sure ;)
Cool track mate! I like the medieval elements in it, sounds very original with the vocals over it also. Mix is very good, I'm listening on headphones at the moment but the beat is kicking nicely! Wish this was a bit longer as I feel you could have expanded on the themes a bit but what you have sounds great, well done! :)
Very good use of loops, has a really nice groove,, mix is spot on too! This is right up my street, hard hitting beat, killer bass and some really nice little glitchy fx. What more can I say... Love it!
Hey thanks my friend! I really appreciate the support! This is going to be the final in a group of three songs on my new album, once I get the vocals all sorted. (Can't for the life of me remember the term for a group of three songs, but I know there is one!) I'm happy you enjoyed listening!
Pretty cool track mate, I like the old school amen break for the drums. Theres some nice transitions in this too. Would be cool to have a little breakdown somewhere in the middle so I could catch a breath for a second and then drop the bass again. Well done though! :)
Tons of energy in this track, like the synth sounds a lot. Cool arpeggiated melodies as well! Sounds pretty good through the laptop speakers, just wish i could hear it on my monitors at home! Well done!
I can definitely recommend to listen it again on your home monitors since the bass hits quiet different the second time. But since this track has a lot of high frequency/middle frequency sound most laptop speakers should indeed be able to handle it haha.
Thanks further for the kind words Extraball ;) Glad you enjoyed this
Hey mate, cool track! Good beat but still nice and chilled out! The flute and rhodes really help with this! I enjoyed listening to this a lot so well done on your second attempt at this tough genre! :)
Thank you for stopping by and reviewing this one, had better response then thought it may get, being so different from most DnB tracks up here, yep agree fairly tough genre especially when not having many DnB samples in library even makes it tougher, but did enjoy doing this one, so maybe and just a maybe might try again in future...Peace n Respect man...Mosaic...
Awesome work man, I'm really liking all the different sounds to this! The middle is nice and chilled and it picks up energy for the last part, which is probably my fav bit. Vocals work well and some cool brass too!
Another cool track my friend, almost sounds a bit disco in places! Love the sounds in this and killer bassline too! Love it at 2:00 when it goes into the next part, the little vocal snippets work really well, good vocals by you also! Enjoyed this one! :)
I'm getting the feeling I'm in a disco mood, which is a little strange to say the least... wait until you hear the mix i just sent you... heh. The bass was mixed between one mid range sound and a sub bass made from analog waveforms, I kind of like the combination. All the vocals in this are me, just trying to stretch myself at the expense of appearing foolish. I hope this song will get better soon, I'm just back in collab mode, so, ya know... Thanks for the review!
I Like that deep bassline, cool synths too! I like the snare roll and how it transitions into the next part, would be cool to have some sort of building delay on the synth before you drop the bassline again! Second part sounds really 90's, vocals work really well! The last part is ace, almost like its jumping out at me! Sounds really good mate, well done!
Thanks. I might try and add a few more layers and give it a bit more depth. In all honesty i'm not that happy with any of the stuff i've been making lateley so i think it could be a lot better.
Cheers for dropping in and leaving comments.

Cool track, definitely has a nintendo-style game sound to it which reminds me of some games I used to play when I was younger! Nice melodies and beat, well done! :)

@1:18 - I like this part a lot, quite dynamic for a heavy metal track like this.
Guitar solo's/tone etc sound great and that choir pad adds nicely to the atmosphere.
4:10 Also like this riff, has a cool vibe which ties on nicely from the last part.
Begins to morph into some kinda pearl jam-esque vibe which is cool!
Well produced track, nice one! :)
